WWE TLC in Review: Somebody Call Their Mamas! Naomi Gets a Title Match While AJ Impacts Another

Greetings readers! If you were expecting an upbeat, sunshine and rainbows type of redux then you definitely came to the wrong place. TLC hasn’t even started yet and I’m already over it. That’s pretty bad, right? I think it has a lot to do with the fact I absolutely hate Christmas and the match I’m going to have to watch is a Santa’s Little Helper Battle Royal. Maybe it’s due to the fact my life is completely in shambles right now and my hormones are all over the place? Whatever the case is, I’m irritated and watching a Bridezillas marathon. At this rate, with my biological clock ticking, I’ll never even get a chance to be a Bridezilla. I’ll never be a bride. I’ll never have a baby. I’ll never write a best selling novel. I’ll never cheat on my husband with Prince Dawlf. My life is falling apart right before my eyes.

And the saddest part of this entire opening is the fact I’m so miserable when I have absolutely no reason to be.

I want to take this time to push my problems aside, wrestling aside, and everything else aside and look at something that’s completely serious. On Friday, one of the greatest tragedies this country has ever seen took place in Newtown, Connecticut. Innocent children and a few brave teachers lost their lives in a disgusting act of violence. When things like that happen, it really opens your eyes to what’s really important in life. No place is safe and every day could be your last. You never know. No matter what is going on in your life, and no matter how bad you truly think you have it, there is always someone out there who is in a worse position than you. Those parents, friends, and families of the victims will never get their loved one back and that is so incredibly sad to me I feel like crying as I type this. Their holiday season will never be the same and I can only hope and pray that one day they heal from this and try to move on, while always keeping their loved one alive in their hearts. Rest in peace to those precious angels and those brave teachers and faculty members that lost their lives. God bless each and every one of you.

It’s amazing how quickly life can change.

All that aside, and I do appreciate having this sort of outlet to get things off my chest, let’s focus on the match and TLC.

In addition to the battle royal, a few Slammy Awards were revealed. Thanks to Naomi and Cameron, Bodus Clay took home Dancer of the Year (robbing Rosa Mendes in the process) and the precious Diva of the Year Slammy went to…

Drum roll please!

AJ Lee!

CONGRATULATIONS AJ!!! It’s quite hard to argue against AJ for Diva of the Year. She’s probably had one of the greatest Diva years of all time. There’s a great argument in there for Eve as well, but overall, she hasn’t been pushed as much as AJ. I’m very happy that for once, the Slammy went to the right person.

The Battle Royal is next, with Eve Torres providing commentary. She’s also in ring gear, which means the winner of the match will face her later on tonight for the championship. Participating in this match are the following Divas; Kaitlyn, Naomi, Cameron, Layla, Tamina, Rosa, Aksana, Natalya, and Alicia Fox. As all of you saw in the Diva Dirt predictions, Naomi seems to be the popular choice for winner. Let’s see how this all shakes out.

Oh my God. I really can’t believe Naomi just won thing. I’m literally sitting here and shaking my head. Of all possible scenarios, that’s the one the WWE goes with. Geez. We’ll come back to this.

There were a few notable highlights in the match. Rosa was eliminated first which surprises no one. Naomi and Cameron had some nice double team moves, and it was surprising to see Natalya and Tamina work together for a couple of seconds. Eve didn’t sparkle on commentary as much as she usually does, but when it came down to Kaitlyn versus Naomi, I loved how she got up to watch the action. Naomi’s toe-touch leap over Kaitlyn was brilliant and beautiful, and Eve affecting the end of the match doesn’t surprise me. It was her knock to Kaitlyn’s kisser that cost the powerful blond another chance to capture the Divas Championship. Naomi finally gets her chance to shine in competition.

Ho hum.

I believe that Naomi absolutely needs to be a wrestler instead of some background dancer, but I don’t think she should have won this battle royal. Most fans who don’t know NXT or FCW exist think Naomi is just some random dancer. It doesn’t make sense for her to all of a sudden be thrown into a match, let alone win a battle royal for number one contendership. I see a lot of confused people and rightfully so. If they were going to let both Naomi and Cameron wrestle, then they should have eased them into those roles. It’s just senseless booking to have this happen at this particular moment.

