TNA Knockout Cookie is featured in a lengthy interview on the Miami Herald website today. Plenty of topics are touched upon, one of which includes the debut of former Jersey Shore star Angelina Pivarnick tomorrow night on Impact.
Speaking on taping the episodes featuring Angelina, she says:
“I can’t wait for fans to see. Robbie, Angelina and I almost got booed out of the building. It was the most amazing feeling in the world. It was electric. We knew we had something to prove. We knew this was a big moment for us as a company to do the tapings on the road. It was a very long day.
“Especially with Angelina being there, but it was a wonderful experience. I couldn’t have asked for it to go better. I’m super excited for people to see these tapings. The fans brought it to a new level, and the performers brought it to a new level.”
Cookie also spoke on her feelings about the other Knockouts in the division, putting over Tara as the ‘mother hen’ of the division.
Spoilers for Friday’s SmackDown below:

After picking up a surprising win over the Divas Champion, Eve, one might think The Bella Twins were in line for a title shot, right? Wrong. On this week’s edition on Raw, The Bellas along with Maryse, Tamina, Alicia Fox, Gail Kim and Natalya take part in a Diva Battle Royal for #1 contendership. Can The Bellas strike gold again and net themselves a shot at the strap or will some other lucky Diva come out on top? Check out the match below:
We kick things off with the champion, Eve, on commentary expressing her thought on the battle royal and facing off with the winner. The official signals for the bell and it’s every woman for themselves. Right off the bat, Natalya grabs Brie Bella and tosses her out of ring, eliminating her. Alicia follows her soon after, also eliminated by Natalya. Meanwhile, Melina knocks Tamina out of the running with a stiff kick to the head.

March 1st is here and so kicks off what we have dubbed ‘Women’s Wrestling Season’. Rather coincidentally, the next couple of months will feature a slew of female wrestling promotions returning to action — or as the case may be, debuting. Throw in WrestleMania as well, and the two months ahead are looking rather busy!
It all kicks off this weekend when WSU presents it’s fourth anniversary show live on Internet pay per view. Then, throughout the month we will also see SHIMMER, NCW Femmes Fatales and the debut of Allison Danger’s Pro Wrestling SUN.
April will see a two night return for Europe’s Pro-Wrestling: EVE. And lest we forget ‘Mania?

Random story of the day: WWE star CM Punk is locked in a Twitter feud with NFL star Shawne Merriman over the WWE Divas.
The WWE roster and Merriman happened to be in Costa Rica at the same time this past weekend when Punk tweeted: “Watching Shawne Merriman of the Buffalo Bills hit on our divas and strike out. Reminds me of the Bills in the Super Bowl.”
This led to some to-and-fro between the pair on Twitter that has caught some buzz.
Speaking to the Chicago Tribune earlier today, Punk explained what happened:

DivaMania has announced its first stop, exclusively to Diva Dirt.
By now you may have heard that there will be a line-up change. The tour was originally due to feature the trio of Jillian Hall, Maria Kanellis and Taryn ‘Tiffany’ Terrell. However, as she has just announced her pregnancy, Jillian has opted to pull out of the tour.
Former WWE Diva Search winner, Ashley Massaro will now replace Jillian.
Plus, former WWE Diva and current TNA Knockout, Winter aka Katie Lea will be the special guest on the first tour stop.
Get all the details on the first date:

The Look: Natalya seems to have a knack for flattering her body while keeping it classy, and this outfit is no different–it hugs her curves and shows a lot of leg, but the high neckline and long sleeves balance out the skin exposure. The dress, which is pretty much a layer of black lace on top of a nude tube dress, looks amazing on her. The see-through elements show just enough, and while a not-quite-skin-tone second layer could look tacky or out of place, it works here, probably because it’s clear she’s not trying
to fool us into thinking that that layer is her skin. In fact, it looks like a taupe color, which neither clashes with the color of her skin or the style of the lace on top. The fact that she keeps everything else simple, makeup and accessory-wise, helps a great deal. That is, of course, not counting her pink highlights, which absolutely pop and compliment the look in an unexpected way. I’m sure a few would tut-tut at the bottom layer peeking out of the bottom of the dress, looking like an exposed slip, but it doesn’t really bother me too much.
The Poses: Usually in Natalya’s photoshoots we get a mix sexy, sweet, and quirky. Here, she’s tossed out most of the quirkiness, and I think that’s probably for the best. This outfit creates a mood better suited for serious poses, and Natalya pulls off a few good ones, giving a smoldering glance over her shoulder and rustling her hair with her hand. I also like the pose with both hands on either side of her head–it’s cute, and provides a small dash of that Natalya quirk. Aside from that, it’s rather typical, and the fact that it’s a studio shoot with a white background doesn’t add much more interest. Maybe a background in a different neutral color would have made the more conventional poses pop a little better.
Former WWE Divas, Angela Fong (Savannah) and Lilian Garcia, along with Kevin Nash, took part in a pro wrestling panel discussion yesterday at Miami Comic Con. Check out the video below: Thanks to Scott for the tip!

