Hola Knockout fans and welcome to this week’s Impact Write-Up! As we inch closer and closer to Bound for Glory, we see that TNA are slowly putting together their card for this year’s event. For Knockouts fans, we can look forward to seeing the Knockouts Champion Maria Kanellis defend her title against TNA Hall of Fame inductee Gail Kim. Seriously, the build up to this feud has been great and we see more of why this week!

For fans of the Decay and the Hardy Clan, we get an update to the aftermath that was #DeleteOrDecay. Where the hell is everyone’s favorite house keeper Señor Benjamin after being kidnapped by the Death Dealers? Will the Hardy Vanguard be avenged? What is in store next for Rosemary and Reby Hardy? Let’s dive right into it!

Jeremy Borash is standing backstage for an interview with our first Knockouts appearance of the night from the champion herself Maria Kanellis. Step aside JB, as Maria hijacks the entire interview to announce that she has taken it upon herself to induct Gail to the TNA Hall of Fame this week as opposed to having to wait until Bound for Glory weekend.

Maria claims the reason for this short notice of a celebration is to assure that Gail won’t be overshadowed for when Maria defeats her opponent come Bound for Glory; an opponent that would later be determined.

We head out to the ring for Gail’s would-be induction, we spy Allie standing by Maria with a small gift bag in hand that reads “Something for you”. As Maria runs down a list of all her attributions

Maria runs down her list of distinctiveness and claims that despite the champion, everyone seems to want to talk about someone else. The Impact Zone start a chant for Allie but Maria shuts them down by calling Allie “stupid and common” and instead invites Gail Kim to the ring, the woman who she was initially referring to.

Once Gail makes her way to ring, Maria trash talks Gail, telling her that she will never hold the gold one. Instead, Maria treats Gail to a special ”highlight” video package, which really turns out to be short clips of the few times Maria managed to get the upper hand of Gail. To add to the festivities, Maria also went ahead to and wrote a simple Hall of Fame speech for Gail that simply goes: “Hi, my name is Gail Kim. Maria Kanellis-Bennett is better than me”.

And just because we can’t have a TNA Hall of Fame ceremony without gifts, Maria pulls out another mockery deed from her bag of trickery by giving Gail a framed picture of Maria with the championship. Suddenly, Allie speaks out to disclose that she too went to the troubles of getting Gail a gift for being the best female wrestler ever!

Unfortunately, we will never know what was inside Allie’s boxed gift as Maria destroyed it before it could even be opened.

Gail has had enough of this sham ceremony and lashes out at Maria, which brings out TNA Chairman Dixie Carter to try and restore some order. Dixie reminds Maria of their conversation last week, where it was said that so long as Maria is holding the Knockouts championship, she can not to be the Leaders of the Knockouts.

Dixie goes on to say that Gail deserves a rightful TNA Hall of Fame ceremony, with another shot at the Knockouts title. A title shot Gail would earn should she win a Knockouts gauntlet match.

Before we get to that Knockouts gauntlet match, we have some unfinished business to attend to within the TNA Tag Team title picture. After relocating Señor Benjamin, resurrecting both Brother Nero and the Vanguard and taking a trip down memory lane, the Hardys are back at the Impact Zone to declare war against the Decay.

From the crowds, Rosemary speaks on behalf of the group, still aiming to make Maxel her own baby, arguing that he deserves better than being part of a broken family. Rosemary builds her case on the team’s ascendancy by reminding the Hardys of what happened to Bram (remember him anyone?) and momentarily Abyss and Crazzy Steve appear in the Impact Zone.

If you thought the #DecayOrDelete was wild than just wait for Bound for Glory, where these two teams will battle it out in a, what Broken Matt Hardy calls, “Great War” match. We get a preview of what is to come from this match when a brawl breaks out ending with the Hardy clan clearing the ring of the Decay with some helpful Twist of Faiths.

Time for Knockouts match of the night:

Kicking off the gauntlet match are Jade and a debuting Laurel Van Ness, who replaces would-be competitor Allie. As the bell rings, fans from the Impact Zone continue to rally behind Allie with an “Allie is better chant”.

