Jinny will be making her return to the ring in May to face the inaugural Progress Women’s Champion Toni Storm.

The match up will not be a rematch, instead, it will be the number one contender’s official bet for the title as her original opportunity got scrapped from the lineup of Chapter 62 when she got injured ahead of Storm’s return to the country.

Jinny was able to choose a replacement, with Chakara getting the title shot in her absence. It was the post-match beatdown where Jinny introduced a new stable with Chakara, Nina Samuels and now Charlie Morgan following behind.

The defense takes place eight days before her reign reaches a full year on May 20th at the Victoria Warehouse.

Storm recently crossed the threshold of reigning for 300 days!

Ahead of this bout in Perth Storm will defend her title on April 18 against Allyson Cruz and then again on April 23rd square off against Jessica Troy when the promotion hosts an event in Sydney.

Progress Chapter 69 will take place on May 20. Go here for more information.