In perhaps one of the most unique and funny interviews with a WWE Diva, Cleveland.com’s self-professed ‘Pop Diva’ Andrea Simakis caught up with Kelly Kelly ahead of the SmackDown taping in Cleveland this coming Tuesday.
The whimsical and sarcastic style of the ‘Pop Diva’ sees her ask about her breasts being all natural, why she’s got the same name twice and even her grandmother.
A few highlights:

(Sorry for the lateness of this Redux. I don’t make this a habit but last night a migraine hit me and I couldn’t finish it. So yeah, apologies everyone.)
The six-hundredth episode of SmackDown went off without a hitch in my humble opinion and to say the Elimination Chamber was amazing would be an understatement. The momentum kept on rolling with a solid Raw, so with history not on the side of the Divas, this SmackDown can either be a hit, or it can be a total miss. I’m not entirely sure which it’s going to be because I’m writing this intro without having watched the show. So how about you great readers take this journey with me this week?
SmackDown doesn’t really waste any time getting started this week. Before the intros even roll, a video package highlighting last week’s firing of Dolph Ziggler is shown. This is relevant to us Diva fans because number one, Dolph is sexy, and number two, it involves Vickie Guerrero. And Vickie is made of win. Once the package concludes, SmackDown General Manager, Theodore Long, is shown on the screen. He says that due to Vickie’s involvement with Dolph and Dolph’s attack on him (Teddy), Teddy has every right to fire Vickie. But instead of doing that, he is going to give Vickie a chance to fight for her job. Tonight’s main event is going to be a mixed tag team match featuring the team of Vickie and former Intercontinental Champion, Drew McIntyre, taking on the team of Kelly Kelly and the World Heavyweight Champion Edge. If Drew and Vickie lose, then Vickie can kiss her SmackDown career goodbye. Teddy smiles, takes off his glasses, and the SmackDown intro begins to play.
Do you know the enemy….
Former SHIMMER Champions, MsChif and Sara Del Rey go one-on-one tonight at ROH’s 9th Anniversary Show which will air live on iPPV. The show kicks off at 8.30pm ET via GoFightLive.tv. Oh what a week it has been! I am so glad that now is the time for the weekly Diva Dirt TNA Impact Write-Up! I want to thank you for joining me and strapping in for this rollercoaster ride! Last week, we saw a beautiful former TNA Knockout return to the Impact Zone in the form of Traci Brooks. She took out the mean mugging Cookie to help her man, Kazarian. We also saw a hot sauce feud begin to come to an end between two current Knockouts and we were given a sneak peek into this week’s Impact. This week, we finally get to see how this Open Challenge fiasco is going to work for the self-proclaimed “Queen” of the Knockouts division. We are also graced with a load of backstage happenings that I can’t even begin to describe so let’s put this baby in gear and get on the road! It’s time for some action!
Our first glimpse of the Knockouts comes in the form of The Beautiful People, Angelina Love and Velvet Sky in their dressing room(aka the trailer park). Angelina seems to be trying to talk her BFF out of the career threatening match with Sarita, a challenge issued last week. Velvet says she’s aware of what Angelina is trying to say but what would Angelina do in her situation? A. Love comes back with the fact that Sarita is the point and Sarita is just loco. Not to mention, her little chihuahua of a cousin, Rosita, running around behind her. Angelina even goes on to say that it isn’t Velvet’s ability(like everyone else thinks) but it’s Sarita and she’s crazy. Velvet says it’s nothing personal but she just needs to be alone. She needs to be alone to collect her thoughts and that’s just what she gets. Angelina leaves Vel Vel to pinch her nose and battle her demons on her own. Oh Velvet. I feel for you but I hate your outfit.
