In the past two years, the amount of male Superstars coming out in support of their sisters in the ring has grown exponentially. Whether it’s Chris Jericho using his podcast as a platform to advocate, Lance Storm taking to Twitter to comment on the former Diva’s Belt, or Seth Rollins at ringside in tears after the historic Iron Man Match, Superstars of the past and present were on board for a Women’s Wrestling Revolution. WWE Hall of Famer, Mick Foley, has often used his Facebook page to praise the women of the WWE, long before his triumphant return to television and apparently means to keep on! Foley had been teasing his Facebook followers about the article for several days and last night at 2:30 a.m. finally delivered.
The emotional article called, A Banks Statement, follows Mick and the other Superstars backstage as they witness the Boss defeat Charlotte to begin her first reign as the WWE Women’s Champion. You can find this must read article by clicking here.
