Killer Kelly and Marina Shafir will take part in one of wrestling’s most brutal events, Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport 7.
Portuguese badass Killer Kelly appeared at Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport 3 event taking part in the first-ever Bloodsport Women’s Tournament.
Shafir wrestles her first-ever match outside of WWE and her MMA training is perfect for Bloodsport. Shafir signed for WWE in 2018 and was teamed with fellow MMA fighter Jessamyn Duke. WWE released her earlier this year as part of their renovation of NXT.
Bloodsport is shaping up to be one hell of a show. The knockout and submission-based show feature some of the toughest and legitimate fighters from around the world. Kelly and Shafir’s legitimate technical and striking style is perfect for this type of event.
The event takes place on October 22 at the Ukrainian Cultural Center in Los Angles at is available on FITE TV.
Additional news for Kelly, it is being reported by Fightful that they have been told there is still interest in signing her to IMPACT. Kelly appeared for the promotion during its tag team tournament to crown new tag team champions at the end of 2020. Travel restrictions had halted her from moving forward with the company. Although she is now back in the states, Fightful was told that some things still need to be taken care of before she works for them.
