Quick Match News:
(Full previews coming soon)
On 11/19 we will see two huge main events. Following the heels of our huge 8/6 double dvd taping, where DVDs are now on sale at WSUvideo.com, the smoke was all cleared and we saw the formation of the Midwest Militia. With new WSU commissioner Amy Lee in the saddle, Lee announced that it will be Jessicka Havok finally getting her WSU World Title shot at Mercedes Martinez on 3/3/12, in addition to Savage getting her WSU Spirit Title rematch against Sassy Stephanie, in addition to Alicia getting her shot to get revenge on the person who attacked her mother, Allisyn Kay. But before we get to 3/3/12, the three most heated rivalries in all of WSU will come to a head in the most explosive and most dangerous match in all of womens wrestling – a WARGAMES MATCH!

Former WWE Womens Champion Melina will be making her WSU debut on 11/19. Melina joins names such as Jillian Hall, Luna Vachon, Christy Hemme, Jazz, Ivory, Dawn Marie, Molly Holly and others as someone with WWE experience looking to start anew in the biggest womens wrestling promotion today. Someone also on that list is Serena Deeb, a person who is not happy about Melina coming to WSU. Serena told WSU she will be releasing a video message about Melina’s debut in WSU where she will explain why she’s not thrilled with Melina in WSU.

Melina, who has a very storied career in WWE, wants to prove to the world that she is not just a diva, but a full-fledged womens wrestler. She will get that opportunity on 11/19. Serena is calling herself “The Best in the World”. We’ll find out if that rings true on 11/19 in this first time ever one-on-one clash.

The Boston Shore are your current WSU tag team champions and are currently undefeated as a unit in WSU. Both members of the Shore, Amber & Lexus feel like they have not been getting the proper respect, press or treatment by fans and critics alike. Both members of the Shore looked to change all that on 8/6, and boy did they. Amber had the best match of her WSU singles career, pushing WSU Spirit Champion Sassy Stephanie to the limit. However, the big talk of the town was Lexus, who became a main eventer in her own right, when she made history with Mercedes Martinez by having the longest match ever in womens wrestling, going 73 minutes. No one has ever pushed Martinez this far or this hard. Martinez has been champion for 30 months, and has made 45 world title defenses in that time, but never was she put to the brink like she was by Lexus.

Still, while accomplishing impressive single feats, the Boston Shore are the WSU tag champions, a championship that the Shore feels needs to be respected more in WSU. The Shore did just that when they attacked Rain & Serena after Rain & Serena duked it out for nearly 15 minutes. While this original match was supposed to be The Shore vs Rain & Serena, Serena asked to leave this match because she had something to prove and said she would handle the Shore on her own time. WSU asked Rain to find another partner, and Rain went all the way to the United Kingdom to do it, in the form of the returning JETTA!

Rain & Jetta, the IHWC, will be re-united in WSU when they challenge the tag champs. For the Shore, this will be the biggest match of their tag team careers. For Rain & Jetta, this is a perfect way to get right back to the top of the womens wrestling world.

WSU and NYWC have been working together for several years now. NYWC, NY’s premier independent organization has recognized WSU championships on their shows. WSU has repaid the favor and recognizes the NYWC Starlet Championship. WSU wants to put on a match to feature all the top contenders for that championship currently, and decided to put them all in one match. On 11/19, 6 stars will compete for the honor of being NYWC Starlet Champion. For current champion Nikki Syx, she will have to outlast 5 other competitors in elimination rules to retain her title. For the challengers, anyone can win a match like this, and there are very good chances we can see a new champion on 11/19…

If you have been following WSU, it is no secret that there is a miscommunication issue and problems among the Belle Saints. The Saints are getting one last shot to get back on the same page and have a major match to focus on come 11/19, as the Belle Saints will challenge the Soul Sisters with the winner becoming the new number 1 contenders to the WSU Tag Team titles.

Marti Belle left 8/6 promising to drop a major bomb about Tina San Antonio. However, Marti has since told WSU that the team comes first and her and Tina have worked out their issues privately. That remains to be seen. The Saints want to reclaim the WSU Tag Team titles and we will see if they can get back on that path on 11/19.

