News and notes from the SUN office:
The debut of Pro-Wrestling SUN in Jackson, NJ was a great success! Thank you to those who were able to make the trip out there to share in the our day. Here is the fallout from SUNrise:
Mercedes Martinez (WSU) and Kellie Skater (PWWA) opened the show with a fantastic match that saw gratuitous amounts of shenanigans from the Aussie, yet they were no match for Latina Sensation. Skater fell to the Fisherman Buster from the reigning WSU Champion.
Immediately following this bout, The undisputed “Queen of Wrestling” Sara Del Rey hit the ring to run down the match that she was originally scheduled to be a part of. She then turned her thoughts to Madison Eagles, who due to an emergency, had to pull off the show earlier in the day. Del Rey felt slighted that SHIMMER champion Eagles was getting main event status and a chance for a future title against SUN Champion Allison Danger. SDR insinuated herself into the main event and challenged Danger for the title later on the show.

Spoilers for Friday’s SmackDown:

After being shafted from Raw last week, in favor of Snooki, Divas Champion, Eve, is in action this week, taking on Maryse in a non-title match. We even get a mid-match interruption by Michael Cole. Oh joy… Check out the match below:
We come from commercial to find Maryse already in the ring, doing the usual preening. Eve makes her way out next to a pretty good reaction, while Maryse mocks her from inside the ring. The official signals for the bell, but Maryse stops to do a very over-dramatic hairflip before the match begins. Eve brushes Maryse and does a little mocking of her own. Maryse offense and goes for a slap, but Eve dodges and strikes back with a slap of her own.

When asked about her current favorite Diva, Trish voted for fellow Canadian, Natalya:
“She’s untapped,” Trish smiled. “Fans are starting to get to know her more and more and I’m just waiting for the day where she goes out there and really can do her thing because I don’t think she’s been given the opportunity to really get out there and show everybody what she’s got.”

Results and pictures from yesterday’s Anarchy Championship Wrestling show in San Antonio, TX courtesy of regular contributor, Brandon:
ACW was back in business in the 210 for their March show in Texas – “A Chain Reaction of Evil,” a night that displayed some insane wrestling from the Anarchists. But the real stars of the show were the American Joshis: Tag Champions, Rachel Summerlyn and Jessica James, Athena, Amanda Fox, and the returning Lillie Mae.
The Joshi action kick off with a pre-show match between “Five Star” Amanda Fox and the returning Lillie Mae, who took a brief hiatus from ACW. This match resulted in Amanda Fox on top against the “Hot Little Momma With a Pick Up Truck” Mae with the Ocana Roll while posing. It was a decent match, and good show from both girls. There were a few iffy spots in the match, but it picked up as it progressed. Best move of the match was when Lillie was choking Amanda with her foot, and from there Amanda wrapped her legs on Mae’s legs and rolled into a heel hook on Mae. Great amateur wrestling showing from the “Five Star.”
