RISE Wrestling to set major record at LEGENDARY event

RISE Wrestling’s next event will literally be LEGENDARY, because that’s the name of the show. RISE – LEGENDARY will take place later this month and when it does, it will set a huge record in the history of women’s wrestling.

In front of a sold out crowd in Chicago, Illinois, RISE – LEGENDARY will boast the largest roster of women’s wrestlers to ever be assembled for a single event. Yes, that includes WWE’s own all women’s Evolution event. WWE Evolution hosted 38 active competitors, not including the dark match. Including the dark match, 40 women wrestled at WWE Evolution.

RISE’s event promises to be even more stacked with over 60 women booked to compete at the event. It will feature a tag team Rosemary‘s Rules Match, a 30-women battle royal, a #1 contender’s Tag Team #1 Contender’s Match and a couple singles contests.

LEGENDARY will be headlined by a No Ropes Submission Match where Mercedes Martinez will defend her Phoenix of RISE Championship against Kylie Rae.

The show will be hosted by Allysin Kay and Veda Scott. Other notable names appearing include Gail Kim, Su Yung, Allie, Session Moth Martina, Alisha Edwards, Penelope Ford, Charlie Evans, Jessica Troy, Jessicka Havok, Shotzi Blackheart, Delilah Doom, Sonya Strong, Shazza McKenzie, Allie Kat and Kris Wolf. Wolf will be competing in her RISE farewell match.

RISE – LEGENDARY will go live on Mar. 29 on the Fite.tv iPPV app for just $14.99. The event can also be seen on the RISE – ASCENT streaming service.
