WWE is moving out of the ThunderDome after a near 12-month residency. The last set of tapings took place this week before the promotion go back on the road starting July 16 in Houston, Texas.
Here’s what the former SmackDown Women’s Champion wrote;
“Tons of championship matches, multiple tag team matches, so much yelling at Cole, contract signings, 2 Hell in a Cell matches, frustration, wins, losses, tears, endless memories for the past 15 months. So….What’s another 9?Goodbye PC/Pandemic/Thunderdome Era“
Bayley is one of the MVPs of the “Pandemic-Era”. Along with Sasha Banks she ruled the wrestling world in the throes of the pandemic. As the ‘Golden Role Models” they ran WWE across all three bands capturing all women’s titles on the main roster.
The ‘Role Model’ was set to challenge Bianca Belair for the SmackDown women’s title at WWE’s first fully fan attended show in 15 months. However, in a cruel twist of irony, she tore her ACL in a training session that will keep her out for 9 months.
