This induction will make Beth the youngest inductee, as well as the woman with the quickest induction since her retirement. And on top of her husband being in the Hall of Fame, they will now be the first husband and wife couple to both be inducted!
Beth soon went on to capture the Women’s Championship and soon became the most dominant force in the then Divas division. Throughout this time she also teamed up with Santino Marella to become the “power couple” known as “Glamarella.” One of their most crowning moments was when Phoenix won her second Women’s Championship and Marella the Intercontinental Title in a Winner Take All Tag Team Match at SummerSlam 2008.
She would soon become a 3x Women’s Champion as well as hold the Divas Championship before leaving the ring in 2012.
Part of what made The Glamazon a success was the fact that she never took “no” for an answer. She always defied the odds and made sure to be a standout member of the women’s roster. From defining moments such as eliminating The Great Khali in the 2010 Royal Rumble match to being in the very first women’s table match at TLC 2010 (alongside Natalya, Layla and Michelle McCool), Phoenix is, and always will be, a huge pioneer for the growing women’s division.
This induction does not come as a surprise as Beth has stood tall amongst some of the best, and continues to be a memorable and striking force for WWE’s women.
