Impact Write-Up (September 2nd, 2010): SURPRISE! It’s Tara! Seriously!
After weeks and weeks of pointless speculation, outlandish theories, and minor spoilers from other Knockouts, Tara finally showed her actual face on TNA television again. Absolute SHOCK reigned supreme in the Impact Zone and I'm sure I wasn't the only person scratching my head at the dramatic turn of events! The announcers even seemed amazed. I mean hello! Tara is back and she's helping the woman who ended her career no less! It's mind boggling. It's truly baffling. It's more confusing that a ...
Mystery Biker Chick Revealed on Impact (to the Surprise of No One)
Former TNA Knockouts Champion, Tara was revealed to be the woman under the biker helmet -- and mask -- on tonight's episode of Impact, thus concluding the greatest mystery in all of women's wrestling. *Cough*
It's been an interesting, yet bumpy story over the past few months for Tara, real name Lisa Marie Varon. In April, the three-time champion announced that she would be leaving TNA at the end of her contract in May as the two sides couldn't reach a new deal. In storyline, she put her c...
In Video: Interview with Tara (Lisa Marie Varon) at Chicago Wizard World
Former TNA Knockouts Champion, Tara (Lisa Marie Varon), took part in a video interview with ChicagoNow's Geek To Me blog during Chicago Wizard World a couple of weeks ago. Watch below:
Really fun, personable interview with Lisa. She has a great, humorous personality. It's a shame we didn't get to see more of this side of her incorporated into her babyface TNA character....

Interestingly, Varon has been tweeting about playing with her dogs etc., giving off the impression that she isn't the Mystery Bike...
Victory Road Mystery Biker Chick’s Identity Revealed
The mystery biker chick at Victory Road has been revealed by Mike Johnson of PWInsider to be Lisa Marie Varon aka Tara.
The former three-time Knockouts Champion seemingly left the company two months ago after losing a 'Career vs Title' match against Madison Rayne at Sacrifice. In reality, Varon's contract was coming to an end and negotiations with TNA had broken down over a pay rise.
Last month however, it was reported by the Wrestling Observer, that Tara had signed a last minute deal af...
Tara Returning to TNA?
The latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter suggests that former Knockouts Champion, Tara could be heading back to TNA. Dave Meltzer writes:
Lisa “Tara” Varon is expected back. From what we’re told, she was leaving when her contract expired and they did the retirement stipulation in her match. Then, actually before the match took place, she and Dixie Carter either cut a new deal or at least were close on it. But since they had the stipulation out there, they had her lose, le...

Victoria Re-Added to WWE Alumni
Former Women's Champion, Victoria [aka Tara] has been re-added to the Alumni section over at WWE.com. Her profile was originally moved to the Alumni section in January 2009 after leaving WWE. It was later deleted after Victoria became Tara in TNA.
Looks like the recently departed Knockout may have spoken to the company recently and is back on good terms.
Great to see WWE once again recognise Lisa Marie Varon, who I have no doubt will one day be a WWE Hall of Famer,...
Sacrifice in Review (May 16th, 2010): Down Came the Rayne and Washed the Spider Away
This is a bittersweet day for me and I'm sure a lot of readers will share my sentiments. The Knockouts division is on a decline and last night it lost one of its best performers. We knew it was coming, but that didn't help dull the sting. Tara put her career on the line against Madison Rayne's Knockouts Championship and the champion walked away with the victory. Our last TNA images of Tara will forever be her being escorted from the ring by a security guard but the effect and impression she le...
