Sharmell is officially inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
WWE had its 2022 induction ceremony on Friday and Sharmell was this year’s female inductee. She was inducted by her husband and two-time Hall of Famer Booker T.
Booker introduced his wife by honoring her with the same words she used to give to him and that was “All hail Queen Sharmell! All hail Queen Sharmell!” as she made her way to the ring in her stunning gown. Alongside her husband,
During her speech, she thanked the likes of the Nitro Girls, Jazz, Victoria, Molly Holly, and Madusa for influencing her and in the early parts of her career. She thanks Kurt Angle, Rey Mysterio, and The Boogeyman for being across from her in memorable moments.
She wraps up her speech by thanking the WWE Universe for allowing her to entertain them and says it has been one of the biggest joys of her life. Sharmell is still involved in the wrestling business as she is the founder and helps run the Reality of Wrestling indie promotion in Texas with her husband. She says she has hopes for helping those individuals reach their dreams just as she has reached hers.
