Shanna, who participated in her debut match last week on AEW Dynamite against Hikaru Shida has been signed a three-year deal with the company. In an interview with Portuguese Media which has been translated credit to @ucancallme on Twitter, Shanna confirmed this news.
Known as “Portugal’s Perfect Athlete” she has a 13-year history under her belt as she has worked in many indie promotions all around the world such as WSU, Stardom, and Pro Wrestling EVE. She has faced the likes of Santana Garrett, Nikki Cross, LuFisto, and Gail Kim just to name a few.
She did not win her debut match on Dynamite against Shida but she put on a solid performance. She would kick out of a Falcon Arrow but a running knee strike by Shida would put away the newest member of the women’s roster.

Former WWE Diva Kelly Kelly spoke with Lilian Garcia recently on her popular podcast Chasing Glory. During the interview, she spoke on her last appearance with the company during their RAW Reunion in July. At that event many past women superstars who are rarely recognized for their contributions were present and WWE capitalized on that with the 24/7 Championship.
Garcia asks Kelly what was the moment like when she was approached about being involved in the 24/7 Championship segment. She had the following to say:
“Paul Heyman called me and he was like ‘I hope you brought some gear with you’,” Kelly said. After she said she did in a weary response he then said, “We have this idea and you’re going to be the first-ever woman to win the 24/7 title. Do you know that is?” She responded with, “Kinda.”

He said, “It was the hardcore title.” Kelly responded with, “That’s amazing, but what’s the twist? What’s going to happen after.” He said “Well, you’re best friendCandice (Michelle) is going to beat you for it. I was like this is awesome, let’s do it.”
She also spoke about her run with WWE and how she would always go along with what they wanted and didn’t cause any commotion backstage. She would not complain to creative or writers and did what was asked of her.
“I kept my mouth shut and my eyes open. I was never involved with the politics. I was just like whatever the writers are going to write for me, I’m just going to go with it. When it’s my time, it’s my time.”
