Raw Redux (September 13, 2010): So You Think Monday Night Idol’s Got Talent and Can Dance?

As we all know, WWE plans to unify the WWE Women’s Championship and the WWE Divas Championship, in a lumberjill match at Night of Champions. With that huge match less than a week away, you’d think there’d be some kind of for it, right? Wrong.

In lieu of an actual match, we were treated to a song and dance contest featuring Eve Torres and Maryse on last night’s Raw, courtesy of the Raw Roulette wheel and it was… interesting to say the least. Check it out below:

First out to the ring is the team of Maryse and Ted DiBiase, and I must say Maryse looks great. I can tell already that her gear is gonna be the best part of this ‘match’ Next out are Eve and R-Truth, who are at a clear advantage in this contest. Justin Roberts takes the time to announce the rules to both teams: Each team must pick a member to dance and a member to sing and the winner will be chosen by the WWE Universe.

In Review: “Quick Shootin’ with Allison Danger”

Amidst the recent buzz about some of the recent shoot interviews that have been released, I went through my DVD collection and decided to rewatch “Quick Shootin’ With Allison Danger.”

In January of 2008, Allison Danger sat down with Strong Style Productions in Ireland to conduct a very detailed and story filled shoot interview. The title may be called “Quick Shootin’ With Allison Danger,” but this interview is anything but quick. It almost hits the 4 hour mark with a total run time of 3 hours and 42 minutes. But fret not! Ms Danger has done enough globe trotting and has so many memorable stories to share that you are able to stay interested through out the whole entire interview.

The interview starts off with questions that help us get to know Allison Danger as a person and a wrestler. Her love for the business comes out the most during this portion of the interview as she passionately speaks about some of the problems women encounter in the world of professional wrestling and how mainstream wrestling has had an unfortunate effect on how the fans look at independent wrestling.

For all you girls out there who are aspiring to become a wrestler in the future, Allison offers some very wise and valuable advice to make sure that you know what you’re getting yourself into and what to expect when you do get into the business.

Amber Gertner comes to the ring to conduct an interview with Del Rey. SDR quickly banishes Amber and began talking smack about Serena. Various faces and heels came out. Referee Bryce Remsburg makes it an 8 woman Survivor Series-style elimination tag match in the main event. Ayumi Kurihara, Cheerleader Melissa, Hamada & Serena vs Sara Del Rey, Madison Eagles, Tomoka Nakagawa & Daizee Haze.

4. Leva Bates def. Cat Power with a roll up. Leva is extremely over and has oodles of potential.

5. Veronika Vice def. Jessica James with a neckbreaker. Pretty sloppy in the beginning. Veronika isn’t connecting well in the ring.