Jade and Laurel trade blows until next entrant Sienna comes on down, quickly targeting Jade. Jade manages to fend off Sienna but she is outnumbered when Laurel comes back on the attack.

The double team strategy on Jade continues until fourth entrant Gail runs down the ramp, climbs to the top turnbuckle and takes down Laurel with a flying forearm! All the Knockouts remain in the match, fighting off against each other to avoid any over the top eliminations.

Another minutes passes and out next is Marti Bell who nearly eliminates Gail after connecting a Russian Leg Sweep and tossing her to the ropes.

A surprise entrant from Raquel is next and the Brazilian Knockout takes out the in-ring Heels; landing a shoulder block to both Marti and Laurel relying on a headscissors to take down Sienna.

The clock counts down to our final entrant Madison Rayne, who joins in on the action with remaining Knockouts in the ring as we head to a quick break.

When we return from the break, a chain of finishers lead to the first over the rope elimination, as Laurel gets the better of Madison.

It isn’t long before the second elimination is made, as Marti pushes off Jade from a turnbuckle and kicks her off ring apron. The feisty Marti taunts Jade but then finds herself eliminated as well when Laurel attacks from behind. As if that wasn’t enough, Jade gets some redemption when she lifts Marti up and shoves her back to a ring pole.

Four remaining Knockouts in the ring turn to three remaining Knockouts when Sienna hoists Raquel over her shoulders and tosses her over the top rope for an easy elimination. Sienna wants to eliminate Laurel next but acting ringside manager orders Sienna to stop.

As a prep talk between Sienna and Maria commences, Allie unintentionally eliminates Laurel when she lowers the ring ropes, allowing Gail toss Maria’s newest recruitee away. It comes down to Sienna and Gail, where the winner must be determined by pinfall or submission.

Sienna goes for her AK-47 finisher but Gail reverses it to a sunset flip pin, which Sienna manages to kick out of. When the AK-47 doesn’t work, Sienna tries her Silencer finisher but Gail escapes this too, countering it with an Eat Defeat that puts Sienna away for the three count!

Gail and Maria will meet at Bound for Glory!

Thoughts: After weeks of shorten matches for the Knockouts, it was finally great to see the women get a reasonable amount of time! Granted, the time may not have been given had the stipulation not been a gauntlet match with many participants but it was still a relief to that time was dedicated to the Knockouts this week.

The gauntlet match itself was all right and perhaps better than previous gauntlet matches we’ve come across from. We all knew Gail was going to win this match, regardless if you read the spoilers or not, but the thing I take most from this match were the additions of Raquel and debut of Laurel.

Raquel entrant may have seemed random, since she has pretty much been inactive when it comes to the Knockouts division, but this was a nice way to at least get her feet wet. She certainly impressed me upon her entrance to this match but with a bit more practice/comfort, I think that potential in Raquel can grow.

Laurel acting as Allie’s “replacement” for Maria was one way to introduce this newest Knockout signee, while also gaining some sympathy points for Allie. I was impressed with Laurel’s Xplosion match under her Chelsea and babyface persona, I think working alongside Maria gives Laurel a chance to build more character for fans to become more familiar with her. Let’s just hope we see more one-on-one matches for Laurel to compete in, as opposed to these multi-women matches where she can get lost in the shuffle.

The prior match TNA Hall of Fame ceremony was just great! TNA have been doing a well job in building this feud with Maria and Gail since the start of the year and this was another way to add to it! Maria is exceeding in her Heel character to the point where fans are ready to see Gail finally get her hands on her.

While I still stand by my belief that this feud has enough investment to carry on without the title, I’m still looking forward to seeing how this awaited match will playoff come Bound for Glory.

Speaking of well built up feuds, I’m loving that TNA are allowing both Rosemary and Reby to be involved in this feud. Both teams just compliment one another and are treating fans to something we don’t normally see with these over the top segments.