For the Soul Sisters, Jana & Latasha, this duo has been with WSU from day one. Despite being with WSU for nearly 5 years now, the tag team has never held the WSU Tag Team Titles together. The Soul Sisters are re-dedicating their focus on fulfilling that ultimate goal and are looking to become the new WSU Tag champions. A win over the Belle Saints will put them one step closer.

Jennifer Cruz & Niya are up and comers in WSU, but in recent times, have been on the losing end of too many matches. WSU is being flooded with requests from wrestlers all over the world and are currently having trouble getting everyone on the roster on every show. Talent cuts need to be made, and it starts on 11/19. WSU wants to focus on the most successful wrestlers in womens wrestling today. Niya & Cruz currently sport the worst win-loss record out of everyone in WSU in 2011. The winner of this match will be given another chance to grow with WSU at the 5 Year Anniversary Show. The loser of this match will be forced to watch the 5YA Show at home on iPPV. This is a Loser Leaves WSU match, with the winner keeping their job in WSU and the loser looking for work.

We will have more matches & talent announced for this show in the upcoming weeks, in addition having a link to order the iPPV at GoFightLive.tv.[/notice]

Ariane Andrew and Christina Crawford Re-added to FCW Website

The FCW website has officially re-added the profiles of both Tough Enough alumni, Christina Crawford and Ariane Andrew as of this morning.

Last week, Andrew’s profile was removed just days after her addition to the site, but it looks as if they just placed her on the site too soon.

Meanwhile, Christina has been re-added to the site after her profile was taken down earlier this year when she gave up her developmental contract to take part in Tough Enough.

Ariane is going by the name Cameron Lynn in FCW, while Christina has re-assumed her pre-Tough Enough name, Caylee Turner.

WWE SummerSlam 2011: Kelly Kelly Overcomes the Glam Slam

Divas Champion, Kelly Kelly, retained her title against Beth Phoenix tonight at SummerSlam after stealthily countering the Glam Slam into a victory roll.

Kelly upset the Glamazon following a good match that saw Beth dominate Kelly. However, Kelly also had some shining spots including a great crossbody to Phoenix on the outside.

However, despite winning the match, it looks like Kelly has only infuriated the Glamazon even more. This one is far from over…

Thoughts: Enjoyable match that got decent time. The finish was the best move to make, as much as Beth fans will be unhappy, as it allows the feud to continue and grow over the coming month and hopefully lead to a rematch at the next PPV.

What did you think? Did Beth vs Kelly live up to you expectations?

In Video: Stephanie McMahon Appears at SummerSlam

WWE Executive Vice President of Creative Development, Stephanie McMahon, made a cameo appearance at SummerSlam tonight in a backstage segment with CM Punk.

The former General Manager and Women’s Champion appeared to wish Punk good luck for his WWE Championship match later in the evening, leading to a back and forth between the pair.

Stephanie referenced Punk’s promo on Raw a couple of months ago, saying: “I’m just Vince McMahon’s clueless daughter, right?” Punk corrected her, “I called you idiotic.”

When Stephanie went to extend her hand for a handshake at the end of the segment, Punk delivered another zinger: “I would, but I know where that hand has been.”

Thoughts: Stephanie looked great. Very nice surprise!

WWE SummerSlam 2011 Predictions: Beth Phoenix vs Kelly Kelly

33

Tonight, Kelly Kelly defends the Divas Championship against Beth Phoenix. Can she overcome the Diva of Doom? The Diva Dirt team weighs in:

April: SummerSlam is the biggest party of the summer so what better way to celebrate than with a new champion? I think Beth Phoenix is going to dominate in this match. She and Natalya have been on a roll lately and they have plenty of points to prove. Kelly spent so much time fighting against Brie and now, she’s going against a near unstoppable force in Beth. I can see the champ putting up a hell of a fight but I believe Miss Phoenix is going to be too much for her to handle.

