Out first is the challenger, Melina, minus red carpet and paparazzi. Next, Natalya makes her way to the ring, championship belt in tow. The official presents the belt to the audience, signals for the bell and our match is underway. The lovely ladies lock up and Melina gets the upper hand, forcing Natalya to the ropes. The referee breaks them up, but Melina tackles Nattie, sending her flying out of the ring. Melina picks Nattie up off the floor, slaps her across the face (Just one of many slaps to come tonight) and tosses her back in the ring.

Raw Redux (January 17th, 2011): What Just Happened?

After a week of withdrawal, on this week’s edition of Raw, Diva fans were treated to the match we should have gotten last week: Maryse vs Natalya in a non-title bout. In what I assume is an attempt to make up for the lack of Divas last week, we also got Melina and Eve on guest commentary. Can the third generation Diva and the French-Canadian beauty put on a five star match? Will Melina and Eve get feisty at ringside? Check out the match below and find out:
Out first to the ring first is Maryse, who’s looking fantastic. During her entrance, Cole introduces Eve and an oddly silent Milena, who are ringside on commentary. Next out is Natalya, who practically runs to the ring. Are we short on Diva time already? In the meantime, Cole uses his journalistic prowess to get to the bottom of the issues between Melina and Natalya and is rewarded with icy cold silence from the #1 Contender. Awkward… Cutting his losses, Cole turns his questioning to Eve and brings up the tag match two weeks ago that saw Eve pick up the win over Melina. Eve smoothly deflects the question by talking about thrilled she is to be at ringside for this match. Sure you are…
‘Legacy Award’ Exclusive: A Salute to Trish Stratus in the Words of Her Peers

Last year, we announced the launch of the Diva Dirt Legacy Award, an annual prize that will honor the career achievements and legacies left behind by some of the industry’s finest female talents. Launched in conjunction with the Female Fight League, our first recipient was none other than the multi-talented 7-time Women’s Champion, Trish Stratus.
From her hard work in the ring, to her charm and charisma, her connection with the fans, as well as her shrewd business nature, Trish was — as good ol’ JR used to put it — the quintessential Diva during her seven years with WWE. No female in this industry has able to market themselves quite like Trish, who remains a hot commodity despite retiring nearly five years ago.
While we tip our hats to Trish by honoring her with this award, a few of Trish’s friends and colleagues wanted to join the celebration too!
Raw Redux (January 3rd, 2011): A New Raw Year’s Eve (Torres, That Is)

After a few altercations in the past two weeks, Natalya finally gets to have her way with Melina in a six Diva tag match on this week’s edition of Raw. Will Natalya get the last laugh or will the slap happy Melina take it to the champ once again? Watch below as Nattie, Eve and Brie Bella take on the team of Melina, Maryse and Alicia Fox:
The Divas segment starts off with a replay of the tension between the champ and the #1 contender, which segues nicely into the entrance of Melina’s team. After a quick commercial break, we come back to Nattie’s team in the ring. I can only speak for myself, but I was shocked and confused to see Brie Bella joining Nattie and Eve in this match. With their current storyline with Daniel Bryan, I would have thought there would have been some progression there and Gail Kim would be taking the #3 spot in this match. In any case, the official signals for the bell and Maryse and Brie kick things off for their respective teams.
SmackDown Redux (December 31st, 2010): Glama-Hart Slam the Door on 2010 By Shutting Down Lay-Cool
SmackDown tonight provided us with the perfect ending of the year. Glama-Hart and Lay-Cool put together one last blow off match (I think…) and it was nothing short of spectacular.
Happy New Year!
Backstage at SmackDown, there’s a party going on. Superstars, Divas, general managers, and a leprechaun are milling around as Rosa Mendes comes into focus. She’s hanging out with Hornswoggle for whatever reason. She’s feeding him cheese cubes from a silver platter and makes the comment that two thousand and ten was a pretty good year for her. ‘Swoggle starts making noise, so Rosa corrects herself and says that it has been a good year for “them” and that now, it’s time to celebrate. NXT rookie, Conor O’Brian, appears and stands over Rosa’s shoulder. He eyes her platter of cheese and begins to sniff it. Rosa freaks out a bit and wants to know what he’s doing, all the while turning away from him in disgust. Conor says that he admires Rosa’s cheese and his face starts to twitch. Thankfully for Rosa, the sexy Latin stallion, Alberto del Rio, walks over and demands to know what his rookie is doing. Conor motions towards the cheese and an apologetic Alberto turns to Rosa. He tells her not to mind his rookie and makes a comment about Conor looking like a rat. He then turns to Conor and warns him to leave the lady alone (Rosa smirks), as well as the thing (‘Swoggle enunciates). Alberto and Conor, as well as Ricardo, walk off and Teddy Long stands up on a platform. He welcomes everyone to the party and asks for volunteers to come up and make New Year’s resolutions.
Cue Drew McIntyre who gets up and smiles at Kelly Kelly. He says that all of us can mark it down that in two thousand and eleven, Drew will be a champion. He turns to Kelly and adds that he also wants to be a better person. A smiling Kelly seems to approve of this and unfortunately that probably means that in two thousand and eleven us fans are going to be subjected to more horribly acted segments between these two. Womp womp.
Perfect 10 of 2010: Natalya (#6)

