It’s that time of the year again for the Year End Awards. Another year of wrestling is coming to an end and 2021 had a lot of new faces and a lot of historic moments from familiar faces.
As always, the Year End Awards will be a team effort between Diva Dirt and Ring the Belle but it is you the readers/viewers who will nominate AND vote for your winners in each category.
This article is to set up the nominees. Below you will see the categories from this year. If you would like to participate, use the comment section below to pick who you feel should be nominated in each category.
Once the nomination process closes, we will pick the top 5 (or 6) that received the most nominations per category. The voting process will then take place in a new article. Ring the Belle will have a video to coincide with the nominees. The voting will take place at some point next week.
Be aware of the name of some of the categories before making your nominations. A few categories now are labeled Non-WWE in order to make sure that those outside WWE are awarded for their talent. WWE also includes those in NXT and NXT UK.

- Any promotion, which talent has the best finisher of the year?
Best Promo
- Any promotion, who gave the best promo of the year with those excellent mic skills?
Fashion Icon/Best Dressed
- Any promotion, who was the best dressed and deserves to be credited as the fashion icon of the year? This can be both ring gear, promo gear, or off screen (social media, events).
Best Face/Best Heel
- Any promotion, who was the best babyface of the year and made you want to cheer them on? Which wrestler made you boo them and were the top heel of the year?
Best Tag Team/Faction
- Any promotion, who was the best tag team or faction of the year?
Stipulation Match of the Year
- Any promotion, there were many stipulation matches throughout the year in many promotions. Which one was the best?
Most Untapped Potential
- Any promotion, there’s so much talent in the wrestling industry. Who do you think has the most untapped potential who should be utilized more than they have been?
Best Promotion/Brand of the Year
- Any promotion, which promotion or brand did the best this year?
Event of the Year
- Any promotion, there were many events which had the women shine this year. There were all-women’s events and events where the women had matches of the night. Which was your favorite?
WTF! Moment of the Year
- Any promotion, which moment in wrestling had you saying WTF?! Please keep your nominee to in-ring, promo, or storyline based and not real life situations.