Bobby: I’ve liked this feud so far, especially because Beth (and Natalya) have been given the microphone to help build it up. I really think putting the title on Beth at SummerSlam is the wrong move because Night of Champions is in her hometown, and I’d love to see this feud continue on for another month or so before Beth wins. I can see Beth accidentally knocking Natalya off the ring apron and Kelly Kelly picks up the win with a quick roll up to retain her belt. Then we build up some more until NOC where Beth w/ Natalya faces Kelly w/ Naomi (dream world)…

Cryssi: I honestly see this match going either way and I’m not even gonna bother trying to predict a storyline or whatever. I full believe this feud is just beginning so I see Kelly Kelly picking up the win tonight but only by disqualification.

Katelyn: I pick Beth Phoenix to take the win – her undeniable strength and skills plus Natalya in her corner make for a formidable team, and I’m not sure whether poor Kelly stands much of a chance against them. Still, Kelly chasing after the gold again post SummerSlam should make for some fun viewing.

Melanie: I’m with Cryssi. I could see it going either way. I could see Beth taking the victory, finally winning the Divas Title, and I could see Kelly retaining. My gut instinct is to go with the champion here to continue building up this feud. I say Kelly Kelly wins via a surprise roll-up to retain.

Steven: Even with the incredible momentum she’s gained since her heel turn, I don’t think she’ll be winning the title tonight. Kelly Kelly has been one of the most doubted Divas Champion since the title’s inception and I think she really needs this win to make her a legitimate champion in the fans’ eyes. That said, I don’t see her picking up a clean pinfall victory, as it would take all the wind out of Beth Pheonix’s sails. Expect Kelly Kelly to win by DQ or count out and continue her feud with Beth until the next PPV.

Who do you think is going to win?

Then, rather sarcastically, said: “I’m just a big Kelly Kelly fan.” Just look pretty with your beard, Orton.

Impact Write-Up (August 11, 2011): Taramacher: The New Power Couple of Impact Wrestling

39

It’s like I am the central magnet for all things “technical difficulties.” Either that or there are little gnomes running around the Internetz messing with all my shit. I am writing this intro for the second time because apparently, when I sent it in Saturday morning, the write-up never went through. I didn’t save all of it because I just finished it in the post editor. I was busy, didn’t get a chance to check back until late and it was nowhere to be found. Diva Dirt ate my write-up. It isn’t an excuse. It’s the truth. I swear. Quit looking at me like that.

This past Sunday at Hardcore Justice, we saw a new crowning of the Knockouts Champion in Winter. We also saw a tag team match where the champs retained their golden straps of power. Then my birthday was on Wednesday, which lead into this week on Impact. We’re following up with the Knockouts to see just how hardcore they got at the pay-per-view. Two matches in store, one single and the other with a little two-on-two action. It’s another healthy serving of Impact Wrestling with plenty of Knockouts stirred in so let’s clear this dinner plate!

The singles match starts off the Knockouts action with Christy Hemme calling the ladies to the ring. I’m serious when I say this, please stop wearing dresses with belts. Honestly, girl, I don’t know where you’re shopping but please find a new store. SHE’S A KILLER QUEEN! Out first is the ever so doting Madison Rayne in my new favorite outfit. It looks like she’s cut her hair and darkened it a bit, crown polished on top. I adore her and so do the fans, if you can’t tell. HARDCORE COUNTRY! Her opponent, the former Knockouts Champion Mickie James, is out next and she’s looking pretty snazzy herself. Seems like the Knockouts have given themselves a bit of a makeover in the past couple of weeks. Love Mickie’s new hair.

It also seems like Mickie has recovered from the mess that Winter spit in her eyes at Hardcore Justice. However, she may not recover from the toddler-esque antics of Moody Madison. The bitchy Knockout on the roster screams her way through the match, playing possum and even using her shady technique to distract the referee. This leads to some kind of weird thumb/rake to the eye on Mickie, while the official gets rid of a bracelet. What is with the damage on Mickie’s eyes? I don’t get it but Moody doesn’t care. She claws at Mickie’s face and grinds her face into the mat, slamming her around. An attempt at her oddball leg-scissors head-drop knee stomp…I’m really sick of trying to figure out the name of that move. Haha. Regardless, it didn’t work.

