Rok-C was the one to receive the first golden ticket and punch her entry into the upcoming ROH Women’s Tournament. Maria Kanellis-Bennett announced last week that via zoom she would make the decision this week. The tournament will be coming later this summer.
ROH kicked off the Women’s Division Wednesday on YouTube last week in tag team action Rok-C teamed up with Max the Impaler as they faced Hyan and Laynie Luck. The match ended in a draw as it reached its 15-minute time limit.
This week we saw Vita VonStarr taking on ROH veteran Sumie Sakai. Sakai became the first Women of Honor World Champion in 2018 when she defeated Kelly Klein in the final of that tournament. Now with a new title coming this summer along with a new tournament, Sakai wants to see if she can get a repeat.
Sakai ended up coming out with a victory in this match with a cradle pin. Afterward, VonStarr sent a message as she locked a submission in the ropes and stated that Sakai only was able to escape because she let her.
What are your thoughts so far on Women’s Division Wednesday and with Rok-C becoming the first entrant into the upcoming tournament?
