Sasha Banks claim WWE’s women’s division is the ‘greatest of any era’

Sasha Banks is one of the most decorated wrestler’s in WWE history. She is a multi-time women’s champion, Grand Slam Champion, and WrestleMania headliner.

As part of the Four Horsewomen of WWE, she helped usher in a new era of women’s wrestling.

In NXT Banks, Charlotte Flair, Bayley and Becky Lynch pushed women’s wrestling to the forefront. They continued to do so upon making it to the main roster and spearheaded the “women’s revolution” in WWE.

Over the years other women such as Asuka, Alexa Bliss, Ronda Rousey, Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair have all burst onto the main event scene. Therefore creating one of the best women’s rosters ever assembled.

Speaking to Bleacher Report, Banks stated that WWE’s women’s division is the best there has ever been:

“I feel like we’ve been knocking down every door that’s been closed in front of us. If they keep making more doors, we’re going to keep knocking them down. The WWE women’s division is the best it’s ever been. I think it’s the greatest of any era from top to bottom, and I can’t wait to see what more the future brings, even from NXT 2.0. To see how many women are down there from when I first started, there was only a group of eight and now there’s maybe a group of 30. Just to see the growth from then to now is so beautiful.”

Banks recently made history when she participated in the first-ever women’s championship Triple Threat Match in Saudi Arabia.

The Boss also revealed her dream WrestleMania main event opponent as Nicki Minaj, Bayley or Charlotte Flair.
