Kamille remains NWA Women’s Champion after defeating Melina at Hard Times 2

Kamille is still the NWA World Women’s Champion after defeating Melina during Saturday’s Hard Times 2 event. This win extends her reign of the championship she has held since June where she defeated Serena Deeb. The battle between Kamille and Melina was a sight to see, but by the end, the champion hit her devastating spear keep the gold around her waist.

In an interview post-match, Melina spoke on her loss and got emotional saying that she is meant to hold the NWA Women’s Title. She feels part of her is never going to retire until she obtains the gold. And even when she holds the gold she isn’t going to lose it until someone really earns it and that person can be her successor and the two can have the greatest match ever. She doesn’t feel that she is done with Kamille just yet.

The NWA World Women’s Tag Team Titles were on the line at the event as well. The Hex retained in a Fatal Four Way which was originally booked as a Triple Threat. They defeated the teams of Tootie Lynn & Kylie Rae, Missa Kate & Natalia Markova, and Jennacide & Paola Blaze. This match aired on the preshow.

The IMPACT Knockouts World Title was the third women’s title defended at the event as the champ Mickies James defended against Kiera Hogan. Hogan faced her childhood idol in this match and faced off for the Knockouts Title for the first time in her career. James retained.

Lastly, the fans and fellow talent surrounded the ring to appreciate the legend Jazz.