It’s that time of year once again: the Perfect 10 is back to count down the top 10 Divas and Knockouts of 2010. Based on their year’s successes, we’ve compiled (as best we can) the ten Divas and Knockouts we feel gave us a 2010 to remember in WWE and TNA. Check back over the next five days to see the countdown unfold, with the #1 being revealed on New Year’s Eve (Friday).

#6: NATALYA
LAST YEAR: — 2008: —
2010 was the culmination of a dream for Natalya. Having worked her way through the independents, it’s been a long road to the top for the first ever third generation Diva. Her family lineage has long been touted, she of course is the daughter Jim ‘The Anvil’ Neidhart and niece of Bret Hart. But it was in 2010 that Natalya began creating her own legacy as the first lady of the Hart wrestling dynasty.
Though it was in the last quarter of 2010 that Natalya came to prominence in the Divas division, she has been in the thick of things since the start of the year. With her uncle returning to WWE television for the first time in over a decade, Natalya and the Hart Dynasty (DH Smith and Tyson Kidd) found themselves caught up in an epic WrestleMania-sized storyline as the feud between Bret and WWE Chairman, Vince McMahon unfolded on Monday nights. It all culminated at ‘Mania 26 when Bret scored a sweet victory over Vince. Natalya perhaps scored the best spot of the night for any Diva (and yes, we’re aware there was a Divas match!) as she delivered an almighty slap to the man that writes her checks.
Raw Redux (December 27th, 2010): What Goes Around, Comes Around

After a sudden attitude change and a memorable slap to the Divas Champion on last week’s edition of Raw, Melina finds herself in a tag match teaming with Alicia Fox facing off against Eve and Gail Kim. Apparently, Natalya hasn’t learned her lesson, as she’s parked her third generation butt at the announcing table to call commentary on the match. Will the tension between the former champ and the current champ come to a breaking point this week? Will Natalya pay Melina back for the vicious slap she got last week? Check out the match below:
Back from commercial, Cole and Lawler introduced Natalya, who is looking stunning. Alicia and Melina are already in the ring discussing their strategy. Out next is the team of Eve and Gail, in matching gear, no less. While the babyfaces are headed to the ring, they cut to a replay from last week, detailing Melina actions after her match. Even a week later, that slap is still epic. As Natalya tells the folks how she felt about the slap, Melina shoots optical daggers her way. If looks could kill, poor Nattie would be six feet under.
Tribute to the Troops Watch: Kelly Kelly is Santa’s Most Helpful Little Helper

