As Diva Dirt first broke, WWE recently signed Florida-based independent wrestler Isis the Amazon to a contract recently. Isis debuted tonight on WWE NXT as Aloisia, one of the six rookie Divas competing on season three of NXT, which is due to begin next week.
We are told that Isis was signed to her contract two weeks ago with WWE specifically earmarking her for a spot on NXT, presumably due to her unique stature as she stands at 6’9″ tall.
Isis was first spotted at the FCW Arena a few weeks ago and again at an FCW live event last Friday, leading us to speculate that she had been signed. A reliable source confirmed our story on Monday and tonight, she debuted on television.
The rookie was originally going to go under the name of Lindsay on NXT, however for whatever reason, she is now known as Aloisia. Her NXT pro will be Vickie Guerrero.

* AJ Lee: 23-year old AJ, real name April Jeanette, was signed by WWE last spring. Prior to WWE, she had been working on the independent circuit as Miss April. AJ primarily worked in the New Jersey area for Women Superstars Uncensored where she was one half of the WSU Tag Team Champions at the time of her signing. Since joining WWE developmental, she had been going by the name AJ Lee and is the current Queen of FCW after defeating Serena for the crown on an episode of FCW TV.
Pro: Former WWE Tag Team Champion, Primo.
* Aksana: 28-year old Aksana, real name Zivile Raudoniene, is a familiar face on the bodybuilding and fitness modeling circuit. The Lithuanian was signed by WWE sometime last year and has recently been hosting ‘The Aksana Show’ on FCW television.
Pro: Veteran WWE Superstar, Goldust.
* Aloisia: 23-year old Aloisia is independent wrestler, Isis the Amazon, whose signing Diva Dirt first broke last Friday. In a huge turnaround, she has already been thrown into the national television spotlight as the sixth and final rookie on NXT. She is 6’9″ tall and stands as tall as The Big Show and The Great Khali.

Out next is the team of Melina and Eve, and LayCool welcome their fellow champ by running that ‘Lady Wawa’ joke even further into the ground. Without much pretense, the bell rings and our match is underway.
Michelle and Melina start off the match for their teams and right off the bat, McCool charge at Melina with a clothesline. Melina evades, and fights back with a flurry of forearms. While Michelle is still flustered, Melina charges Layla in the corner, knocking her to the floor. Unfortunately for Melina, Michelle McCool takes advantage of the distraction and floors her with a belly to belly slam for a near fall. More after the cut »
A dark match that took place last Tuesday prior to the Impact taping, featuring new Knockout Becky Bayless and Christina Von Eerie has been dubbed ‘the worst dark match in history’, according to ProWrestling.net.
Jason Powell reports that the match which saw Bayless team with Okada against Von Eerie and Shannon Moore was panned by people backstage. He writes:
Most of the blame for the match is directed at Bayless, who missed blind tag attempts three times. It was so comically bad that Moore stopped, pointed at her, and yelled, “I’m begging you to tag him” during the middle of a spot. This led to serious laughter backstage.
Becky was signed to a TNA contract a couple of weeks ago and paired with Rob Eckos as his manager in a Jersey Shore-esque gimmick. Promos began airing last week for ‘Shore’, which I’m assuming is Eckos’ new name in TNA with Becky as ‘Cookie’.
Despite the poor review, I’m going to give Becky the benefit of the doubt. It seems she was signed to be a manager and part of a gimmick rather than to wrestle on a regular basis. She portrayed Brooke Lynn to perfection in Wrestlicious, and seems tailor-made for the role of Cookie.