That’s probably going to piss a lot of you off, but hey, it’s only my opinion. I’m not bashing Naomi. Anyone with half a brain (or access to the Internet) knows that she is one of the most gifted Divas on the roster. She’s unique, different, athletic, beautiful… I could go on. But she’s not been given any chance to show us what she has except this particul battle royal. That’s why it just doesn’t make sense to have her win it. I have no doubt that she’s going to put on one hell of a match with Eve. If it’s given a decent amount of time, it could be the best televised match of the year.

But that doesn’t stop it from being absolutely, one-hundred percent pointless.

Overall, it was a pretty decent battle royal. Normally I try and erase them from my mind because they’re so awful but I didn’t mind this one. The stupid Christmas costumes got on my nerves, but meh. I’m truly a Grinch this time of year, not to mention just miserable anyway. The action was nice, it was given more time than I thought, and other than the confusing outcome, I guess I can’t complain. At least we’re going to get something new and different. Not my fault I’m not that excited.

Order of Elimination:
1: Rosa Mendes
2: Cameron
3: Alicia Fox
4: Aksana
5: Layla
6: Natalya
7: Tamina
8: Kaitlyn

Holy crap… why oh why does this Divas match have to happen now?

In case you’re not watching live, Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, Roman Reins, Kane, Daniel Bryan, and Roidback just put on one hell of a show. Holy crap. It’s so wrong that Naomi and Eve have to follow this.

Short match given the two girls that were competing in it, but not surprising when they have to waste our lives with 3MB and two stupid face turns for two brilliant heels. Nonetheless, the match itself was pretty hit or miss. It had good spots, and it had a botch, and a lackluster ending. I think it came off as rushed, a bit sloppy in pieces, but I do appreciate how it was put together. It gave Naomi a chance to show off just a little bit of what she could potentially bring to the Divas division should she finally be given a chance to go full-time. She had some ring rust, that was plain as day, but she’s already so far ahead of most of her peers that it almost doesn’t matter.

Eve didn’t have the chemistry with Naomi that I was hoping she would have, but I think if there’s ever a chance for another encounter it will be much better. I think they were so focused on showing off Naomi, that things just didn’t gel like it needed it too. Like I alluded to earlier, Naomi needs to be eased into the role of a wrestler, not given a huge win and a title match. I’m just glad she didn’t win the championship. It would have been terrible to give her a championship just like that. As far as the ending goes, eh. Naomi kind of had a slip up and Eve won cleanly, which doesn’t really leave anything open, does it?

Out of the two, I would have to say that I preferred the battle royal to the actual title match. I liked seeing Kaitlyn and Naomi face off again. It brought me back to the glory days of NXT and it was a lot of fun. There’s not much else I have to say.

To top all of that off, we get an AJ sighting.

AJ’s in her John Cena gear and she seems really excited for whatever reason. It’s probably because she’s the new Diva of the Year, heck yeah! Either way, it’s just a little exchange between cute, adorable, giggly AJ and SuperMan Cena. He tells her not to thank him yet… thank him after he takes what Prince Dawlf holds so near and dear.

It better not happen. That’s all I have to say.

That segment, no doubt, leads me to believe that AJ is going to have some sort of role in the main event, and sure enough, turns out I was right.

I know you people love how I constantly switch back and forth between past and present tense…

First let me say what an amazing match between Prince Dawlf and Superman. They both came off looking like a million bucks and I thought I was going to die when Cena lifted Dawlf and the ladder up at the same time. Geez. When Queen Vickie Guerrero came out to rescue our beloved Prince Dawlf, my heart skipped a beat. We all knew SAWDOTY AJ wouldn’t be far behind. As Vickie readied herself to hit Superman with a steel chair, AJ came running out. Queen Vickie tried to take AJ’s head off with said chair, but AJ dodged and got the better of our Queen.

