WWE released backstage correspondent Dasha Fuentes

WWE released Dasha Fuentes, per a report by Pro Wrestling Sheet. She joined the NXT as a wrestler back in 2014 but moved over to the NXT broadcast team in the following year.

It’s uncertain when the company made this move because Fuentes was in New York for WrestleMania weekend.

According to Ryan Satin, “Dasha has yet to comment on her release from WWE, but she shared a video on Instagram saying “it’s been an interesting couple of days” and that she’s going on a non-work related trip.”

Fuentes has also appeared on SmackDown and 205 Live as a backstage interviewer. She debuted in an NXT live event in April of 2015, teaming up with Dana Brooke, and Becky Lynch against Carmella, Alexa Bliss and Devin Taylor.

It’s unclear why she was released at this time but check back with Diva Dirt for updates as they’re available.
