Serena Heading to Japan

Former WWE Diva, Serena Deeb will be heading to Japan in January to compete for the promotion, SMASH which is run by former WWE star, Tajiri. Tajiri made the announcement via his Twitter page that Deeb will be part of the January 29th show. Thanks to John Hyperion for the tip.

‘Diva of the Year’ Slammy to be Determined with Battle Royal

Monday’s Slammy Awards special episode of Raw will see a Divas battle royal to determine who wins the ‘Diva of the Year’ Slammy. Two notable independent shows this weekend. The first is Women Superstars Uncensored holding its last show of the year featuring the debuts of Kristin Astara and Athena. That show takes place in New Jersey.

Also tomorrow in Texas, River City Wrestling returns with Alissa Flash and Mercedes Martinez in action. All the details below:

Coming off the heels of our successful debut on iPPV, WSU has announced one more show for 2010, as WSU teams up with our big brother promotion, NWS. WSU has been working with NWS since our inception in March 2007, and this will be another WSU/NWS joint show, featuring 6 WSU matches.