The catfight was sloppy, but who cares? AJ mimicking Cena was cute, but when is she not adorable? I certainly thought she was the most precious person ever when she pushed John Cena and that ladder over. Prince Dawlf kept his beloved briefcase and I can go to sleep knowing that the wrestling side of me is heaving a sigh of relief.

TLC was a great pay-per-view and a nice way to cap off the shows for 2012. We still have Raw, SmackDown, and Tribute to the Troops, but you guys know what I mean. It’s definitely been an interesting year, Diva-wise, for the company. So many hits, but so many more misses. I’m so fascinated to see who will emerge as Eve’s next contender. I’m curious to see if they’re going to regulate Naomi back to a dancer, or have her break away from Cameron and Brodus having seen what she can do? Will Kaitlyn get a chance to shine come 2013? And what is going to be AJ’s next move? There’s a lot of questions. There’s not many answer. That’s a good thing.

Another good thing is every one who stops in and reads these reduxes. Speaking for all of us, we work hard on what we do, and speaking just for myself, I’m grateful that people even read what I write. I’m also thankful for everyone who has stuck with me, for this site, and for everyone involved with it. I’m not that much of a Grinch that I can’t be thankful for what I have. As I said in the opening, no amount of heart break and personal pain can stack up to what other people around the world are dealing with. I might not celebrate it, but I hope every one of you have a Merry Christmas and a beautiful New Year. And for those of you who celebrate other things, I wish all of you the best for your holiday seasons.

Take care. Until next time… Cryssi out!

Naomi !!!! <3 She is a true wrestler!! I really hope that her storyline with Eve will last longer than one night …

  • Nostalgia

You’re really depressed here lately Cryssi and it shows. You’re starting to downplay everything and it’s eh. Yes the title match was rushed but I’m looking at the positives. We had two divas matches last night, the battle royal wasn’t just hair grabbing and everyone looking confused. I felt it was a great night for the divas. And even tho they got that spot on the card after the TLC match Naomi STILL managed to draw legit reactions from the crowd

    • Mr_Adone

Anybody going into a match doing all kinds of flips & splits will get a reaction. And there in Brooklyn Ny. Ny is the place for wrestling

      • hado

It doesn’t matter @MR_Adone, she still got a reaction after a VERY good match, which would be hard for anyone to do that’s not in the main event. Naomi still got the crowd involved.

  • Mr_Adone

U know what, I went into this match expecting something amazing from naomi just bcause of tge rave reviews that some of yall wrote. Thdn I watched the match… If there was ever a time to say a diva is over rated now would be it. It wasnt bad but ppl are just making it out to be this grwat match. It was just so/so. I agree with cryssi that it seemed that they wanted to put a focus on naomi which is why eve did so little but also this woman has an injury so all tge bashing is kinda idiotic. & im kmsl at the ppl saying eve reign is boring or tgat she drug naomi down. Some of those comments last nught were epic fails

  • http://www.youtube.com/user/xFranciscoMvsx?feature=mhee Francisco

awww thanks Crissy, i wish you a merry christmas and happy new year aswell ! Lets hope 2013 is the year the diva division is reborn ! <3

I have to disagree with you here. 2012 had one of the greatest Diva storylines, that being Kaitlyn vs Eve vs Layla. It’s way better than we had it in 2011, the actual career lows for the Divas.

  • WWFoverWWE

I view the title match as just a small taste of what Naomi has in store for us. She didn’t show everything she had, but she did leave an impression that made people think “wow what else can this girl do?” so overall, the message was delivered and that’s Naomi being a hidden talent on the roster.

Eve didn’t do much which I guess had to do with her injuries but this is not what I want to see from her every match where she does nothing and then grabs the win.

I hope Naomi wrestles tonight on Raw. I’ll faint if they continue Eve/Kaitlyn.

This match was nothing special, the Aksana vs Kaitlyn on Smackdown was much better because it had psycology, while in this match the only thing that Naomi does is flips, flips and more flips, and almost no wrestling, not to say that her punches are very weak!

    • WWFoverWWE

Aksana vs Kaitlyn on Smackdown was much better? BYE!

      • BAD KHARMA

Yes because like I said it had psycology, it wasnt a flip & split fest!

