On June 13 we are going to celebrate Fred Rosser. Here at Diva Dirt we do not highlight men very often, but some men can be Divas too
Fred Rosser, formerly known as Darren Young in WWE, is the first openly WWE gay male wrestler. Other men have come out after their time in WWE, but Rosser was the first to do it while still with the company. Rosser came out during a TMZ reporting stopping him to interview him at an airport.
He has been wrestling since 2002 and worked for WWE from 2010 to 2017 although he did work for the promotion as early as 2005. He was best known for his tag team with Titus O’Neil in WWE. They were named The Primetime Players and are former WWE Tag Team Champions. He was also part of the Nexus stable.
Since his departure from WWE, Rosser continues to wrestle for NJPW and NWA. He is a former NJPW Strong Openweight Champion.
