Willow Nightingale Unable To Make Scheduled TJPW Debut

Unfortunately, Willow Nightingale is unable to make her debut in Japan this weekend for the TJPW promotion. In an announcement from TJPW, they state that Nightingale will not be able to appear due to her visa taking longer than expected. The event is set to take place on July 9 and is titled, Summer Sun Princess. Her opponent was set to be Miu Watanabe. Watanabe will now be facing Ryo Mizunami.

Both she and TJPW took to social media to say that they look forward to her debut once her visa situation is straightened out.

The full card for the event will be as follows –

  • Miu Watanabe VS. Ryo Mizunami
  • Hikaru Shida & Hikari Noa VS. Yuki Kamifuku & Mahiro Kiryu
  • Aja Kong, Yuki, Aino, Raku, and Pom Harajuku vs. Hyper Misao, Nao Kakuta, Kaya Toribami, and Haruna Neko
  • Moka Miyamoto vs. Juria Nagano
  • Maki Itoh (c) vs. Alex Windsor – International Princess Championship
  • Thunder Rosa vs. Miyu Yamashita
  • Yuka Sakazaki & Mizuki (c) vs. Saki Akai & Yuki Arai – Princess Tag Team Championship
  • Shoko Nakajima (c) vs. Rika Tatsui – Princes of Princess Championship

Nightingale was last seen on U.S. programming in AEW where she faced Jade Cargill in a losing effort for the TBS Championship on the June 17 episode of Rampage.
