“Road to Double Or Nothing” announces women’s triple-threat

Today, Cody and Brandi Rhodes announced via Twitter that they would release the newest episode of “The Road To Double Or Nothing” on Cody’s YouTube channel, Nightmare Family.

Brandi encouraged fans to view the video, in anticipation for a women’s division announcement.

All Elite Wrestling’s short behind-the-scenes video lasted just over five minutes, and included snippets from last Thursday’s Double Or Nothing rally, as well as fans’ and wrestlers’ reactions to the news announced during the rally.

In one particular scene, Dr. Britt Baker, DMD, calls Brandi Rhodes to voice her concerns that the other women’s division signees, Kylie Rae and Nyla Rose, seem to have “their own thing”, stating she felt “let out of the picture”. Brandi, the Chief Brand Officer, reassured Baker by stating, “We have big things for you.”

Towards the end of the episode, Cody hands Brandi some promotional images to approve for the upcoming Double Or Nothing event in May. On one of the photos, the promotional image for a triple-threat match can be seen, featuring Nyla Rose, Britt Baker, and Kylie Rae.

Cody notes that Brandi is once again leaving herself off the card, with which she replies that the show is not about her, but about placing focus on the women wrestlers in their division. AEW seems to be placing a heavy emphasis on the division, which Brandi reiterates during the episode. Brandi states, “The women are putting the work in, and they deserve it.”
