DOUBLE OR NOTHING will be available live for non-US viewers

All Elite Wrestling’s first pay-per view, DOUBLE OR NOTHING is one of the most anticipated one for wrestling fans. Now, people outside of the United States will be able to watch DOUBLE OR NOTHING live on FITE.TV.

This was announced in a press release sent to Diva Dirt Friday morning.

In the press release, Tony Khan, President and CEO of AEW released the following statement on the FITE-AEW announcement.

“A global and historic event the scope of DOUBLE OR NOTHING requires nothing less than the best global platform and partner in the business, one that is capable of not only reaching wrestling fans outside of the U.S., but also serving them reliably on a wide variety of platforms,” said Tony Khan, President and CEO of AEW. “The natural choice for AEW was FITE.TV. Our mission at AEW is ‘Change the World,’ and to do so, we need to reach the world. With FITE.TV, we will.” 

The press release also states that DOUBLE OR NOTHING was sold out in 30 minutes.

Michael Weber, COO of FITE also released a statement regarding the announcement.

“FITE is pumped to once again be at the forefront of providing the most exciting events in the combat sports world on the FITE digital platform,” said Michael Weber, COO of FITE. “FITE experienced great success when it aired the inaugural All In wrestling event this past fall, and we look for another successful event from the AEW team.” 

Viewers outside of the United States will also be allowed to watch the one-hour pre-show special, THE BUY-IN on FITE, and it will be streaming live on AEW’s YouTube channel starting at 7 p.m. Eastern. THE BUY-IN will include the first ever “Casino Battle Royal,” which will have 21 competitors. Whoever wins will receive a future title shot against the first-ever AEW World Champion.
