It is being reported by PWInsider that they have confirmed that RAW Superstar Naomi has been moved to the SmackDown brand. Naomi was one of eight women who participated in Sunday’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match. The match was won by Nikki A.S.H.
Naomi, who didn’t spend a full year back on RAW, was traded to the brand during the 2020 Draft in October while she was out due to medical reasons. She returned at the Royal Rumble in January. Since her return, she was teaming with Lana in the chase for the Women’s Tag Team Titles. Together, they competed in the Tag Team Turmoil match at WrestleMania in April.
Naomi is a former two-time SmackDown Women’s Champion where she won both times in 2017. She is also the first WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal winner in 2018.
WWE is reportedly having an official Draft coming up this October. With the company going back on the road, some moves have been made recently prior to the official Draft taking place including call-ups from NXT.
