Trish Stratus & Lita reminisce on their monumental RAW main event

Trish Stratus posted on her social media yesterday to take a trip down memory lane with Lita.

Dec. 6 marked 15-years that Stratus and Lita main evented Monday Night RAW one-on-one for the Women’s Championship. These two women revolutionized women’s wrestling and did it by being both foes and allies throughout their tenure.

Stratus wrote that it was fitting that she was spending her time with her bestie during this anniversary. She went on to say:

“Kicking down doors. Breaking glass ceilings. Grabbing the brass ring. We clawed our way into the history books.”

This duo will forever be in the history of WWE as they have taken their rightful place in the Hall of Fame (Stratus 2013, Lita 2014). This historic match had everything it needed to have to be a classic.

Both women pulled out their signature moves that made their careers. Stratus with her Matrix move and Stratusfaction along with Lita’s Twist of Fate and Moonsault topped off an incredible back and forth match.

Stratus’ heel antics were strong throughout such as her removing her protective mask to use as a weapon. And no one will ever forget Lita’s suicide dive that had everyone gasping.

What were some of your best moments of this monumental match? What other matches between these two Hall of Famers are your favorites? Let’s discuss in the comment section.

Molly Holly vs. Trish Stratus vs. Gail Kim WWF Women’s Title RAW 08/11/03

Today’s Free Match Friday goes back to 2003.

Molly Holly was the champion heading into this match and was in her second reign. She won the title in July of that year from Gail Kim who won the title in her debut match. Kim held the title for 28-days. Trish Stratus was part of the match because Holly was no stranger to feuding with her as that is who she won her first title from.

This Triple Threat match was the perfect example of a good match jammed into a small amount of time.

Click the video above to see if Molly Holly was able to retain her title.

WWE lists the best “good women” who have “gone bad”

WWE has decided to put together a Top 10 list of who they think are the best “good women” who have “gone bad.”

This topic was sparked with the recent events of last week where Bayley seemingly turned on Becky Lynch. We witnessed her siding with her best friend Sasha Banks with a steel chair attack on the RAW Women’s Champion. They would continue their attack on SmackDown, but this time Charlotte Flair would be the victim.

Bayley’s full heel turn remains to be seen as she stated that she is the same person but just having her best friends back. Someone who has always been there for her. The reactions to her “turn” have been mixed.

WWE’s list comprises many women from a few different eras. Let’s see what they have picked

  • 10. Lita betrays Kane
  • 9. Aj Lee costs Cena
  • 8. Becky pummels Charlotte
  • 7. Eve low-blows Ryder
  • 6. Trish kisses Christian
  • 5. Ronda says no more
  • 4. Mickie kicks Trish
  • 3. Sasha’s new attitude
  • 2. Nikki knocks out Brie
  • 1.Bayley gone bad

Who would you put on your list? Discuss your thoughts in the comment section!!
