Ahead of her television debut on ROH on HDNet, we caught up with the Embassy’s princess to find out about her new role. Used to the fun, friendly Mia Yim of Diva Dirt LIVE, we quickly realized that Princess Mia has a whole new attitude! Read below:
Congratulations on your TV debut! Tell us a little bit about what you’ll be doing.
Mia: I will be by my prince [Nana]’s side in the Embassy. The Embassy is Prince Nana and I, our crown jewel Tommaso Ciampa, RD Evans, and Ernesto Osiris.
So how did you get recruited as the Princess?
Mia: Well, Prince Nana insisted I be his princess since I come from Korean royalty. I also have the beauty and wrestling background. I’m not just a pretty face!
You’re certainly not! You’re a pretty kick-ass princess, right?
Mia: Of course I am, I put in my share of work to make the Embassy the best and most powerful stable there is.
Mia Yim will make her debut on ROH on HDNet tonight. The episode was taped a couple of months ago. Tune in for the arrival of Princess Mia at 8pm ET. – Listen to Mia on Diva Soup

Diva Dirt has a lot of exclusive news and notes coming out of WSU’s 4th Anniversary Show last weekend.
* The iPPV is said to have been a big success and was the best selling WSU iPPV so far and even exceeded the allotted bandwidth.
* TNA Knockout, Cookie was backstage. Apparently she was going to appear on the show as a surprise but TNA pulled her off at the last minute.
* I’m told former WWE Women’s Champion, Ivory, was a big hit with the roster. A lot of the girls asked for pictures with her and she watched the entire show from the audience. When it came time for her spot during the Spirit Championship mach, the whole roster was said to have been watching from backstage.
* Brittney Savage and Mercedes Martinez were considered to be locks for WWE Tough Enough which is why they were booked as having their belts in jeopardy going into the show. The rumor is that WWE nixed the list which was put together by the production company behind the show, Shed Media. The original line-up had names such as Savage, Martinez as well as Austin Aries, JD Maverick and others.
Week two of women’s wrestling season sees NCW Femmes Fatales return to action tomorrow night in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
The line-up will see the debuts of Ayako Hamada and Allison Danger as well as returning stars including champion LuFisto, Cheerleader Melissa and plenty of other names.
Line-up after the cut!
Another familiar name is heading to Lucha Libre USA’s Battle of the Chicas show on March 19th. Former WWE and current WSU star, Kristin Astara will make her debut as a Chicastar. Also appearing at the tapings will be Reby Sky, Jacqueline, Nikki Roxx and others.

In lieu of Tina San Antonio, who is injured and unable to compete this Saturday, WSU has added a new match to its iPPV this weekend featuring ‘The Rate Tank’ Kellie Skater.
Skater will face Barbie who will make her WSU return after four years.

Tina San Antonio, one half of the WSU Tag Team Champions was injured in a freak accident and fractured her ankle. Tina will not be able to compete on 3/5. Marti Belle will choose a tag team partner that night. The winner of the announced triple threat tag team title match will become the NEW WSU Tag Team Champions, guaranteeing that there will be one title change on this iPPV! For constant updates on this breaking situation, check out the WSU Facebook page and the WSU Twitter page. There are also videos from Marti & Tina talking about these recent events.
To make up for Tina San Antonio not being on the show as previously advertised due to her injury, WSU has added a bonus match. KELLIE SKATER, from Australia comes halfway around the world to make her WSU debut, taking on BARBIE, who returns to WSU after a 4 year absence. With one wrestler debuting and one wrestler making a long awaited return, this match should be ultra-competitive!
Full card after the cut:

Rather coincidentally, the next couple of months will feature a slew of female wrestling promotions returning to action — or as the case may be, debuting. Throw in WrestleMania as well, and the two months ahead are looking rather busy!
It all kicks off this weekend when WSU presents it’s fourth anniversary show live on Internet pay per view. Then, throughout the month we will also see SHIMMER, NCW Femmes Fatales and the debut of Allison Danger’s Pro Wrestling SUN.
April will see a two night return for Europe’s Pro-Wrestling: EVE. And lest we forget ‘Mania?