My only real question to this is what exactly does a “Great War” match mean? Will this be a match that is pre-taped then aired come Bound for Glory; much like the #DeleteOrDecay match? Will it be an actual live no DQ style match? How involved will Rosemary and Reby be? How will the winner be determined? Give us some answers TNA!

What did you think of the Knockouts gauntlet match? Are you excited for Bound for Glory? What do you think the “Great War” will consist of? Let us know in the comments below!

  • Queen Billie Kay

Allie should’ve been in the gauntlet and won to face Maria Allie deserves a rematch.

  • Queen Billie Kay

I NEVER was a fan of Rent Sky something about her I just can’t stand.

    • Deadman TCB

She trimmed the fat from TNA.

      • Queen Billie Kay

        Meaning?.

        • Rhawk

They are clearly referring to Kong, which is unfair to say it like that.

          • Queen Billie Kay

            I 100% agree.

    • Alicia’s wig

she do something to her face?

      • Queen Billie Kay

No. It’s not about her face. Just something about her I just don’t like.

        • Alicia’s wig

I remember Reby a few years ago and her face its looks different now, maybe surgery?

          • Queen Billie Kay

You never know she might had surgery.

    • Gabriella Panajotova

She really fucked up her face. She was so pretty before!

      • Queen Billie Kay

        It’s not about her face.

  • Storm Saywell

OMG I hate TNA so much now. Booooooo

    • Geek God

Right I can’t bring myself to watch it right now it doesn’t deserve to be watched, I’m sad because the women that made me love TNA & tune in every week (Angelina Love, Velvet Sky, Awesome Kong, Tarryn Terell) aren’t there anymore, they are going through a new era just like WWE, except WWE’s new era of women are being handled phenomenally in comparison

      • Storm Saywell

I know right, all these basic, generic characters (and theme songs!) are really driving me mad with TNA. I love Gail, but I’m so over her always being in the title picture. I wish WWE would treat her well, then maybe she would still be with the company.

        • conan_kun

If it’s today WWE and NXT and Gail is at least 10 years younger, they may treat her well, especially they make Irish Becky as first Smackdown Women’s Champ.

          • Woman

Ehh age never mattered in WWE’s womens division. That’s always something you fans wanted to believe. They kept Ivory and Victoria until they were almost 40 or over.

          • Raekon

It always mattered when it was about signing someone to the Company. The only exception they made was Kong because of her popularity.

          • Woman

Asuka was signed in her 30’s. Charlotte was close to turning 30 and I’m sure there are several more examples.

          • Raekon

Asuka was and still is as famous as kong was. When someone is that well known in the Wrestling world and get’s a lot of recognition for being a star then they are a exception. Charlotte is a Flair so we both know why she got signed. Eva was 28 or 29 which is still ok for them too. I think the Limit they set was 30 to 32 max. Unless you are “Special” (kid of a employ of the Company like in Charlotte case) or a known Star like Kong and Asuka. Though Charlotte was within the Limit they had set anyway. At least that’s what they were going with Prior to the “Evolution”. Would be great if they throw this Limitation out of the window aswell though cause there are several great female Talents which are in their mid or late 30s but still great in the ring.

          • Francisco Baguer

I doubt they would want her back. Remember Gail walked out on them when she eliminated herself & quit. WWE barely doesn’t care about her. You got Becky & Sasha in that locker room; you think for one second they are going to laid down for Gail? No, because they don’t want to get buried like all of Gail’ opponents.

          • Francisco Baguer

I doubt they would want her back. Remember Gail walked out on them when she eliminated herself in a battle royal & quit. WWE really doesn’t care about her. You got Becky & Sasha in that locker room; you think for one second they are going to laid down for Gail?

          • Nicola Byrne

What is Becky being Irish got to do with anything? that is border line Racist.

          • Gabriella Panajotova

            Not everything offensive is racist.

          • Nicola Byrne

But it was borderline racist. I take it you’re not Irish. Why is the fact Becky being Irish got to do with her being the first SD women’s champ. It got nothing to do with with her wrestling ability she connect extremely well with the WWE Fans and can out wrestle majority of the American wwe women’s division

          • Gabriella Panajotova

I am white. Irish people are white. If we go by the logic I can pretty much assess whether it’s racist or not.