        • WWFoverWWE

If you call a match with mostly headlocks with fake crowd reactions dubbed in a great match, then I can’t help you.

        • BAD KHARMA

Who the hell talked about the crowd? And form your comments I can see you understand nothing about psycology! This is a match not a competition to see who can jump higer and do more flips!

        • WWFoverWWE

And I can see you understand nothing about the entertainment factor. No one wants to see a match where headlocks take up 90% of it. It also shows lack of effort from the wrestlers since headlocks are easy to apply.

This is world wrestling ENTERTAINMENT…which means give us entertainment. And the Aksana/kaitlyn match having psycology is nothing but your opinion…most would disagree.

        • BAD KHARMA

Well, lets not argue about it anymore, everyone has their likes right, and I´m sick of discussions on this site, so lets be friends!

        • WWFoverWWE

          okay xD

    • Goodvibes

Wow you have to be kidding me, your entitled to your opinion but Naomi VS Eve was a hell of a lot more entertaining than anything Aksana or Kaitlyn have done in the ring in the last year.

      • 09DHK

    • http://youtube.com/kristalmelinafan kristalmelinafan

Psychology? Lmao stupid ass, where was the psychology at play? Was the headlock a mental maneuver? Lol no it wasn’t lmao.

      • Choko

One headlock the entire match is not ring psychology.

In ring psychology is working the crowd during the match, the ability of being able to tell a story within the match. Doing things or moves in the match in a way that would seem logical, not just doing a move just for the sake of doing a move. Naomi and Eve told a better story in the ring than Kaitlyn and Aksana.

        • Raekon

To all of you that are saying there was no psychology involved, you should really rewatch and rethink.

Both Aksana and Kaitlyn had a feud going on and headlock or not, Aksana almost took Kaitlyns head off so it wasn’t just a simple headlock.

As example, check the spot in which Kaitlyn wants to go for the ropes and how Aksana helds her back. At that moment you think she will seperate her head from her body.

Then she screams TAP OUT the whole time because she want’s this win and because she knows that the head is the weakest spot when it comes to Kaitlyn.

I agree that they used the headlock way too long BUT the story and psychology played a part in the whole thing.

Also agree with Bad Kharma partially cause I also didn’t found the Naomi vs Eve match THAT entertaining.

Definately not a ppv match, rather a regular one.

90% of the match was Naomi doings flashy flips, she botched her corner spot like 99% of the time and her hits were mostly very weak.

Anyway, at least we got something refreshing and unpredictable in the battle royal, and the divas got to be in the preshow and main show which is a improvement.

        • Choko

          Oh please, Raekon.

Don’t even get involved. You always support divas like Rosa, Aksana and Audrey.

    • Getdownwithachola

What’s up with wrestling fans having weird/dumb opinions like that???

  • MickieJamesluvslave

Good for Naomi but her sudden appearance as a wrestler and earning a same day title shot just shows how little the E cares for the divas title. It was rushed and lacked any kind of drama for the match. Unless Eve hittine kaitlyn with the belt continues that feud the whole thing was a waste.Or why niot have kaitlyn interfere to help naomi? Story progression.
Not surprised AJ caused Cena, saw that one coming. Now what is the big question

  • Lily

Naomi carried Kaitlyn and Aksana all through out NXT3 …. she has what it takes and is what people make her out to be.

Naomi got amazing comments from her performance in a house show with Natalya ….being dubbed one of the best Diva matches of this year.

Naomi vs. AJ was the dubbed the best DIva match of 2010.

    I think Naomi is everything.

  • redsandman99

Naomi and Eve were put in a tough spot and if it weren’t for the stupid 3MB crap they probably would have gotten more time. The chemistry wasn’t quite there but it could be like it was with Eve and Beth and that the chemistry needs to develop over a few matches. I believe they only wrestled each other once in FCW in a tag match. That being said, Naomi still got to show some of her athleticism and the crowd reacted to Naomi which was awesome. I liked the battle royal too and Eve helping to cost Kaitlyn the match totally made sense, since Kaitlyn nearly had her beat at Survivor Series.

