According to Inquisitor.com, Charlotte may have a shocking new feud after SummerSlam! Just who would the mystery opponent be? None other than the man himself, Ric Flair. We have not seen Ric since Charlotte cast him away in May. But if Monday Night’s name dropping in the opening promo of RAW is any inclination to the validity of these rumors, things could get quite interesting.
While anything is still possible, the two most prominent scenarios involve Daddy Flair teaming up with Bayley or Dana Brooke to teach his ungrateful daughter a lesson. Backstage sources indicate that WWE Management is still high on Dana Brooke and feel like pairing her with Charlotte and Ric in the angle could elevate her as a baby face.
Of course, there’s always the chance that Ric will forgive Charlotte for her disloyalty and reform their powerful alliance. After all, stranger things have happened on WWE programming.