WWE generally doesn’t treat well foreigners this is what I think the commentor meant. And yes, in that sense Becky is a special occasion.

      • Gail-Rollins

You watched TNA for Velvet Sky? I mean I guess you could watch cheap porn instead of wrestling if that’s the effect you want..

        • Geek God

          ?????

  • FaBuLoUs CaRmElLa FaN

That gauntlet was pretty bad I mean Chelsea botched like 3 times especially that neckbreaker but hey TNA main 3 is Gail Maria and Allie just focus on them 3

    • Deadman TCB

Shes just had a kid, and they don’t want her back.

      • FaBuLoUs CaRmElLa FaN

Lol you’re so funny I mean Brooke probably doesn’t want them back but TNA will definitely offer Brooke back I mean Brooke Was 1 of the most over women in TNA history and TNA would be stupid not to offer her back I mean how can you say they will offer raquel Chelsea and Brandi but they don’t want Brooke lol you are such a TNA mark

        • Rhawk

‘Brooke Was 1 of the most over women in TNA history’
I mean I liked her time in TNA, but saying this is untrue.

          • FaBuLoUs CaRmElLa FaN

really? Go back and watch her 2015 run

          • Rhawk

I’m not saying she wasn’t over nor was I disrespecting her, I’m just saying she wasn’t ‘one of the most over’. She was liked, but not to the point of getting monster reactions.

          • FaBuLoUs CaRmElLa FaN

It’s a 500 person building nobody can get monster reactions

          • Rhawk

Okay you got me there. =-P
But not to reply to each message you made I’ll make one.
I’m not saying she wasn’t a star, she was. People liked her well enough and I’m sure she’d get as much of a reaction if she were to return. But to say she was more over than Gail or Velvet (whether we like them or not) is being a little bit silly.

          • FaBuLoUs CaRmElLa FaN

I never said Brooke was the most over I said she’s 1 of them most over

          • FaBuLoUs CaRmElLa FaN

Everytime Brooke and Gail fought the crowd was way more behind Brooke even when they was both faces

          • FaBuLoUs CaRmElLa FaN

            She was a star

          • FaBuLoUs CaRmElLa FaN

Who was more over than her in 2015 I’ll be waiting….

        • Deadman TCB

This is the same guy who has dozen’s of accounts fanning over Brooke.

          • FaBuLoUs CaRmElLa FaN

Lol you’re funny I have 1 account I don’t think you can have 2 accounts

    • limfox

mess – can you direct me to the time stamps? I don’t feel like sitting through that 13 min mess to catch her botches lmaooo

  • When Maria started clapping using Allie’s hands, Allie almost started laughing lol Maria is one of my favourite heels ever. She really shines as a heel

  • Queen Billie Kay

I don’t care who disagrees with this, Maria has aweful mic skills.

    • Blissed Off

Ikr, she’s so annoying on the mic

      • Queen Billie Kay

        Exactly.

      • Deadman TCB

        Because she’s a heel dumbass.

        • Blissed Off

umm.. i don’t feel her as a heel tbh, it’s not her character. She’s just annoying on the mic, for me at least. Charlotte (for example) is heel, her mic work makes her heel too, but she’s not annoying.

    • Woman

      She’s one of the best.

    • Gail-Rollins

She is a good talker, she just has really annoying mannerisms. I guess that works for her as heel though.

      • Queen Billie Kay

I agree she has annoying mannerisms.

