Just one day before they appear in the Elimination Chamber, Asuka will be taking on Liv Morgan on this week’s SmackDown. Both women along with four others (Carmella, Nikki Cross, Raquel Rodriguez, and Natalya) will be battling it out on Saturday inside the chamber to decide who faces Bianca Belair for the Raw Women’s Championship … Read more
Carmella has made her in-ring return to Raw and in a big way. She qualified for the last spot for the Elimination Chamber match by winning a Fatal 4-Way that also included Michin Mia Yim, Candice LeRae, and Piper Niven.
Final moments of the match had Carmella in charge against LeRae in the corner. Carmella sidestepped which allowed Niven to hit a cannonball on LeRae. A super kick by the Princess of Staten Island on Niven took her out of the match. She stacked up LeRae to get the pin.
Carmella now joins Raquel Rodriguez, Liv Morgan, Asuka, Nikki Cross, and Natalya for the Elimination Chamber on Feb. 18. The winner of the match will face Bianca Belair for the Raw Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 39.
In a backstage segment post match, Niven ran into LeRae and Yim. She warned them to never get in her way for a championship opportunity again.
A six woman tag team match has been booked for next week’s Raw as the women in the chamber from the red brand take on the women in the chamber from the blue brand. Carmella, Cross, and Asuka vs. Rodriguez, Morgan, and Natalya.
Nikki Cross has finally been caught stalking Candice LeRae. Dexter Lumis drew a picture of Cross watch the Garganos as she was actually watching them. Cross ran off.
Chelsea Green also had a short match against Asuka. All the chamber participants were at ringside. Green was more focused on the women outside the ring which allowed Asuka to get the submission victory. Post match, the Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair came out to say she looks forward to see who she will be facing at WrestleMania.

She took on Bayley to start off Raw this week and came away with the victory after delivering Twisted Bliss. The WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Dakota Kai and IYO SKY accompanied Bayley to the ring. However, Becky Lynch arrived and attacked both Kai and SKY taking them out threw the crowd and away from the ring prior to the match starting. Belair came out to ringside to watch the match.
After Bliss picked up the victory she went to give Belair a hug in the ring and caught the Raw Women’s Champion in Sister Abigail. She wouldn’t execute the move releasing Belair as the two backed away from one another. Just before the Sister Abigail tease, the Bray Wyatt symbol appeared on the big screen behind Belair.
The second match of the night was the advertised Candice LeRae taking on IYO SKY. The two have a lot of history from NXT and LeRae was looking to finally get a win over SKY.
Prior to the match, LeRae had a backstage segment with Johnny Gargano and Dexter Lumis. For another week, Nikki Cross appeared behind LeRae spying on her. SKY would end up winning the match after delivering her moonsault. Damage CTRL celebrated in the ring following SKY’s win. LeRae is still winless against SKY in singles matches.
Lastly, the third women’s match had Asuka taking on Rhea Ripley. Although we have seen this match recently, this time felt different as Asuka came to the ring and wrestled without her normal face makeup on. During the match, commentary brought up Asuka’s recent Twitter postings being unusual. For those who have not been caught up, Asuka has been posting her prior to WWE character Kana frequently on social media since last week.
Asuka would take the loss in this match after she spit mist in the face of Dominik Mysterio. This allowed Ripley to deliver the Riptide.
Are we going to be getting heel Asuka with a debut of Kana? Asuka was last seen on the Dec. 5 episode of Raw where she was in a Triple Threat match to determine who would go on to have a number one contender match. She was unable to win as she was pinned by … Read more
After two Triple Threat battles with all former Raw Women’s Champions on the Dec. 5 episode of Raw, Bayley and Alexa Bliss have earned a Raw Women’s Championship number one contendership match. They will face off next week with the winner going on to face the champion – Bianca Belair.
On this week’s Raw, Bayley won the first Triple Threat match after pinning Asuka off of the Rose Plant finisher. Also in the match was Rhea Ripley. A strong match between the three also had a post-match assault from Ripley to Asuka as she takes out her frustrations from her loss.
