Bianca Belair says that a Hair vs. Hair match with her involved is “inevitable”

The winner of this year’s women’s Royal Rumble match is at the top of her game right now. Bianca Belair is known for two things – being the EST and her long braid.

While speaking with ESPN’s Cheap Heat the topic of a future Hair vs. Hair match came up. Belair taking part in a match like this would certainly leave everything on the table.

“People bring it up all the time and they ask do I ever think I’ll ever be a part of that,” said Belair. “I think it’s pretty much inevitable because I mean, so much of who I am is my braid. I mean, she even has a name.”

She further discusses the name she has for her braid and how much her hair means to her. A feud surrounding a title is not something that she feels is always needed. Her not wanting to lose her hair would be a huge stand-alone storyline of itself.

“Her name is Destiny, and it makes sense, right? So, and I think that it’s really fun to have feuds sometimes that aren’t always a part of the title picture and if I have a hair versus hair match… I ain’t gonna say it’s bigger than a title. A title is pretty big, you know? But, there will be a lot at stake and I think a lot of people could get very invested in it. I don’t wanna lose my braid, I don’t want to lose my hair. I think it would be great. I’d be down for it.”

A Hair vs. Hair match is nothing that is seen often. It is definitely a match that has a lot at stake especially when an image becomes such an important role. This gimmick of match was supposed to take place at last year’s SummerSlam between Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville. The final match between these two ladies was then changed to a No Disqualification Loser Leaves WWE match instead.

No one can ever forget the iconic Hair vs. Hair bout from WrestleMania where Molly Holly ended going bald after her loss to Victoria.

What would you think of this type of match for Bianca? Who would you want to see be her opponent if this were to happen? Leave your thoughts below.