  • Nicola Byrne

That gauntlet was awful. I would love to have seen some other knockout get a bound for glory match this will be Gail 3rd in championship match in 4 years. I hope Allie screws Gail out of the title. Since Brooke ended Taryn reign last June there have been 6 title change is 15 months

    • FaBuLoUs CaRmElLa FaN

And that’s with Gail having a 232 day reign

      • Nicola Byrne

Brooke lasted only 30 days then went into Gails 232 days all the others were less than 90 days. If Gail wins and I wouldn’t bet against it she will surpass Taryns reign. 295 or 301 days

        • FaBuLoUs CaRmElLa FaN

          Brooke = 34 days
          Gail = 232 days
          Jade = 87 days
          Sienna = 61 days
Allie = 1 day (1 week on tv)
Maria will be champ 50 days at BFG

        • FaBuLoUs CaRmElLa FaN

I mean at this point in the division I wouldn’t mind Gail being champ cuz she is now completely head and shoulders better than all others I mean when Kong Angelina Brooke and Taryn was there they at least was ok or better in the ring (all matter of opinion) and all them was over its only 3 current women over and 2 of them rarely wrestle

    • Gail-Rollins

Yeah let’s have Allie go heel when she’s so over as a babyface right now. That would be really smart booking..

      • Nicola Byrne

Honestly I want to see something other than Gail win. Bring back wrestler getting pantsed or Lacey Von Erick anything but another gay 200+ day reign as champ

        • Deadman TCB

          Lacey Von Erich jesus christ.

          • Nicola Byrne

I KNOW. I just sick to death of Gail as Knockouts for another year or 2.

  • GailKimStan

Diva Dirt should bring back that thing where readers could suggest alternative themes for a certain wrestler.
It would be fun to do that with pretty much all the knockouts and then tag them on twitter hoping someone sees it and realises that they need to fucking change those generic themes.

    • Rhawk

You say this as if a mainstream promotion would actually care about the opinions of fans…

      • GailKimStan

I was just suggesting something fun to do, obviously it’s not gonna suddenly change everything

  • Rhawk

The match was not as bad as people here are making it out to be. Sure it could have been better, but all women did fine. Shame it was used as a way to have Gail win, but they have set up Gail VS Maria for so long that it was inevitable.

Hopefully after Bound For Glory they can re-haul the whole division and do something fresh with it. That or wait until WWE or Sinclair buys out TNA like recent reports have indicated.

    • Deadman TCB

Meltzer rebuffed them, WWE are not itnerested.

  • Femme Fatale Venus Fly

Great segment, great match, great performances from Raquel and Laurel. So much excitement from me going into Bound For Glory. I cannot wait!

  • hitesh khanna

I enjoyed this match.. I was excited to see raquel.. fresh breathe of air!!

  • AsaAkira #wickedBARBIE

    That was awful lol

    • conan_kun

At least better than Raw woman division.

      • Eliseo Reyes

        Smackdown Women’s Division>Raw Women’s Division>TNA Knockout’s Division> NXT Women’s Division?

        • Francisco Baguer

Smackdown Womens Divison> Stardom> NXT Womens Divison> Raw Womens Divison> TNA

          • StopTheHate

            SD>RAW>NXT>TNA

        • Gail-Rollins

Are you talking talent or booking?

          Talent:
          Raw > TNA > Smackdown > NXT

          Booking:
          Raw/Smackdown > NXT > TNA

Just because Smackdown features it’s whole women’s roster well, doesn’t mean it’s better than Raw. Raw is building up stars, while Smackdown is still trying to find out who it’s stars are..

Also my justification of ranking TNA as more talented than Smackdown (because I know someone will ask) is because I think Smackdown has more “weak links” than TNA does in their division so that brings its score down as a whole). And those said weaker girls get featured more than TNA’s weaker girls.

          • Eliseo Reyes

Can’t really utilize talent, if they aren’t implemented into storylines. That’s the whole point of people like Sasha Banks, Charlotte, and Bayley got over in the first place. They used storylines and characters to be where they are at. Sadly, the only reason why i’m saying Smackdown Women’s Division is better than raw is because smackdown is trying to establish every women wrestler as much as they can. Whereas on RAW, there is no direction. Sure the Woman there have star power and a big advantage over the women on Smackdown, but they can’t go anywhere without being built up, and that means them being in storylines. Storylines will not only make them much more unique, but it will elevate them to the point where fans care for them.