As for AJ, she really did look cute as hell doing Cena’s move. The actual turn on Cena isn’t a surprise though I’m not sure if I would say she’s a heel just yet. I mean, she pushed Punk through a table and was proposing to him the next week. We’ll have to see how tonight turns out.

    • marcum1234

It looked like there were some new moves Naomi was trying to pull of and that made it look a little messy, but they were good looking once she started moving. The match was just putting Naomi on a pedestal saying “look what i can do”, which is fine since she is a great competitor, but she needs to have a legit match to really showcase her talents.

      • redsandman99

Hopefully she starts wrestling more on Raw and Smackdown now and her talents can be further showcased. The main things that really looked kind of iffy to me was the booty call, which i couldn’t tell if Eve wasn’t quite in position and Naomi had to stop herself or if Naomi just hesitated (it looks better when she irish whips her opponent and they go into it anyway). And she about didn’t make it over the turnbuckle when she flew into Eve towards the end. Almost not enough momentum there. Still, people are definitely talking about her in a good way which is awesome.

    • http://youtube.com/kristalmelinafan kristalmelinafan

They had plenty of time, Cena and Dolph match was stretched because their match was suppose to end along time ago. You can tell at the spots they did they didn’t know what else to do after the hurricanrana into the table. They was just punching each other because they had soooo much time. WWE just didn’t want the divas to have time.

      • Wolverine

Its the main event, ofcourse it needed the time it got besides you should be blaming 3MB’s match and not Cena/Ziggler which was a great match

LOL at Vickie not selling AJ´s punch at all xD

  • WWFoverWWE

I’m also surprised we got some nxt season 3 continuity during the battle royal. Who would’ve thought? xD

I agree with you on that, it was a nice moment, even though no one remembers about that lol (beside Diva fans)!

    • http://youtube.com/kristalmelinafan kristalmelinafan

That’s why Matt Striker should be the announcer on Raw and Smackdown.

  • iLUVValets

Omg come on yall imo this was the best PPV I have seen from WWE in a very long time. Might actually even tune in to RAW tonight for the first time in like 5 months lol. But only for an hour or two. Not about to just waste three hours of my life lol

  • JJ

Cryssi, bless you, you’re my favourite writer here but it might be best for you to take a break.

I thought this was one of the best diva battle royal’s in recent history…even if that isn’t saying much. It reminded me of a few years ago when they would plan out spots and work to everyone’s skill level. There were still too many messed up spots (yes, Tamina, I like ya but I’m looking square at you girl) and a few eliminations that meant nothing when they should have (where’d my foxy go? Oh, eliminated with no mention) but this was much better than the one minute crap-fests we’ve been dealt one too many times.

I was tremendously happy to see Naomi win; it was one of those occasions where I thought I was being overly optimistic thinking she was going to pull an upset and win, but then she went ahead and did it. Last time I felt like that was Alicia’s title win.

The match itself was hampered by time restraints, which is sad. They rushed out there fast as they could and the match didn’t get the time it needed to develop. That said, Naomi proved exactly why so many diva fans have been raving about her for years, and I was happy to see this morning every site I frequent had nothing but good things to say about her. Her athleticism is something else, and the fake out attack followed by the dropkick through the ropes was a thing of beauty. I also liked that she was able to work the crowd better than most of the divas. Hats off Naomi!

Eve’s had an iffy year ring-wise IMO, some highs some lows, but she ended it on a good note. I feel she’s finally getting a good grasp on her character and portraying it in the ring; the wave (ripped off from Madison Rayne or not) is working, and the post-match photoshoots are so obnoxious it’s great.

So not the best night of action, but certainly a fun one. Hopefully this is the start of Naomi in the ring full-time…it damn well should be!

  • Divo

So ready for eve to drop the title.. on another note it was great seeing aj turn heel and get that great crowd reaction.

    • puppies

She’s actually the only person on the roster that puts any prestige into the title.

      • http://facebook.com/mykael.kennedy mykel1990

Bull, Natalya is by far the best wrestler on the roster, having her take on all comers and at the same time and put them over simultaneously? That’d be prestigious, and Natalya could be every bit of as good champion as Eve.