The Divas once again dusted off their sexy Santa outfits for the annual Tribute to the Troops show taped earlier this month in Fort Hood, TX. It was an 8-Diva tag team match as Kelly Kelly led her helpers – Natalya and the Bell Twins – into battle with Lay-Cool and their helpers, Alicia Fox and a newly-heeled Melina.
Regardez:
Kelly’s team is out first and frankly, I’m not sure why it’s Kelly’s team considering Natalya is the Divas Champion. Surely they should be coming out to her music? Anyhoo, they’re followed by Lay-Cool and co. and we get this match started in front of a huge WrestleMania-sized crowd. I was actually in awe of how long the entrance ramp was and the size of the crowd. Very impressive and generous of WWE to lend their time to all of these troops.
Alicia & Nikki Bella kick things off with A-Fox in control, wrenching Nikki’s arm. Nikki is whipped into the ropes it with a nice tilt-a-whirl backbreaker by Fox. Foxy whips Nikki into her corner aggressively and tags out to our new heel Diva, Melina. The former Divas Champ takes control and begins stomping at Nikki before hitting her with some hard, aggressive forearms. Brie tries to come into the ring and make the save but the referee catches her. With the ref distracted, the other heels begin attacking Nikki in their corner and Michelle hits her head against the side of the ring.
NXT Redux (December 21st, 2010): Maryse and Ted Come from Money but They Can’t Buy a Victory…

Well folks, Christmas has come early around these parts because not only did the WWE deliver a Divas match on NXT tonight, but yours truly gets to put on her NXT hat and bring you a Redux one more time! On tonight’s episode, season four pro, Maryse, and her pro boyfriend, Ted DiBiase, teamed up with their rookie, the beast of a man known as Brodus Clay, to take on the team of Chris Masters, his rookie, Byron Saxton, and a mystery Diva partner of their choosing. Lets take a look at how all of this played out!
The abortion of a theme song, “I Come From Money”, begins to play as the main event gets set to take place. Maryse and Ted make their way to the ring, arm in arm, with Brodus trailing behind them. The happy couple are chatting as they enter and get set, and Brodus just looks scary. Once their music fades, Christ Masters’ theme starts to play and he walks out with Saxton. They head to the ring and stop at the apron waiting for their mystery partner. It doesn’t take long for the music of the WWE Divas Champion, Natalya, to hit and she is greeted by a nice reaction and kisses to her hand from both Saxton and Masters. Talk about charming (especially Saxton with that million dollar smile)! Josh Matthews and Todd Grisham go over the rules for a mixed tag match while Nattie plays to the crowd. The bell finally rings.
Raw Redux (December 20th, 2010): The Slap Heard ‘Round the World

After a decisive victory over Lay-Cool at TLC on Sunday, Divas Champion Natalya was on the market for a new challenger for the coveted butterfly belt. Lucky for her, this week’s Raw featured a triple threat #1 contender match between Melina, Alicia Fox and Eve, all former champions in their own right. Which one of the beauties came out on top? Check out the match below:
We come from commercial to find Natalya at the announcer’s table, looking gorgeous might I add, scouting her future opponent. Melina’s music hits and she does an accelerated version of her usual entrance. Alicia Fox is out next, followed by Eve. As her opponents prepare themselves, Natalya engages in a bit of playful banter with the commentary team, showing off her more carefree side. The official signals for the bell and our #1 contendership match is underway.
Alicia wastes little time and goes right after Eve with a few stiff strikes. Melina tries to get in on the action, but eats an elbow in the process. Alicia goes back to work on Eve, throwing her into the top rope, before setting her sights on Melina. Alicia takes Melina out with a flurry of strikes, before pulling down to the mat by the hair. Eve tries to fight off the ‘vindictive’ one, but Alicia tosses her out of the ring, leaving her alone with Melina.
TLC in Review (December 19th, 2010): Divas Go Extreme and Look Fashionable While Doing So