Raw atm is just using the star power that the women have to built them up, and that’s only going to them so far, before the fans start to become bored of them. Smackdown on the other hand, is not only exposing the Woman wrestlers, but they are giving them significance, so if they were to take time off from storylines, that the fans would still be invested on them, by the time they return. Iono, maybe it’s just me.

At the end of the day, The Woman of Smackdown are showing that they are just as hungry as the Raw Woman. They are having good matches, and they want to show the world what they are capable off. They are the underdogs that we once believed weren’t going to thrive when the draft split came up. And 2 months later we’re here and seeing the evolution of women, who fans didn’t care to even see or react to with their matches, to now having fans invested in the product they are currently delivering.

All in all, The Woman both on Raw and Smackdown are doing fantastic with what they being given. We just need to see how things will develop once we get Woman like Paige (Raw), Emma(Raw), and Tamina(Smackdown), back in the road.

          • Gail-Rollins

I don’t know, to me Smackdown so far has just been “let’s throw them all out there and see who sinks or swims”. The only two to really get actual storylines or character development have been Eva & Carmella (who basically took Eva’s place while she while she’s been suspended).

It’s too reminiscent of the 2009-2011 “Diva era” where they try to put too many women out at one time instead of breaking it down into different segments. Given that’s going to be harder on a two hour show, but maybe we’ll get more 1 on 1 scenarios now that we have the title. Obviously all of the “every woman deserves to have the spotlight” people like how it is now, but it’s not my cup of tea. I prefer Raw to where a select few at a time are being made into stars. (Obviously it should rotate though) and hopefully it will with Paige & Emma back now.

          • Francisco Baguer

At least Smackdown isn’t having them compete in 2 minute piss breaks. Honestly Smackdown is better than Raw because it has a good roster & better booking. On Raw its just 3 women & everyone else is on the back burner. Its either Bayley, Charlotte, or Sasha & everyone else didn’t matter. On Smackdown, everyone gets a chance to shine, they are booked to be on equal footing, & none of them are jobbers.

          • Gabriella Panajotova

            Neither does RAW.

      • AsaAkira #wickedBARBIE

They have Gail/Maria with everyone in the background, excluding Allie. RAW is miles ahead of this mess.

      • Gabriella Panajotova

Where? Both RAW and SD have been providing consistently good product while utilising most girls from both divisions.

  • Queen of Spark

I’m just excited for Gail vs Maria to FINALLY happen, then it will be Allie vs Maria! So much potential for both feuds.

I’m giving Reby a chance this time, but Rosemary will keep shining as usual.

  • conan_kun
    • Francisco Baguer

Thank goodness she went to Japan & worked for Stardom because she might have been ruined by WWE.

    • Gail-Rollins

Like anybody other than Brie would ever hit that while he had the beard/hair lolz

  • StopTheHate

This is a little off topic but I’m I the only 1 who is surprised that Brooke Hogan , Karen Jarrett or Dixie Carter was never knockouts champ

    • Gail-Rollins

I think I remember Gail saying in an interview before that Brooke Hogan had done a little bit of training but that it never worked out for whatever reason.

      • StopTheHate

Yea it seems like something hogan would book

  • Woman

Uhh that Twist of Fate. Lita is rolling in her bed.

  • Gail-Rollins

Ready for Maria’s role in the Knockouts division to be over. This past year has been so bad. Gail needs to go heel after BFG and start building up Allie.

    • Francisco Baguer

You know what thats good point. I honestly think the only way I can tolerate Gail is if she turns heel. Fans are clearly cheering Allie & are behind her so why not do a Gail Heel Turn & make Allie top babyface? Gail really needs a heel turn & change up her gimmick.

      • Gail-Rollins

The thing about Gail as a babyface is she really needs a heel to work with who is either a monster type, or someone that can go at the level she can (Angelina, Madison, Tara, etc). Which are few and far between. Girls like Jade, Sienna, Chelsea, etc are good, but not experienced enough to lead a match. At least not at the level that the Knockouts had been used to competing at.

