AJ Lee is set to star in her very first movie.
The movie, titled Hellstorm, is described in a press release as an action/horror movie, its plot reading:
After the collapse of the world’s financial system and a devastating world war, a group of mismatched survivors are forced to band together and battle a variety of unexplainable and horrific beasts that descend on their tiny makeshift community.
The press release lists the three-time Divas Champion as the film’s star and reveals that her husband CM Punk will be appearing in the movie as well.
The movie will also star Mat Fraser (American Horror Story), Colleen Camp (American Hustle), Selene Luna (My Bloody Valentine), Kate Hodge (Leatherface: Texas Chainsaw Massacre III) and Brian Goff (BorderCross). It is written and directed by William Butler (Madhouse).
Hellstorm‘s IMDB page doesn’t provide many details, only revealing that it’s been in the pre-production phase since April.