Mickie rolls her over into a pin attempt but it’s no good. The exchange was far too awkward but the left hands on the comeback are not. A quick takedown and Moody once again attempts to beg for mercy. Mickie isn’t having it and spins around, landing that low dropkick. We’ve learned that this is a number one contenders match to face Winter for the title. Another pin attempt but only a near fall. Harsh forearm shots but Madison comes back with a looping elbow, only to get dropped like a breakfast pancake on a platter at Denny’s. Mickie kips up, goes up top and SLAM! with a Thesz Press from the top rope. The crowd is loving it and Mickie takes the time to play around, donning Madison’s tiara. She plays up to the crowd, even giving us a bow which seems to work in her favor when Madison goes for a running clothesline. She misses, rebounds off the rope and gets a kick to the gut for her effort. Into the DDT and Mickie James goes for the cover….1, 2 and 3! Mickie is the number one contender for the Knockouts Championship. I’m guessing rematch clauses don’t stand any ground in TNA?

In an effort to show the management team of Impact Wrestling how they’ve changed their ways, ODB and Jackie have been given one last chance. This tag team match is that chance. I imagine if they screw it up, they’ll just keep terrorizing the entire Knockouts locker room but I suppose we’ll find that out later. Their opponents are the Knockouts Tag Team Champions, Tara and….Brooke…Tessmacher. Okay. I saw that slip of the tongue at the pay-per-view but the emphasis that is laid on her real name just slays me. I’m just going to stick with calling them Taramacher and go from there.

They come out on the crotch rocket, matching in their red and black and show their love for one another in more than a few ways. In the ring, both teams look to be strategizing but it’s Jackie and Miss Tessmacher that start it off. I’m sorry, Brooke…Tessmacher. I don’t know if I can get used to that. I just trained myself to call her Tessmacher. Haha. Regardless, she’s got Jackie in a side headlock and ODB is screaming at her partner not to grab the weave. They have to behave. No snatching of the weaves today, ladies.

A rebound off the ropes and both women bounce off one another, but Brooke (I can do it!) hits Jackie with a dropkick. A spring off the ropes into a hip toss, drop toehold and damn, Brooke is wrestling it up with Jackie. I know you saw that! Haters to the left. Tara wants in so Brooke backs it up and in she comes, flipping over the ropes into the roll-up. It’s a no-go but it isn’t over. A nice arm/wrist lock on Jackie, who keeps grabbing at the weave. And ODB keeps reminding her “DON’T GRAB THE WEAVE! WE NEED OUR JOBS!” Their jobs depend on their attitudes in this match. Unbeweavable! But ODB is in with the tag and she gets tossed like yesterday’s garbage by Tara, who instantly goes for that arm lock. Pressure on the shoulder and Tessmacher wants in. She tries to hold up what Tara had going on but ODB is stronger, so naturally.

But Brooke is feisty and puts all her effort into running ODB into the corner. She hits the turnbuckles and drops down, giving the perfect opportunity for some asstastic booty poppin’! Holler! Brooke celebrates and ODB looks like she wants to take that cheap shot but the constant reminder of rehabilitation is lingering in the shadows. Eat your heart out, John Grisham! Ha! Back to the ring, Brooke goes for the roll-up but ODB ain’t having it. She kicks out and looks to make a victim out of Big Booty Brooke, but the petite brunette is quick. She sneaks over to Tara, tags her in and in comes Jackie. Both women are legal and quick on the fight. Another side headlock on Jackie but Tara goes into the ropes, nearly clocked by ODB.

BUT NO! ODB NO!

They’re killing me with this trying to behave themselves. I’m pretty sure this is the first time they’ve ever done this in their entire life. Stopping each other from taking cheap shots. It’s seriously comedic to me. But the rebound back body slam to Tara is no joke. Neither is ODB going up to the top rope and dropping on her “yam bag”. Don’t ask me what the hell that is. It’s another Taz line. Insert a hard superplex from that top rope position and both women are down. The crowd is electric and it’s down to which woman can get the tag first. And it’s Tara! Tessmacher runs in and just starts taking out both ODB and Jackie but all the excitement soon leads to an unintentional double team. Uh-oh! You better check yoself before you wreck yoself! Jackie, being the voice of reason, stops the stomps before it gets too far out of hand.

