Melanie
melanie_largeAs the Editor-in-Chief of Diva Dirt, Melanie is the founder of the site. Melanie had a vision of a Diva-oriented blog in the style of popular celebrity commentary blogs such as Oh No They Didn’t! as well as more serious blogs, like /Film; along with good friend Erin, she finally realised her goal in March 2008 with the launch of this site. The rest, as they say, is history. At Diva Dirt, Melanie has grown a penchant for being opinionated as well as finding the humour in situations. Among her contributions is the latest news as well reviewing SmackDown in the weekly ‘SmackDown Redux’. Melanie also co-hosts the thrice-weekly audio show, ‘D3′ with Erin. Behind the scenes, Melanie handles everything you don’t see too including hosting, design, managing staff, managing editorial content and much more.

“Being able to combine two things I love [women's wrestling and writing] is a dream come true, to me this is a job and I love getting on the laptop everyday and doing what I love. This site has afforded me more experience in writing and journalism than I could ever have imagined and gives me a head-start in my chosen career field. It is my goal to be able to make Diva Dirt my career. Through this site I have been able to gain invaluable contacts in the wrestling industry, it’s just amazing to see how far we’ve come. From just starting out as fans to gaining the attention and respect of sources within the industry.”

She is currently completing her Journalism degree at a London university.

Erin
erin_largeOur Managing Editor has been with Diva Dirt from the beginning, helping Melanie with her vision for this blog. Being good friends for so long, Erin and Melanie found their writing styles meshed well together and started Diva Dirt as a two-woman crew. As well as posting the latest news, Erin took on the role of a ‘Internet Editor’ of sorts, covering the online aspects of the Diva lifestyle such as the latest WWE.com photoshoots and more. Erin currently writes the pioneering Diva Dirt column ‘Raw Redux’ and is co-host on ‘D3′. As well as writing for the site, Erin oversees all multimedia aspects of the site including image editing, video content and typographical editing.

“Melanie and I started this on a whim, and never imagined that it could grow into this. I’m so proud and excited to see that it’s reached so many people!”

Erin resides in Florida and is studying for a double major in Marketing & Management.

Steven
steven_largeSteven is Diva Dirt’s SHIMMER and FCW correspondent, joining the Diva Dirt team in January 2009, after starting out as a loyal reader. Steven, an avid fan of SHIMMER, brings extensive and alternative coverage to Diva Dirt. Steven currently hosts two Diva Dirt audio shows, ‘The Post-Raw Show’ and ‘The Post-Impact Show’.

“Diva Dirt is a great way for me to voice my opinions with other Diva fans, while also entertaining them. That’s what made me a regular here, before I became a writer.” Steven’s work at Diva Dirt have opened doors for him too, most recently striking up connections with the SHIMMER office.

Steven resides in New York where he is a student and security guard.

Krissy Vaine
tiffany_largeIn August 2009, Diva Dirt welcomed our biggest acqusition yet — former WWE Diva, Krissy Vaine. With nearly a decade of experience in the wrestling industry, Krissy has worked for WWE and it’s developmental territories, DSW [now defunct] and FCW as well as SHIMMER and the independents. With Amber O’Neal, Krissy was part of the popular independent tag team, Team Blondage for several years. Joining WWE in 2006, Krissy trained and worked with prominent Divas and Knockouts such as Angelina Love, Michelle McCool, Natalya and Taylor Wilde. Krissy made her main roster debut in September 2007 on SmackDown, attacking Torrie Wilson following a match with Victoria. Shortly after her debut, Krissy and fiance Ryan O’Reilly left the WWE. Krissy now works on the independent circuit occasionally while working as a style & image consultant in North Carolina.

As part of Diva Dirt, Krissy writes a column entitled ‘Vainety Fair’, giving readers insight into Krissy’s own experiences and also hosts her own audio show, ‘The Krissy Vaine Project’.

Cryssi
cryssi_largeJoining the site in January 2010, Cryssi is the latest addition to the Diva Dirt as the new TNA correspondent. Cryssi contributes the weekly ‘Impact Write-Up’ and other news stories. Starting out as a reader, Cryssi had been a visitor and fan of the website for quite some time before joining the team.

“When the opportunity came to write for Diva Dirt, I was hesitant to go for it. I’ve loved the site and been an active reader of it for more than a year, but I wasn’t sure if I was good enough to write for it. After thinking about it for like a day, I decided I may as well go for it, then to my shock it worked out! I’m thrilled to finally have the opportunity to combine my passion for writing with my love for wrestling. This site is so amazing and I’m honored to be a part of it with Melanie, Erin, and Steven.”

Cryssi resides in Alabama.
