Itis June and that means for the whole month we get to celebrate extra hard about being ourselves every day! And because of that, every day here throughout the month, we are going to spotlight one LGBTQ+ wrestler. These names are not going to be in any order. So, this won’t be a countdown but more of just a highlight to celebrate.

Onto June 3. Here at Diva Dirt we do not highlight men very often, but some men can be Divas too. So for today’s influential LGBTQ talent we have:
EFFY
If there is one fishnet wearing man that is carrying the queer community on his back in wrestling, it is EFFY. The outspoken indie talent born in Tallahassee, Florida made sure to being the “gayest” he could in an area that frowned upon it. So much so, that he hosts his own “Big Gay Brunch” wrestling events.There have been a total of 10 events and it is promoted under the Game Changer Wrestling (GCW) promotion. The last event in April had EFFY defeat Dark Sheik in the main event.
EFFY works primarily with GCW and is the current GCW World Champion. He defeated Mance Warner for the gold in January. Since January, he has defended the title 19 times, including against Dark Sheik and Maki Itoh. He has also been one-half of the GCW Tag Team Champions along with Allie Katch, known together as BUSSY.