A lot of people, myself included, were left flabbergasted when the mysterious Raw GM announced last Monday night that Michelle McCool and Layla would face off against Divas Champion, Natalya, and Beth Phoenix in the first ever Divas Tables Match at TLC. Lets face it, the WWE doesn’t exactly have a reputation for taking their girls seriously, and when this announcement was read I pretty much felt my jaw hit the ground from sheer and total shock. I quoted several times this week that this match had all the potential in the world, but it would end up being a total hit or miss. Thankfully for everyone involved, from the girls to the fans, the match was an absolute hit. Beth, Natalya, Layla, and Michelle made history last night and put their bodies on the line just to entertain the fans in the audience and those watching around the world. They proved that above all else they are wrestlers with just as much passion for the business as the people who bust their asses on the independent scene for years. Those people who write the Divas off just because they work for a company that only believes in giving them five minutes of airtime a week (max) that they’re not capable of putting together a truly good show. I really hope that everyone who watched the match or will watch will appreciate that the four ladies involved made the best use of their allotted time and did everything they could to make the match memorable.
It truly was one of the best Diva matches I’ve ever seen.
Former Divas Champions, Lay-Cool, are the first two to make their way to the ring. The Slammy award winners have their statues in their hands as they make their way to the ring. Both Michelle and Layla are sporting new ring gear and allow me to show my real wrestling fandom here; no doubt the top ring gear I’ve ever seen. Wow, both of those outfits are gorgeous. Anyway, moment over. Lay-Cool aren’t their usual confident selves as they go to the ring. They walk past several tables and Layla pretty much looks like she wants to cry. Michelle takes her hand and they finish walking together. As both members of Lay-Cool get on the apron, Layla declares that she doesn’t want to do the match at all. The cameras cut to highlights from SmackDown featuring what went down between all four women before cutting back to the ring. Michelle and Layla were seen having just watched the package and of course, that just got their emotions going again. They turned around and pointed to the pink table, crying about what could happen to them, when the Glamazon’s music started to play.
WWE TLC: Lay-Cool Laid Out in First Ever Divas Tag Team Tables Match
The holiday season isn’t getting off to a great start for Lay-Cool. The Diva duo were sent crashing through a table by Divas Champion, Natalya in the first ever Divas Tag Team Tables Match at TLC just moments ago. In an extremely entertaining match that saw multiple twists and turns, Lay-Cool were outsmarted by ‘Glama-Hart’, … Read more
PPV Predictions: WWE TLC 2010

Tonight will see the first ever Divas Tag Team Tables Match as Beth Phoenix and Natalya (Glama-Hart) team up to take on Lay-Cool. Who will be put through the table? And who will walk away with the victory? The DD team weigh in…
Cryssi: I expect a lot of shenanigans mixed with chaos in this match. The WWE picked the right four women to compete in this type of match. Natalya and Beth are brawlers, and Lay-Cool will have the comedy aspect down pat. Call me an optimist, but I expect this to be a beautiful match. Everyone will get a ‘spot’, but at the end of the night I fully expect to see Michelle McCool to go through a table with Layla slammed down on top of her giving Natalya and Beth Phoenix the victory. As far as after the match, that’s when things get fun. As the champ and the Glamazon celebrate, Melina runs out with a steel chair in hand and clocks Beth in the back, getting rid of her. Natalya is confused but she starts brawling with Melina. When the A-List Diva gets the upper-hand I expect her to ‘Last Call’ Natalya in the middle of the ring, set up a table, and send the Divas Champion through it. Heel turn completed.
David: Tonight’s Divas Tag Team Tables Match at TLC should be historic! If it was simply Divas Champion Natalya and a returning Beth Phoenix vs. resident bad girls Lay-Cool, that would be exciting enough for me. But add in a rich, interesting storyline (a rarity in WWE) and the hardcore stipulation, and these four girls have a great chance to wrestle a match we’ll remember for a long time. I am not sold on Beth’s friendship with Nattie; sure they might like each other but Nattie has something the Glamazon wants, the championship belt. I think Natalya and Beth Phoenix will defeat Lay-Cool tonight but then once the match is over Beth will slam Natalya through a table, sending her a message: in the end “gold and diamonds” really are a girl’s best friend.
Eric: There are two questions floating around in my head about this match. 1) Do both partners have to go through a table? 2) Is Beth even capable of a stunt like this? Does Layla even have the body mass to go through a table? While I am interested to see what WWE decides to do with the match, I don’t see any heel Beth/heel Melina swerves going on. I predict a short and sweet match. Look for Michelle to go through the table and look for Layla to be slammed on top of her. Natalya and Beth Phoenix will win. Maybe then Natalya will finally get a new challenger.
Diva Dirt’s Stars of the Week: Week of December 13th, 2010

