Paige injured?

At a recent event in Uniondale, New York, WWE Superstar Paige may have suffered an injury.

The incident took place in a six woman contest in which Paige, Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville took on on Mickie James, Bayley and Sasha Banks.

During the match, Paige is seen being attended to by WWE staff whilst her opponents, team members and fans look on in shock. Though a stretcher was brought out, the star didn’t seem to need it.

The clip can be seen below:

Fans in attendance have stated that the injury is most likely in her shoulder.

Although there is no confirmation on the seriousness of the issue, the quick ending to the match may be an indication of some unfortunate news.

The Brit recently returned to WWE screens on the November 20th, 2017 edition of RAW, teaming with newcomers Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville, branding themselves as “Absolution”.

Since then, Paige has gone on to receiving constant praise from fans, a new t-shirt, and has been a part of the monumental Royal Rumble announcement – in which she is one of the most popular choices to win.

UPDATE 12/28/17: WWE hasn’t officially announced Paige’s status but PW Insider is reporting she is being removed from upcoming Live events.

The remaining WWE live event schedule is below:

  • Raw: 12/29 in Albany, New York
  • SmackDown: 12/29 in Hershey, Pennsylvania
  • Raw: 12/30 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada
  • SmackDown: 12/30 in Tampa, Florida

After undergoing major neck surgery last year, Paige went down at last night after what reports say was a kick from Sasha Banks. Paige immediately grabbed her shoulder before the match between Absolution and Banks, Bayley, and Mickie James was immediately halted.

A gif has surfaced on twitter of the freak accident:

We here at Diva Dirt wish Paige the best of luck with her injury, and hope she goes through a speedy recovery.
