4. Roxanne Perez 23yo NXT
The Prodigy isn’t just a moniker, it is who Roxanne Perez is.
Starting her official career at 16yo, she started training at 13yo. She worked local indie shows in Texas, mostly at Reality of Wrestling where she was trained by Booker T.
Under the name Rok-C, Perez would debut for ROH in 2021 and become the name of its women’s division. She became the inaugural ROH Women’s World Champion, a title she held for 119 days before dropping it to Deonna Purrazzo when she signed with WWE in 2022.
Without officially being called up to the main roster (seems to be right around the corner), Perez is arguably one of the best NXT Women’s Champions ever as she has held it on two different occasions. Her second reign superior to the first.
Perez has won the first Iron Survivor Challenge and was the first Breakout Star Winner. Perez briefly held the NXT Women’s Tag Titles with Cora Jade and she made history by defending the NXT Women’s Title against a then-TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace. She has shared the ring with a lot of main roster superstars already including Natalya, Bayley, Dakota Kai, IYO SKY, Rhea Ripley, Chelsea Green, Tiffany Stratton, and more. She’s been in three Royal Rumbles and an Elimination Chamber.
Perez has shined in all of her appearances on the main roster while blending in naturally. Once the official call up for Perez is announced, it will not only be a new chapter for her but feel like just the start for the fans.