  • French.One

Grinchy Crissy makes better reduxes …

A few notes on the battle royal :
    – I liked Eve on commentary and how she said she should have been diva of years, maybe they’ll start the feud from here
    – I don’t know what Alicia did, but she’s way low on the division
    – Cameron had hard time to position her arms for the suplex
    – Layla covered the botches very well (her half crossbody, and Tamina’s superkick)
    – The end was too quick

I think the match was ok, the first minute was nice but then it was more hesitant. I’m not a big fan of Naomi so I’ll wait to see more to judge her.

  • VelvetLoveFan

I couldn’t help but LOL when Aksana did the pose on the ropes! :,D lol

    • WWFoverWWE

she was asking to be eliminated.

      • VelvetLoveFan

I think it was just a way to go out within the time she was given.

  • http://youtube.com/kristalmelinafan kristalmelinafan

So sick of people saying “it doesn’t make sense”. It’s a battle royal which doesn’t suppose to be predictable. It suppose to have an air to it that anyone can win. Damn wrestling fans like these really ruin wrestling because they always depict shit which could be good. But my only gripe is about the divas match is the placement. Why the hell would you place the divas match after a stupendous bout between the shield and ryback and team hell no. Dumb logic on wwe part anyways, Naomi out shined Eve, even if she did had an elbow injury, it doesn’t hinder majority of her move sets so those excuses of the injury holding her back during this match can stop. Plenty of divas wrestled full time and excellent in injuries, an elbow shouldn’t do anything to Eve. Eve is just an over hyped diva. Eve was gassed majority of the match, not taking anything away from the no charismatic stiff divas champion but Naomi showed that she deserve a shot at the title.

  • 09DHK

Had this match been given more time and a much better spot, it could’ve easily been the divas match of the year (at least on television since Naomi and Natalya’s house show match already has that honor). Out of the current crop of divas, Eve and Naomi are the best behind Natalya, and both are very athletic. But Eve’s finisher needs to go ASAP. If she’s supposed to be the top heel, she needs to come up with a finisher that doesn’t look so weak; not to mention the fact that it takes her forever to setup for it. Naomi MADE this match watchable with her athleticism and personality alone. If Eve’s opponent were Kaitlyn or Layla, fans watching would’ve probably written it off as a bathroom break like they do with most divas matches. But the fact that Naomi had the fans attention for the entire three minutes even after an amazing TLC match should speak for itself. I only hope that WWE watched this match closely and realize that they have a star in Naomi.

  • http://twitter.com/rodneyclint rodneyclint

Blah redux, if you’re in a crappy mood keep it to yourself. Way too much personal info I could have lived without knowing lol jeez.

Onto the night’s activities, I thought it was all great. Debuting Naomi in-ring the way they did makes perfect sense. After all, you can get lucky and win a battle royal, it’s one of the more
interesting aspects of the match type. And the title match served it’s purpose of making Eve look strong but also giving the crowd a little taste of what Naomi can do. Having her out wrestle and win the off of Eve would have been a bit much, but showing off her agility and personality was great. Keep it up WWE!!

    • Nostalgia

      !!!! *ur cute btw

      • Mr_Adone

        Wtf!!!! LAMMMMEEEE LOL

    • http://facebook.com/mykael.kennedy mykel1990

I agree, Rodney. Given that she hasn’t wrestled in such a long time, I think Naomi did pretty well for herself, and Eve, despite clearly having an arm injury, gave it what she had in the allotted amount of time.

  • Johnyfaction3

Almost every move that Naomi did the fans reacted to so that’s really says something about her

  • Johnyfaction3

Eve also got awesome heat from the crowd after she attacked Kaitlyn. haha.

  • xAJLeeNerdx

I honestly don’t get the point of putting Vickie Guerrero in these catfights. She doesn’t sell anything besides a slap!

    • smnozx

I couldn’t agree more! It’s pretty hard to mess up a catfight, but Vickie manages to do so….