Gail is a ring general. As a heel she can dictate the match, and that’s where she’s at her best. Being a technical master, and making these newer girls look like stars. Look what she did for Taryn & Brooke. And even Madison had the best match of her career with Gail as the heel. The division is in desperate need of new stars, and as a heel Gail can help make them. As a babyface, she’s not going to make any new stars, because nobody is going to “get to that level” with her in that spot.

  • Gato_wiska

I don’t like Maria but I wanted her to retain because I am so sick of Hot Potato reigns.

    • StopTheHate

I just don’t like people getting mad when their fav has a short reign but when it happens to somebody they don’t like its “ok” or “understandable”

    • Gail-Rollins

Let’s be real. The belt is only on her to add more depth to the Gail/Maria feud (which already had enough depth). Maria is not going to wrestle enough to warrant a long reign.

      • StopTheHate

Brooke had a 1 month reign people and people say “it’s ok at least she had it” or they say a short reign is still a Reign yea but if Naomi won the SD belt and then lost Nikki Bella 1 month later this place would explode

          Relevance to my comment?

          • StopTheHate

We was talking about short title reigns

      • Gato_wiska

she is a Heel, she can use cheating to make the reign last longer. I just want the trend of hot potato reigns to end. Have Maria defend it against Jade,Madison Rayne, A fatal fourway and eventually againts Ally in a span of 3 months. TNA KO’s needed to have a long championship reigns.

        • Gail-Rollins

Yeah lets see how many credible matches we get out of that scenario. I’d be fine with her keeping the belt at BFG, but not with her having some super long reign if she can’t wrestle. We’ll see how she does..

  • Victoria&Melina19

I haven’t watched TNA properly in like 3 years only small bits of it. So Maria and Gail Kim at BFG. I would want Maria to retain only cos I don’t like the how the belt passes around constantly plus every time I see TNA there’s a new champ lol The way Maria was in WWE I could never imagine her as a heel.

I think the Knockouts division started to get dead when Hogan came along tho.

  • Juan

Allie!!! Rosemary!!! I can’t wait for those two to finally feud!

I like how Jade and Marti still hate each other! Please don’t drop that TNA!

Gail Kim! Hopefully she can pull a good match out of Maria! Please!! The KO’s depend on it!

Laurel and Raquel are newbies but they’re progressing really well!

    • Rhawk

Watch them be best friends after Bound For Glory… knowing TNA, it wouldn’t put it past them.

Gail is just holding back the division at this point being in the spotlight all the time like this. She should just win the title at Bound For Glory and retire champion to end it at that. The Knockouts division finally has what it has been lacking for years and that is a fresh roster not consisting of former WWE Divas or returning Knockouts who have been gone for less than a year. I love Madison and I love that she’s putting girls over but I feel maybe she should just stick to a backstage role because I can’t bear see her lose like that especially when she’s way more entertaining than Gail to me in general even if Gail is the better wrestler. Maria was entertaining for a hot minute but after Bound For Glory I really hope I don’t see her or Gail in the division. I am ready for the new girls like Allie who is really entertaining, Jade, Rosemary who really needs to be involved more with the Knockouts,Sienna who has been booked poorly and Laurel to shine. Raquel and Marti are the not that competent in the ring but they should get their chance too. I would also love if TNA bring back Brittany since we didn’t see much of her and WWE don’t seem interested in signing her or even Havok.

    • Gail-Rollins

Yeah because every match we’ve seen without Gail over the past year has been so good LOL

      • Random Name

I don’t even watch the matches not regularly at least because I am not invested in the storylines, especially when Gail is in them because she has become very stale. It’s not all about the matches. And I’m sure once they let Allie wrestle and truly let Jade shine they will have good matches because they’re great wrestlers. Sienna too. Laurel is also good for a rookie and can have good matches.

  • Mark

Wow. They completely killed Allie’s momentum. And the match was awful. Dixie Carter really needs to stay off television. The sight of her really annoys me.

    • Deadman TCB

How? Allie will do something pretty big at the PPV.