Tara, the opportunist, sees the spot to run across the ring and spear the hell out of ODB when she steps away. This leaves Jackie vulnerable and Brooke, from behind, rolls her up and secures the win for her team. Regardless of their bully nature, ODB and Jackie suck it up and extend hands to Taramacher, slapping them away when connected. Still rude and crude but it doesn’t matter. The tag team champs have secured themselves another win and proven yet again that they are bound for dominance.

Thoughts: Sorry that it’s kinda blah and just me talking a bunch of hoopla but I wasn’t going to re-write the whole thing. It’s almost midnight and I’m tired but at least I re-wrote it. I just hope that the site loves me enough to go grocery shopping and never eats my post again. Haha. Anyway, great week for the Knockouts. Both matches were good, in their own right. Mickie/Madison was rather nerdicus but Taramacher/ODB&Jackie was really good. I love the dynamic of Taramacher and i have to say that Brooke gets better every week. Anyway, it’s past my bedtime. I shall see you darlings next week so until that time, my lovies! xoxo

What did you guys think about this week’s Impact? Tell me about it!

SmackDown Redux (August 12th, 2011): Introducing the Divas of Doom

22

After turning heel on their respective brands last week, Beth Phoenix and Natalya have come together to form their own faction, Divas of Doom, dedicated to destroying all the perky princess Divas in the WWE. Their first targets? SmackDown’s rookie Divas, AJ and Kaitlyn. Can the Chick Busters pull out an upset victory or will the Divas of Doom steamroll over them, building even more momentum going into SummerSlam.

Check out the match below to find out:

Kaitlyn and AJ are already in the ring awaiting their opponent as DOD make their entrance. I must admit, Beth and Nattie are quite formidable as a unit. If I was AJ or Kaitlyn, I’d probably try to make a run for it, but that’s just me. Natalya step into the ring to kick things off for their respective teams and our Diva tag match is underway.

Right off the bat, Natalya grabs a handful of Kaitlyn’s hair, looking to prove her dominance over the NXT winner. Kaitlyn breaks free and slaps on a waistlock, but Nattie escapes with a hip attack, followed by a slap across the face. While the rookie Diva is still stunned, Nattie lays her out with a scoop slam and tags in her partner Beth Phoenix.

The veteran Divas lift poor Kaitlyn over their head and nearly put her through the mat with a double team electric chair drop for only a two count. Frustrated with Kaitlyn’s tenacity, Beth whips her into the corner and charges in for the kill, but Kaitlyn evade and scrambles to tag in her fellow Chick Buster, AJ.

AJ comes into the match like a house of fire, using her speed to dodge a blow from the Glamazon and hits an offensive flurry of her own, almost taking the former Women’s Champion off of her feet. Unfortunately for AJ, Beth manages to reverse the wheelbarrow maneuver into a Glam Slam to pick up the win for her team.

Post-match, Beth grabbed AJ and tossed her out of the ring, while Nattie locked Kaitlyn into the Sharpshooter as Beth watched on.

Short, but sweet match for the Divas this week. While it may not have been much, I think it achieved its purpose: To make Divas of Doom look dominant going into SummerSlam. And it worked.

As for the Chick Busters, while they not be picking up many wins, I think they are progressing nicely in the ring. Especially Kaitlyn. I know I gave the NXT3 winner a lot of grief during her season and after her win, but I think she is trying her her best to improve as a wrestler and it’s showing. While I definitely think she and AJ have room for improvement, I’ve enjoyed their work on SmackDown recently.

