Charlotte advanced with a victory over Emma, utilizing some timely distraction by Sasha Banks to score a surprise pin.
Alexa Bliss, meanwhile, made a big splash in her NXT debut, defeating former Divas Champion Alicia Fox.
The two Divas will meet in the tournament’s second round on next week’s episode of NXT.
