Ronda Rousey on when she will be returning to the ring

A name that has been circulating the news as of late, Ronda Rousey, appeared on Corey Graves’ podcast – After the Bell. On the podcast, Rousey divulged what she missed the most about being active in WWE. She surprisingly said the live shows. She had the following to say in regards to this topic:

“Oh my god. I miss live shows so much. I really do. I wish I could show up randomly at live shows. I wish that could just make sense. I know it doesn’t really, but that’s what I miss the most because I would never do hair and makeup on those days.”

She continues, “We would just hang out in the locker room until we had to go out there and do it. I don’t know. I love the comradery, like the kind of laid back feeling of live show days, and then just jump in the car afterward and go to the next town and definitely not being able to find food and just eat beef jerky all night. I love that.”

Rousey was highly expected to return during the Royal Rumble event last Sunday. In fact, she was an odds on favorite to be the winner. She, of course, did not return at that moment but perhaps her return is quickly approaching as WrestleMania is just two months away. She stated that her return will pretty much be on her terms.

“Probably whenever the hell I feel like it,” Rousey said. “If they just let me show up at live events, probably very soon.”

Speaking of the Royal Rumble, Rousey commented on Charlotte Flair’s win at the event. Rousey took on both Flair and Becky Lynch at last year’s WrestleMania. This was the first time women had headlined that event. Rousey has not been in the ring since then.

She comments that this year she wants to see Flair battle, Rhea Ripley. She also praised Ripley during the clip that you can see above and hopes to one day get in the ring with her.

What are your thoughts on a possible Ronda Rousey return? Would you like to see her face Ripley? Leave your thoughts in the comment section below.
