On this week’s RAW we will see not only a rematch for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles but the same match we have already seen 30 times. Tamina & Natalya will put their titles on the line against former champions Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler.
Tamina & Natalya have already defeated Jax & Baszler in a rematch last week. With an assist from Alexa Bliss who took out Reginald from interfering, the new champs were able to keep the gold around their waists. On SmackDown this past Friday, the tag team champions teamed with SmackDown Women’s Champion Bianca Belair in a losing effort against Jax, Baszler, and Bayley.
Last week, Asuka picked up a much needed win against Charlotte Flair. Although not considered a number one contende match, Flair was set out to win in order to get a one-on-one encounter with Rhea Ripley for the RAW Women’s Title. Asuka winning that match now puts doubt on Flair being Ripley’s next opponent.
Ripley shared the sentiment that many fans have as of late which is we want new challengers. Will we get new challengers for Ripley or will Flair or even Asuka get another crack at the title?
As for Alexa Bliss, she and Lilly have been targeting someone and it may be either Baszler or Jax. Naomi & Lana as well as Mandy Rose & Dana Brooke are still looking to become tag team champions but it looks like they will have to take a back seat to Baszler & Jax for at least one more RAW.
Eva Marie vignettes on her return have been airing for the past three weeks and WWE has just posted a video in regards to her greatest moments. A date for her return on-screen has yet to be determined with “coming soon” still listed at the end of her vignettes.