Prior to the match, Becky Lynch and Bayley exchanged words. Lynch came down from the crowd to join Bayley in the ring. With Lynch being in the main event in the second Triple Threat, she was hoping Bayley would win so they could face each other next week. As Ripley was heading to the ring, Lynch made her way to the back and the two exchanged a stare down that certainly gave fans something to look forward to at some point in the future.
The second women’s match was the main event with Lynch taking on Nikki Cross and Alexa Bliss. Another lengthy match for the women ended with Damage CTRL’s IYO SKY and Dakota Kai interfering. They pulled Lynch out of the ring and eventually carried her over to the announce table to powerbomb her through it. This allowed Bliss to pick up to victory on Cross after delivering Twisted Bliss.
Earlier in the night when Bliss was getting ready for her match, the Bray Wyatt symbol showed up again on the TV screen behind her for a second. During the Triple Threat, Bliss did exhibit some hints of turning back to Evil Bliss but it never fully committed. She did go for Sister Abigail on Lynch but the move was not executed.
Elsewhere for the women on this week’s Raw, Dana Brooke, Tamina, and Mia Yim were part of the poker game in the back. Yim did accompany The O.C. to the ring for their match.
After getting a big win against Dakota Kai last week, Candice LeRae was interviewed backstage. It was revealed that she will be facing IYO SKY next week. During the interview, for the second week in a row, Nikki Cross was spotted in the background spying on LeRae.
Two Triple Threat Matches have been confirmed for the Dec. 5 episode of Raw. The first match will see Bayley vs. Asuka vs. Rhea Ripley and the second will include Nikki Cross vs. … Read more
WWE held its live house show for its SuperShow Holiday Tour on Dec. 3. The event took place in Rochester, NY. The results courtesy of Cagematch are as follows – Emma defeated Xia Li WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match – Damage CTRL (c) defeated Asuka & Mia Yim
After embracing the WWE Universe, Lynch made her way out into the crowd and started incorporating them into her promo confirming that she is the man of the people. Shortly after, Bayley came out to address her. While Lynch was still in the crowd, Bayley and The Man exchange words back and forth getting the crowd members involved.
This takes place until the rest of Damage CTRL (IYO SKY and Dakota Kai) attack Lynch. As Bayley joins, the three-on-one assault escalates up to the merch stand until all parties involved are pulled apart by officials.
Directly after this, a small video of Rhea Ripley is played before she comes out to face “Michin” Mia Yim. The two rivals who participated in WarGames just 48 hours ago were putting on a stellar match until Judgment Day and The OC got involved which caused a no-contest finish. This then turned into the four-on-four tag team match that was highly anticipated between both factions.
Much like Yim vs. Ripley, this match was also very well received and it included the women even briefly interacting with the men instead of acknowledging mixed tag team rules. The result would come down to Yim and Ripley (as it should) with Ripley picking up the win for Judgment Day off of Riptide. This was after Yim bodyslammed Finn Balor and then targeted Dominik Mysterio.
Moments later, a video was shown about Candice LeRae and how she was taken out a month ago by Damage CTRL. She is back and was walking down a hallway backstage. She was stopped for an interview where she addressed Dakota Kai in particular because she had a match with her later in the night. While LeRae was walking down the hallway, Nikki Cross was hiding as we saw her peek out to take a glance at LeRae.
As stated, LeRae and Kai have a match later in the night. The match was given plenty of time and showcased both women very well. LeRae started the match quickly by attacking Kai when she was making her entrance. Bayley and SKY would attempt to come down to the ring to help but were sent to the back so there was nobody out at ringside. Despite Kai pulling out many moves in her arsenal including the scorpion kick, she wasn’t able to get the victory. LeRae defeated one-half of the Women’s Tag Team Champions with a top rope neck breaker.
Finally, three women from WarGames we hadn’t seen yet were Asuka, Alexa Bliss, and the Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair. Commentary stated that due to the WarGames match, the three women weren’t cleared to compete. They also said despite Bayley and SKY being involved in the brawl earlier in the night, they were also not cleared to compete on Raw. SKY had on a neck brace during the brawl.
