Hey Maryse, Haven’t We Seen That Dress Before?
Let it be known that a certain Miss Ouellet has impeccable fashion taste in my humble opinion, but it's not like our Maryse to be caught dead wearing someone else's sloppy seconds. What is going on here?
Everybody's favourite French poodle rocked a silver mini-dress earlier tonight on WWE Superstars, and as gorgeous as she looked, the first thing that came to mind was, "Seen that dress before."
Indeed, it is the same dress worn by SmackDown Diva, Rosa Mendes and TNA Knockout, Chelsea in ...
SmackDown Redux (August 27th, 2010): Goodbye Serena (For Now)
There's really not much to talk about this week in the SmackDown Redux because there wasn't any Divas action. Sorry Lay-Cool fans! Instead, you can get your fix of those two Monday night on Raw.
Tonight's episode of SmackDown, however, was Serena's final appearance on WWE television. Shortly after this episode was taped last Wednesday, Serena was informed of her release. The news broke this past Monday and quite eerily, it makes Serena's final moments all the more poignant:
After picki...
Things Looking Up for Rosa Mendes in Wake of Tiffany’s Legal Woes
WWE has released its line up for the company's return to Madison Square Garden next month and there seems to be a silver lining in Tiffany's recent legal woes for one Diva.
Rosa Mendes, in an apparent babyface turn, is coming off the bench and will team up with Kelly Kelly to take on Lay-Cool at MSG on September 26th.
I'm assuming that this is an updated line-up and the original spot was for Tiffany. I can't see Rosa and Kelly teaming up randomly otherwise.
We'll see if this also mean...
In Pictures: Divas Hit Red Carpet for SummerSlam Kick Off Party 2010
The WWE is in LA and what better way to celebrate than throwing a true Hollywood-style party complete with D-list guests? That's exactly what WWE did last night to celebrate SummerSlam this Sunday.
Granted, Alcide from True Blood is rising in popularity but the rest of the red carpet walkers ranged from 'Unrecognisable Face A' to 'Unrecognisable Face K'. Sprinkled in between were stars now no longer relevant too -- including Carmen Electra and Mini Me!
I guess, in a way, it's a good that...
(A Belated) SmackDown Redux (July 16, 2010): Meet the Odd Couples!
Apologies for the late SmakDown Redux this week. Melanie is ill and was unable to write the column last night, and asked me to fill in.
Three days before WWE's Money in the Bank pay per view, we have a mixed tag team match. Interesting. I suppose Creative thought that the fans have seen every mix of Tiffany/Kelly/Layla/Michelle possible, and decided to switch it up. Still trying to figure out their logic in Layla and Kelly's partners, however. Tonight, we see Layla teaming with Trent Barr...
SmackDown Redux (July 9th, 2010): Look Who’s Talking…
It's rare to see Divas being given promo time... they're usually just thrown out there for their standard three minute match. So imagine my surprise when all of the Divas were given speaking parts this week. After main eventing Superstars last night, the 'main' Divas, Lay-Cool and Kelly were pretty much given the night off this week on SmackDown -- save for a backstage segment. Watch below:
Josh Mathews announces that Kelly Kelly will challenge the official WWE Women's Champion, Layla at ...
In Pictures: Kelly & Rosa Ready for Summer
How's that for a beach body? SmackDown Divas Kelly Kelly and Rosa Mendes look amazing as they pose for the July edition WWE Magazine, which is on newsstands on Tuesday.
Both Divas look gorgeous in their summer bikinis!

SmackDown Redux (June 25th, 2010): Jump Rope Gets More Screen Time Than Divas
Only in WWE could an altercation be incited by gasp, a jump rope. The starring role, it seems, of tonight's Divas segment went to said jump rope and it looked to me as though it got even more screen time, focus and attention than any of the Divas. In the words of The Miz: "Really? REALLY?" 'Jump rope-gate' came across as silly child's play and made me wonder whether SmackDown had been transported to a kindergarten playground. These are grown women, right? Is it that hard to come up with real...
Raw Redux (June 7th, 2010): So Much Time, So Little Divas
Tonight's Raw, being billed as a 3-hour, "viewer's choice" show featuring wrestlers from both Raw and Smackdown, was destined to be a little cluttered, given how many elements were in the mix. Unfortunately, very little of that mixture consisted of Divas. In the whole span of three hours, the Divas (all 12 of them) took up about 4 minutes of time. That's a "needle in a haystack" situation if I've ever seen one. But, there's always hope that they make the most of the little time they were giv...
SmackDown Redux (June 4th, 2010): Kelly, Can You Handle This?
It looks as though we have our next Divas feud on SmackDown as Team Lay-Cool scouted Kelly Kelly during her match tonight with Rosa Mendes. The co-Women's Champions, Layla and Michelle McCool, watched on as K2 faced off against fellow her Raw import. Upon seeing spoilers for this week's show, I have to admit, I wasn't optimistic for a Kelly vs Rosa match -- both seem so limited in the ring -- so how did it all come together? Regardez:
Latina Rosa is the first out for her first match s...
