After successfully defending her Divas Championship on last week’s edition of Monday Night Raw against Natalya, it looks Eve is looking to face off against new challengers. This week, Eve teams up with Gail Kim to take on The Bella Twins. Will the dastardly duo use their ‘Twin Magic’ to get one up on the champ, or can Eve and Gail get revenge for the backstage beatdown they received last week?
Check out the match below:
We start things off with all four competitors in the ring and The Bella Twins are busy talking a lot of smack. Hope they can back that up. Before the match starts, we’re treated to a replay of last week’s brawl. I swear, the image of a Bella snatching Eve up by the throat will be forever etched into my memory. With the replay done, the official signals for the bell and our match is underway.

It’s funny how things work out sometimes, isn’t it? You take a throw away pay-per-view like the Elimination Chamber, the show that’s get stuck between the big two, and you put together a rather weak card of five matches that leaves so much to be desired. For Diva fans the show appeared to suck even more because there wasn’t a match announced at all. I can’t speak for everyone, but I didn’t really want to watch the show. All day I debated whether or not to order it and my gut kept telling me to do it; give the show a chance and you won’t be disappointed. The show ended up getting ordered and low and behold it blew the Royal Rumble completely out of the water. Not only did the matches deliver, but the show was full of surprises. New champions were crowned, both Elimination Chambers far exceeded expectations, and the WWE continued their theme of shock/awe returns. That Diva match never happened but if you want my humble opinion (and you know you do), what we got was much, much better.
When an announcer gets in the ring for what seems to be no apparent reason, I, like all Diva fans should, cringe because it usually spells bad things for the girls. Diva dance offs or bikini contests, or something that’s not a match, usually ends up taking place. So when Booker T got in the ring, my reaction was natural. Booker T has a microphone and he says that he wants to introduce somebody and that this somebody is going to be a trainer on the new season of Tough Enough along with himself and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin. He glances in the direction of the stage and a few seconds later some very familiar theme musics begins to play.
TRISH STRATUS WALKS OUT!
As we pretty much figured last week, Caylee Turner (real name Christina Crawford) has indeed been released from her developmental deal. Crawford is the sister of current Raw Diva, Alicia Fox. According to WrestleZone, Crawford’s release didn’t come as a surprise as there was some drama surrounding her. Take from that what you will. Thoughts: … Read more

Big thanks to DD reader Brandon once again for sending in another live report and pictures from Anarchy Championship Wrestling in Texas:
Before the show, there was a pre-show match featuring “The Wrestling Goddess” Athena. She teamed up with fellow Submission Squad member (and crowd favorite) Davey Vega in a tag match against Super Electro and his robot partner whose name I forgot. The SS duo took the win in this pre-show match, after Athena and Vega hit the SS Destroyer: a wheel-barrel to a DDT double team, where Vega holds Electro with the wheel-barrel position, and Athena plants his opponent with a DDT, with Vega maintaining the wheel-barrel position. Decent match.

The release of ‘Undisputed’, Chris Jericho’s highly recommended second autobiography, got us thinking. It’s been a while since we’ve seen an autobiography from a female wrestler. It’s been 10 years since Chyna released hers and eight since Lita’s. Last year did however see a biography based on the life of the legendary Mildred Burke, but that was written by Jeff Leen and wasn’t self-penned (Burke died in 1989).
So, we sat and we thought about it — who would we like to see put their life in print? We’ve compiled just a few names that we feel could pen a compelling autobiography. As always, we want to hear from you too. Leave your suggestions in the comments!

Our Unwrapped feature is making its return! Every week, coinciding with WWE.com’s weekly photoshoot updates, we’ll take a look at the newest Diva photoshoot and give you the opportunity to voice your opinions on it. Let’s unwrap this week’s eye candy..
Alicia Fox‘s photoshoots have long been Diva Dirt favorites, so imagine our glee when we see a new one pop up today! Does it meet our expectations?
The Look: Despite the fact that her dress is tight and tiny, Alicia looks more cute to me than sexy, and that’s not a bad thing at all. Some Divas’ idea of cute is dressing like a pre-pubescent girl (pigtails, tiny skirts), so Alicia gets major points for pulling off a fun, yet age-appropriate look. The dress, in a bright floral pattern, looks gorgeous, and paired with her slightly tousled wavy hair (which signals that this is an older shoot, given the absence of its current red shade), gives her an easygoing, natural look. I love it.
The Poses: Alicia poses with the ever-present equipment trunk, this time in a lively shade of purple. It makes me wonder if they decided, since they make
such frequent appearances in Diva photoshoots, the trunks should be painted “pretty” (expect painted-on animal print next!). I’m not complaining, though, because the color fits in well with the bright hues on her dress and keeps up the colorful spring theme. Her poses include a lot of the usual lounging and smiling, but a few, namely the ones where she’s looking off-camera, stand out. Alicia exudes such a natural easy-going personality in her photos that shots like those, which may look like silly attempts at glamour shots with other Divas, come off as spontaneous and interesting. Heck, she’s so good at it that even the most plain poses jump off the screen, and this shoot is no expection.

(Well this is awkward… After a four month absence, I am back with just my second blog post. David puts me to shame, don’t he?)
The news earlier this week that reigning Miss USA, Rima Fakih, will be a contestant on the impending revival of WWE Tough Enough lit a fire under my pen. And it seems it also lit a fire under a lot of you too. The recurring theme seems to be: “Great, another model in WWE.” Other criticisms that have popped up include: “It’s a slap in the face to the masses of independent wrestlers that auditioned,” and “Why doesn’t she just do the Diva Search?”
The outpouring of criticism from fans and purists to Fakih’s appointment, in my perhaps unpopular opinion, is shortsighted and once again exemplifies the hasty nature of the Internet. (Shocking, right?)
As soon as a story is out there, there’s a knee-jerk reaction it seems. Look no further than Henry Cavill being cast as Superman. That news a few weeks ago spurred outcries that too many iconic superhero roles were going to British actors and not American ones. Sure, Superman may represent Americana but first of all, it’s fiction! Secondly, the character is not going to be British, so what difference does it make? Before a single frame of footage had been shot, poor (gorgeous) Henry Cavill had a target on his back.
Sound familiar?
Welcome everyone to this glorious edition of the SmackDown Redux dedicated to the A-List’s show 600th episode! Congratulations to the WWE and to all the Divas and Superstars who have appeared on the Blue Brand over the years. SmackDown has proven to itself to be the home for better wrestling, better storyline, and overall, it’s just more consistent on a week-to-week basis. That especially rings true for the Divas, who usually get pushed off the show for special occasions on Raw. SmackDown’s 600th episode provided us with a tag team match that featured Diva’s Champion, Eve, teaming up with the Glamazon, Beth Phoenix, taking on the team of Layla and Maryse. An injured Michelle McCool was at ringside providing commentary.
We kick things off this week with Eve’s terrible theme music blaring throughout the arena. The champ and her partner, Beth, make their way to the stage. They do their trademark poses, play to the crowd, and make their way to the ring. Once inside they pose some more and SmackDown goes to commercial break. When it returns, ex-champ Michelle is at ringside with the trio of announcers that does NOT include Matt Striker anymore (so bitter), and Maryse and Layla are in the ring. Everyone is ready for action.