There was a backstage interview with Asuka, Bliss, and Belair where they were commenting on WarGames and including Becky Lynch as the final member paying off for their team. Belair stated that every plan Damage CTRL had backfired since SummerSlam. She also would say she is happy to put all of that behind her. Before they began to speak, the Wyatt 6 symbol appeared on the screen behind them. Bliss was checked out during the interview and not engaged. After Asuka spoke, Cathy Kelley asked Bliss if she had anything to add. After clearly being zoned out during the interview, Bliss woke up and said she agreed with what Belair had to say.
Team Bianca Belair are the winners of this year’s WarGames match. Belair was the first competitor in the ring for her team against Dakota Kai for Team Damage CTRL. Thanks to Rhea Ripley, Team Damage CTRL had the advantage of having the next competitor enter. That would end up being the other half of the … Read more
On the go-home episode of Raw for Survivor Series WarGames, Rhea Ripley took on Asuka in the main event. The winner of the match earned the WarGames advantage.
Before we got to the match, there was a promo for the WarGames match. The Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair entered the ring with teammates Alexa Bliss and Asuka. The fourth member of the team, Michin (Mia Yim) wasn’t out with her team but did have a brawl with Ripley earlier in the night.
Belair teases the fifth unannounced member of her team. She says they will be announced this Friday on SmackDown. Damage CTRL, Ripley, and Cross then made their way to the ring. Bayley says that Belair won’t find her fifth member because nobody even respects her. This includes Belair’s own teammates because according to Bayley they are just sucking up to her to be next in line for the title.
Belair says that while Bayley and company are playing games, her team is ready for war. Bliss adds that she will throw Nikki Cross in the trash where she belongs. Asuka says they are ready for war but nobody is ready for us.
The match between Ripley and Asuka came right after and was given plenty of time in the main event. In the final moments of the match, Damage CTRL and Cross plus Belair and Bliss would come to ringside to support their respective team members. Asuka thought she had the match won with a submission but Ripley was able to escape. Ripley would lastly deliver Riptide to get the pin and the victory. Team Damage CTRL has the WarGames advantage.
Post match, the two teams brawled. Michin would eventually join the fight and she and Ripley would brawl into the audience. Asuka delivered a crossbody from the turnbuckle onto the rest of the women to end the show.

Now that Crown Jewel is over, Survivor Series hosting WarGames is the next and reportedly last premium live event of the year. On the Nov. 7 episode of Raw, the field for the women’s WarGames starts to take shape. We already know from the Survivor Series video that the match will be five-on-five. With a total of 10 women in the match we know of seven confirmed names.
The Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair along with Alexa Bliss and Asuka first entered the ring to address what took place at Crown Jewel. Belair was the last woman standing to retain her championship, however, Bliss and Asuka’s reign as tag team champs was left extremely short when Damage CTRL took back the gold.
Damage CTRL would interrupt Belair, Bliss, and Asuka. The two teams would trade words including an argument between Asuka and IYO SKY in Japanese. Bliss would also add that the only reason why Dakota Kai and SKY won the gold back was because of Nikki Cross. The six women would erupt into a brawl before Belair confirmed that they will end this once and for all in WarGames.
Cross would then enter the ring and give the numbers advantage to Damage CTRL as they laid out Belair, Bliss, and Asuka to end the segment.
Later in the night, Cross was seen backstage with Damage CTRL seemingly joining them as the fourth member of their WarGames team. She took on Dana Brooke for the 24/7 Championship and captured the title. With Brooke left in the ring, Bayley would place the championship belt on the shoulder of Cross as the four walked up the ramp.
Moments later, Cross was seen walking with Damage CTRL as she tossed the 24/7 Championship in the trash can (well it fell down next to the trash can).
Also on this week’s Raw, Mia Yim returned and joined The O.C. to combat Rhea Ripley and The Judgment Day. More on that can be read here.
There were separate backstage interviews from The O.C. and The Judgment Day separately about Yim’s return. After Ripley was done with her interview, she ran into Belair on her way to the ring. They shared glances with Ripley acknowledging Belair as champ.
