The 2020 WWE Draft kicks of tonight on SmackDown. We have a total of 9 women who are eligible to either stay on the brand they have been on, or hop on over to the other brand.
Those that are available are as follows:
Stephanie McMahon hosts the draft yet again this year and the following have been the results:
There will be five picks (in total for women & men) per round just like last year:
Asuka (c) RAW Women’s Champion – Stays on RAW
Sasha Banks – Stays on SmackDown
Naomi – Drafted to RAW from SmackDown
Bianca Belair – Drafted to SmackDown from RAW
Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler (c) – Women’s Tag Team Champions stay on RAW
There’s only three women left for night one – Mickie James, Dana Brooke, and Mandy Rose. Where will they end up? Will we see anyone from NXT?

Mickie James was not selected in the draft. According to the rules of the draft. Rules for if a Superstar is not drafted:
“Any undrafted Superstars will immediately be declared free agents and able to sign with the brand of their choosing.”
In a WWE Exclusive prior to the Draft starting, Mickie discussed how she was excited about the Draft. She hinted that she wanted to go to SmackDown but regardless of which brand she wants to go for a title. More Draft picks are said to be made on Talking Smack on Saturday. Let’s hope she will be announced on what brand she will be on.
Night 1 of the WWE Draft is now concluded. There was no one selected from NXT. It has been unclear if they will be a part of the draft overall.
