Liv Morgan comments on if the Sister Abigail character was ever meant for her

The character of Sister Abigail has always been a force in the story of Bray Wyatt. Ever since the gimmick of Wyatt’s and now into The Fiend, there has been this notion that Sister Abigail is around in some capacity. Liv Morgan was off of WWE programming for the majority of 2019 which led to many fans thinking that this could be a character for her. Sister Abigail had never taken the role of a physical person.

Vignettes for Morgan started airing towards the end of last year. In these vignettes, Morgan was seen in a bathroom and speaking on how she is truly becoming herself. This further sparked the interest to fans that she may be the one to finally join Wyatt as Sister Abigail. What ended up happening, however, was Morgan interrupting the wedding between Lana & Bobby Lashley.

We’ve seen lately, Alexa Bliss working with The Fiend. Although there has been no confirmation that she is in fact Sister Abigail, she certainly has been influenced by him. On the most recent SmackDown, Bliss was seen “possessed” by The Fiend as she lost it on Lacey Evans causing a disqualification of their match. But was there ever a time that Morgan really could have been either Sister Abigail or at least the road that Bliss is traveling down?

Morgan, who has a chance at the Women’s Tag Titles with Ruby Riott this Sunday at Clash of Champions, spoke recently with Sportskeeda. In this interview, she addressed this idea about her joining Wyatt/The Fiend.

“I think it’s very flattering fanfiction. I, I was never, you know, respectfully, hoping to be Sister Abigail. I was never pushing to be Sister Abigail.” Morgan said.

She continued, “I went away for a while and I’m finding myself and I’m exploring myself and I have all these thoughts and emotions and I’m trying to let people know without literally saying it. And they just, kind of, wanted me to return so bad. I think that that was, they felt that was it. They felt that that was it. That was what I was going to be doing. That’s a very flattering, you know, fanfic. But all it is is fanfic.”

With this putting that rumor to rest, did you ever want Morgan to become Sister Abigail?