We also had another encounter between Teddy Long and Aksana, who debuted two brand new Aksanaisms: “Why you long, Teddy?” and “Do you want to do me with business?” Classic…

Although I’m liking Aksana in this role, it seems tailor-made for FCW/NXT’s Maxine, who is known for using her feminine wiles to attain power. Oh well, we’ll just have to have and see how this Aksana storyline plays out in the coming weeks.

All in all, I thought the SmackDown Divas had a good week. The new union of Natalya and Beth is quite interesting and makes me wonder how Kelly Kelly will overcome the odds at SummerSlam this weekend…

SummerSlam Rewind: Divas Battle Royal (2007)

This weekend, we take a look back at SummerSlams of years past as we get ready for the big Divas Championship match between Beth Phoenix and Kelly Kelly at SummerSlam 2011.

It was in 2007 that both Beth and Kelly made their SummerSlam debuts in a Divas battle royal that was won by the Glamazon.

In Pictures: Eve Torres Shines at ‘Be a Star’ Anti-Bullying Rally

Former Divas Champion, Eve Torres, may have taken the name of yesterday’s event a little literally.

Eve looked very glam in a sparkly, shiny top at WWE and The Creative Coalition’s ‘Be a Star’ anti-bullying rally.

Other stars at the event included David Arquette, Jordin Sparks and Brittany Snow.

Eve finished off her day look with some jeans a pair of cute sandals to bring her outfit together. Very appropriate for a child-friendly event, but stylish too.

WWE Superstars Redux (August 11th, 2011): The Bigger They Are, The Harder They Fall…

SmackDown’s Foxy Queen has certainly had a reign that makes all of the other Divas look like mince meat. Sadly, it means nothing because she’s not in a storyline. Still, the challengers keep coming and Alicia Fox keeps hitting them out of the ballpark.

Having taken out the likes of AJ, Kaitlyn and Natalya in various singles and tag matches, this week Foxy gets quite the workout in the much larger and more powerful Tamina.

Watch below:

Out first is the cocky, arrogant Ms Fox followed by the Superfly’s spawn, who has a very determined look on her face. Tamina is not playing.

A staredown ensues in the ring as the bell rings. The Divas go for a lock-up but Tamina shoves Fox. The sly Fox tries to shake it off, stroking her hair, working her swagger etc. Tamina talks some trash which does not make Alicia happy. This time they actually lock up and Fox hits a takedown on Tamina. Before Tamina can get to her feet, the quick, stealthy Fox channels her inner-Catwoman kicking Tamina in the face. Pin attempt by Fox but Tamina quickly kicks out.

The Divas get to their feet as Tamina shoves Fox into the corner and charges at her, but all she walks into is a back elbow. As Tamina attends to her face, Alicia blindsides her with a quick roll up attempt but again, no three count.

Tamina gets back up and quickly lays in a boot to Alicia’s midsection. The Samoan Princess attempts to intimidate Fox with fighting words before tossing her across the ring by her hair. Tamina begins overpowering Fox with boots wearing her down. She then chokes Fox over the middle rope. Tamina continues her control over Alicia by slamming her against the mat and applying a headlock. Alicia tries to break free, getting to her feet and hitting Tamina with elbows, but is once again slammed back down to the mat by her hair.

Tamina hits a running headbutt on Alicia, connecting with her midsection, and then lets out a smirk, admiring her handiwork. Tamina with a pin attempt now but Fox kicks out.

Another headlock submission by Tamina and again Alicia tries to break free. This time, Tamina strikes Alicia across the stomach with a knee and whips her against the ropes, however Alicia fires back with a clothesline. Seemingly finding a second wind, the momentum quickens as Alicia comes back with not one but two dropkicks — something we rarely see from Fox. The first dropkick was particularly superb. Another pin attempt but this time Tamina just flings her off of her with ease. Alicia with forearms. Irish whip attempt but Tamina reverses. Tamina goes for a back body drop but Alicia halts in her tracks and kicks Tamina in the face.

Alicia bounces off the ropes but Tamina manages to catch her and sets up a Samoan Drop but Alicia elbows her way out of it. Fox kicks Tamina across the back of her leg, cutting her down and setting her up for the scissors kick. Fox connects and it’s all over!