      • Choko

She’s not professionally trained and she isn’t quick either. She is great considering how most non-wrestlers are awful in the ring.

  • shameronstar

I thought last night was one of the better shows wwe has put out in a long time! The divas battle royal was a decent showing and Naomi winning got a big plus from me. While the actually championship match was short it did a good job of introducing Naomi as an highly athletic competitor who can just as easily win the title on a good night or loss it on a bad one! I just hope that tonight on Raw the divas get to start something going into the new year because with People like Eve, Layla, Naomi, Kaitlyn, and Tamina already on the roster and prospects like Paige and Sasha waiting in the developmental ranks 2013 could be the year since some positive changes are supposed to be going into the diva’s division! As far as AJ goes I liked the little skirmish she had with Vickie. Yes, Vickie really didn’t sell very well but for someone who isn’t an athlete or a trained wrestler and is at the age she is at you got to give her some credit! AJ actually being one of the few people to actually ever go over and get the best of Cena says a lot. I think AJ character is like Kharma’s in the since that both are extremely over tweeners so they kind of do what ever the hell they want to do when they want to do which makes them somewhat more complex then the average run of the mil wwe character! If this change some how leads to AJ getting her long awaited diva’s title at Wrestlemania in her home state it’ll be very, very interesting to see how that transpires and who AJ’s supporting characters leading up and being apart of that moment will be!

  • smnozx

Naomi shined last night! it was what fans have waited so long for. Seeing her break away from Brodus, and Cameron was what she needed. Her skill level is great! Her charisma is off the charts. I can’t remember the last time a crowd was anything but silent during a divas match. It was nice to see fans get behind her quickly during the title match. Although, I found the intro to this article very unprofessional. Personal things should be left personal. That’s my opinion, but I hope things get better for the writer! GO NAOMI.

am i just searching for botches as she does ‘em so much, or did it look as if rosa’s elimination was accidental? it just didn’t flow right to me and it seemed as if natalya had a brief moment of ‘oh, great. what shall i do now?’ when rosa fell out the ring.

thinking about it, it is a bit dumb that we’re supposed to believe naomi could be a legit threat to the champion and yes, a slower turn from dancer to wrestler would be more believable (even if we, as diva fans, know naomi can kick butt..!) but i guess, in a way, the match was less about naomi vs eve and more about eve being shit scared of kaitlyn. and i liked that as it showed some form continuity and carries on the feud. :)

Not only was there continuity of Eve not wanting to face Kaitlyn, but Eve making sure someone like Naomi got in the match made sense. I mean it showed after the battle royal and at the beginning of the title match that Eve didn’t take Naomi seriously. It can be justified that she thought it would be a walk in the park and the classic story of the opponent showing it’s not QUITE that easy.

PLEASE….no more kaitlyn/Eve. We’re supposed to be done with that.

I think they had Eve slap kaitlyn because they didn’t want Naomi to cleanly eliminate kaitlyn considering kaitlyn has been an active diva longer. Makes sense to me…

LOL i agree. i’m neither a real fan of eve nor kaitlyn, i just feel as if their feud isn’t finished. i think it was supposed to continue from survivor series but it was as if kaitlyn got pulled from tv for a few weeks after her arrest. =/

ya know, i just realised that as long as kaitlyn and layla stay away from the title scene the next couple months, EVERY possible feud is something new or fresh.

eve vs naomi.. or alicia.. natalya.. i’d even be excited at eve vs rosa or aksana lol. kinda cool really !:)

Yes Kalendrina you are searching for botches cause if you watch clearly the spot, Rosa put her legs around Natalyas head so Natalya can elevate her over the top rope so she can fall to the outside.

At the same time Rosa held the ropes correctly so she can do the flip over the top rope.

You guys seriously need to stop this cause it’s getting tiring.

Naomi botched in the PPV match, others botched much more than Rosa through the whole year and in 2011, yet you always going after her doing as if she is the worst and the one with the most botches which clearly isn’t the case.

A little bit of fairness would do you guys good.

oh, ffs. i was asking a question. stop with the ‘you guys..’ shit. it just looked awkward to me, that’s all.
