Former RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch has been reported to have been present at the WWE Performance Center this week.
Originally reported by PWInsider, Lynch was at the PC earlier in the week and they had been told, “the visit was described to us as part of the process for Lynch to return to action for the company.”
She was last seen on WWE programming in May 2020 when she turned over the RAW Women’s Championship to Asuka after announcing that she was pregnant. Lynch gave birth to her first child, a daughter, with fellow WWE Superstar and her fiance, Seth Rollins.
Lynch’s last match was at WrestleMania 36 where she defeated Shayna Baszler to retain the RAW Women’s Title.
This report has been confirmed by Fightful. On Fightful Select, they confirm that Lynch was at the PC this week and more specifically as recently as Thursday. They were told by numerous people that Becky looked “jacked” and “like she never left.” There have been numerous posts circulating social media showing Lynch has been working on her fitness.
Nobody confirmed that Lynch was seen doing any training in this visit and instead spectated some live matches that had been going on inside the PC. Fightful further adds that several women on the main roster have hoped that Lynch returns soon because that will mean the booking will likely improve.
At this time there is still no set date for Becky’s return. However, with SummerSlam approaching quickly in August and the return of fans next month, the fans may be seeing “The Man” return soon.
Last speculation on an official return from WWE themselves was from Nick Khan (WWE’s President) commented that Lynch would return, “at a certain point in time in the not too distant future.” This comment was made at WrestleMania 37 in April.