Thoughts: I didn’t enjoy this match as much I have previous matches on Superstars. I think it started off interestingly with Alicia showing off her swagger and not letting Tamina’s words get to her. Then it got kind of slow and plodding with the headlocks. Things then finally picked up in the end with Alicia’s comeback and win. I would say the match was so-so in terms of entertainment, but technically it was fine.

It’s rare to see Alicia as the underdog in a match and her be the one mounting a big comeback at the end. Usually it’s her opponent who makes the comeback. An interesting position for Alicia that saw her use moves we wouldn’t usually see from her i.e. dropkicks.

Foxy notches up another win. Who could she face next? I’m still waiting to see a singles match with AJ.

FCW TV Taping Spoilers for September Shows

Last night FCW filmed another three weeks of footage at the official arena in Tampa, Florida to air throughout the month of September.

Check out the Diva related results below:

Spoiler
September 4th, 2011

* Kenneth Cameron and Tito Colon with Raquel Diaz defeated Mike Dalton and Abraham Washington after a gutbuster followed by a lungblower on Dalton.

*FCW Florida Heavyweight Champion Bo Rotundo and FCW Divas Champion and Queen of FCW Aksana were interviewed in the back by Briley Pierce. Bo was asked about his brother’s match against Conor O’Brian and Husky Harris enters the area and he tells Bo that Aksana is bad for him and that she is keeping him from being brought up to the main roster.

*Maxine and Leo Kruger are in Norman Smiley’s office and Steve Keirn tells Maxine that she is the FCW General Manager again. Keirn says that he wants to talk to Kruger about his match with Bo Rotundo for the FCW Florida Heavyweight Title. Maxine tells Norman that he is going to be the referee for the match between Kruger and Rotundo next week for the FCW Heavyweight Title.

*Conor O’Brian with Ricardo Rodriguez and Raquel Diaz defeated Husky Harris with a boot to Harris after Harris almost knocked Diaz off the apron.

September 11th, 2011

*FCW Divas Champion and Queen of FCW Aksana defeated Audrey Marie with a spinebuster. After the match, Aksana attacked Audrey and sent her into the ring steps.

Thoughts: A lot of non-match related segments in the first episode. I guess Raquel Diaz has been transferred to Tito Colon since her client, Alexander Rusev was abruptly injured and will be out for some time. It’s good to see Maxine back in power, however I wish she could be brought up to the main roster. Onto the second episode, it’s interesting to see Aksana throw Audrey into the ring steps, however I’m not sure if it will lead anywhere considering the third episode was devoted solely to an ironman match between Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose. Melina to Debut for WSU on November 19th iPPV, Details on Her Opponent

Former Divas Champion, Melina, will return to the ring on November 19th as part of WSU’s fall Internet pay per view.

We can pretty much deduce that Melina’s opponent will be none other than fellow former Diva, Serena. Serena was due to team with Rain against the Boston Shore at the event but was just yesterday pulled from that match, however is still booked for the event. Expect this match to be made official on Monday.

Serena’s replacement in the tag match will be British wrestler, Jetta, who went into semi-retirement last year. Jetta and Rain will reunite and reform the International Homewrecking Crew on November 19th.

So, get ready fans… Melina. iPPV. November 19th.

In Pictures: Divas Hit Red Carpet for Annual SummerSlam Kick Off Party

31

As has become an annual tradition, the WWE invaded LA this week — and there was plenty of fake tan for everyone — as the annual SummerSlam kick off party took place last night.

This year, however, it’s been cleverly renamed as a ‘Be a Star’ event held in conjunction with the Creative Coalition, probably to pull in a better Hollywood crowd than years before. *Cough* It worked. This year’s red carpet saw the likes of Kellan Lutz, he of Twilight fame, and Jennifer Love Hewitt.

But of course, we don’t care about the celebrities — we care about what the Divas are wearing!

Perhaps the biggest thing coming out of WWE’s red carpet event is this late, breaking news: Brie Bella is now rocking bangs. Speaking of Brie, she also picks up our best dressed award for the night, with Alicia Fox coming second.