    • Ace

Allie is the most over Knockout now they haven’t killed anything…

Maria is actually one of the best heels I’ve ever seen and one of the best in actuality. I really like Charlotte as heel, everything about her is amazing but while she exceeds at her work WWE hardly do things like TNA is doing with Maria. Everything about Maria is controversial, from her having power over the knockouts (that always have been stupid), to her knockouts title without really debuting on the ring. Her heel character has done a lot to keep some type of control and instead of being part of a trio or something she has her peasants. I still don’t know what she uses to convince them to work for her but it works. Her mic skills have done everything for her and now we are just waiting for her to have her first match, she can’t run away for ever.

  • chrissi calvert

Reby Sky just needs to stay away from a ring. That Twist of Fate was probably the worst I’ve ever seen.

Gail vs Maria was always going to happen. Said it to one of my friends 6 months ago. Think Gail will win, but not before Maria plays dirty and Allie turns on her

  • Deadman TCB

Reby/Rosemary’s feud gets more violent next week.

  • limfox

That thumbnail of Gail and Maria staring each other down slays tbh

  • PoisonFelino #Watermelondrea

I have mixed feelings about this.

Had this match been booked a few months ago(Yes, I know they were supposed to face at the previous PPV) I would have been super excited for it. The build up was amazing and I just wanted to see Gail finally get one over on Maria and put her in her place.
Sadly ever since they shifted the fued to Maria vs Dixie, Gail has seemed more like an afterthought in this.

Even that poorly booked Gail vs The Knockouts didn’t do anything for me.

With the recent booking Allie was built up immensely so many ppl were excited to see Allie face Maria instead.
With Gail being somewhat of Allie’s mentor.
This just kinda killed all the momentum the KO division had for me.

I hope they find a way to make the build up for the match more exciting.

At this point, Gail could carry a carrot to a good match so I’m not doubting that the match will be entertaining.
If Gail wins the belt it would be a nice feel good moment for Gail.
But I’m not sure where they could go after that.

If Maria retains, there’s no reason for them to have that match at BFG to begin with tbh. Usually there has to be a memorable end to in which the face finally gets payback in such a fued.

Gail is getting close to becoming the Natalya of the TNA to me.
Of course, Gail is a lot more successful in her company than Natalya will ever be in WWE. The similarity comes from the fact that both are phenomenal workers…but not really that charismatic or great talkers (imo).

In that sense I expect Maria and Gail to work great with each other as Maria has the charisma and mic skills, while Gail can carry anyone through a decent match.

    • Ace

Personally I think the match could end being a sleeper on the PPV if done properly. Obviously Maria isn’t the best in the ring but like you mentioned she has the things that Gail doesn’t do well at times so they can kinda counter act each other in a sense.

  • TheBoss

-Maria is so unlikeable. She seems like an entitled, stuck up person in real life. I guess she’s doing her job well as a heel.
-I like Gail but why does she need ANOTHER title shot?
-Also, it was funny seeing Chelsea Green and Gabi in the same ring considering they were both on the same season of Tough Enough.
-I really like Rosemary. She’s phenomenal on the mic. WWE needs a character like her bc most of their Superstars are so bland rn.
-I can’t wait till Brandi makes her debut. It’ll be interesting to see how she fits in.

    • Ace

In real life Maria is nothing like her TV character lol…

      • TheBoss

I mean I want to believe that but there are so many examples of her seeming like she’s a brat. During the Bellas fiasco in 2013 when she was accusing them of preventing her return without any proof that they did seemed really childish. On Celebrity Apprentice in 2010 she seemed really arrogant as well. When Kelly Kelly made her return match in 2012 (her last match), Maria was bashing her on a podcast because she’s always hated Kelly. There are countless other examples too. Maria used to be my favorite in WWE in 2009/early 2010 but seeing how rude she is in real life, I don’t know if I wanna be a fan of hers anymore.

        • Ace

You have to separate real life from TV shows lol I’ve personally met her once at the TNA tapings she is one of the sweetest people you’ll meet. She’s an actress/wrestler more then anything and she states that various times on her social accounts.
