IMPACT had its second day of tapings on Aug. 16. They have one more coming today on Aug. 17. The tapings are for the next several weeks of shows plus the IMPACT Plus event Emergence this Friday, Aug. 20, and the lead-up to NWA Empowerrr on Aug. 28. IMPACT’s next big pay-per-view will be Bound for Glory on October 23.

Here is what happened from Monday, Aug. 16 courtesy of Impact Asylum:
- Mickie James comes to the ring to hype up NWA’s Empowerrr which takes place on Aug. 28. (this will air the Thursday before the event). Mickie calls Deonna to the ring. Deonna attacks Mickie which leads to Trey Miguel and Melina coming out and fending off Deonna and Rehwoldt.
- Rohit Raju and Mahabali Shera defeated Matt Cardona and Chelsea Green – Rohit pins Chelsea
- Jordynne Grace, Rachael Ellering and Taylor Wilde defeated Tenille Dashwood, Madison Rayne and Kaleb with a K – Taylor pinned Kaleb with a German Suplex
- Taylor Wilde w/Jordynne Grace and Rachael Ellering defeated Tenille Dashwood w/Madison Rayne and Kaleb with a K.
- Trey Miguel defeated Matthew Rehwoldt. After the match, Deonna Purrazzo attacked Trey but Mickie James comes out and fights with her.
In matches taped for Emergence which is the upcoming IMPACT Plus event on Aug. 20:
- Decay (Rosemary, Havok, Crazzy Steve, and Black Taurus) defeated Tasha Steelz, Savannah Evans, Fallah Bahh and No Way.
