Chelsea Green signed by WWE?

Rumors are swirling that former Tough Enough contestant and independent star Chelsea Green has signed with WWE.

The rumors stem from Twitter user rovert, who has broken previous wrestling news, who noted that Green has reported to the WWE Performance Center this week after with the WWE.

Shortly after her stint on Tough Enough, Green signed with Impact in June of 2016. Throughout her time with Impact, she aligned herself with Maria Kanellis as part of The Lady Squad and took part in a storyline that saw her orchestrate a plot to marry fellow Impact Wrestling star Braxton Sutter. Sutter rejected Van Ness during a in-ring wedding which sparked the start of Van Ness’ broken heart bride gimmick. She would go to win the vacated Knockouts Title after defeating Rosemary in finals of the Knockouts Championship tournament. She was granted her release at the start of 2018.

Green was also one of the names that attended a WWE tryout held in June and recently made her debut on Lucha Underground.