It’s time to hand out some proverbial gold stars! Based on the week’s TV and news, each of the Diva Dirt team members have picked one female who they deem to be their ‘Star of the Week’. Read below…
April: I’m sure a lot of people would disagree but I think Michelle McCool finally got what she deserved. Diva of the Year is a worthy title for the former champion. She has been a staple in the WWE this past year and really secured herself in the Divas division. She is a major talent and I hope she continues on well into the future.
Cryssi: Despite nearly getting put through a table on SmackDown, Lay-Cool stand out as the Stars of the Week for me. Not only did they steal a Slammy win from a 105-year old woman, the ‘Cool’ part of the faction rightfully won the Diva of the Year Slammy by disposing of Diva’s Champion, Natalya, in a battle royal on Raw. Further more, Lay-Cool are going to step foot inside the ring on Sunday at TLC in the first ever Diva tables match. Whether they win or lose come Sunday, Lay-Cool are stars not just of the week, but of the whole year to be honest. Love them or hate them, they make you talk about them. And that is exactly what makes them the stars that they rightfully are.
David: My Star of the Week is Michelle McCool. She won the Diva’s battle royal on Monday Night Raw to officially be named “2010 Diva of the Year”, an honor I feel she deserved whether she won that battle royal or not. McCool was front and center of the Divas division all year and held the championship multiple times. Maybe the WWE had her win a battle royal because they knew fans wouldn’t vote for her. Whatever the reason, her win this past Monday night cemented a great year in her career. I would also like to hand out a second star of the week, this one to Allison Danger, as she was named the president of a new female wrestling promotion, Pro-Wrestling SUN. Congratulations and best wishes to her as she spearheads another great opportunity for fans to cheer the hard-working women in professional wrestling!
SmackDown Redux (December 17th, 2010): Natalya and Beth Send A Message
With TLC just mere days away, the Divas of the WWE were getting into the pay-per-view spirit on this Friday’s rendition of SmackDown. Michelle McCool, Layla, Beth Phoenix, and Diva’s Champion, Natalya, put together a nice little segment that built up their Sunday night showdown pretty darn well. Elsewhere, Kelly Kelly found a new potential soulmate in the form of a six foot six, dreamy blue eyed Scottish lad by the name of Drew McIntyre. Unfortunately for Drew, Kaitlyn the cockblocker showed up and ruined his chances of scoring a date with the WWE’s Barbie girl, but there’s always next week, right?!
Lay-Cool were walking to the ring when SmackDown returned from a commercial break, which set up the most important part of the show in my humble opinion. The two-time Slammy award winning duo were dressed in matching outfits and wore matching expressions of irritation on their faces. They had microphones and Michelle started us off. She said that what we were witnessing was the official protest of the Diva’s tables match at TLC this Sunday. She said that the match was not going to happen and Layla said that the match was completely barbaric. Michelle agreed and then Layla asked the crowd who in their right mind would want to see them go through a table? The crowd cheered which did nothing but piss off Lay-Cool. Michelle began to rant that no one seemed to understand what “diva” was. She said the crowd knew nothing about it and that the girls in the back knew nothing about it as well. Layla spoke up and said that being diva meant being flawless, and both Michelle and Layla gestured to themselves. Michelle declared that the table match at TLC was off and they stood their ground as Natalya’s music starting blaring across the PA system.
Raw Redux (December 13th, 2010): Lay-Cool are Slammy Queens

This week Raw hosted The Slammys, the night the Superstars and Divas wait all year for. After last year’s upset win by Maria in the category of ‘Diva of the Year, how could WWE top that? That’s right, a battle royal! But first, BFFs Lay-Cool won the “Knucklehead Moment of the Year award”. Check out their acceptance speech and the match below:
Let’s kick things off with the award. To be honest, it was more of the same from Lay-Cool in this segment. I would really love to see some kind of change in Lay-Cool in the new year, because this ‘Mean Girls’ schtick is really being run into the ground. It was amusing at for a while, but like most things in WWE, it’s being overdone at this point. Also, I thought it was very fitting that Layla accepted this award, as she’s the personality of this tandem. After making their speech, Lay-Cool says their about to win another Slammy and head to the ring for the battle royal.
First Ever Divas Tag Team Tables Match at TLC
For the first time in history the Divas will compete in Tag Team Tables Match at WWE TLC this Sunday. Divas Champion, Natalya and Beth Phoenix will team up against Lay-Cool in the match.
SmackDown Redux (December 10th, 2010): Lay-Cool Humbled. For Now.
So this week on WWE television we were treated to a double dose of Lay-Cool (Layla and Michelle McCool for those of you who are new to WWE wrestling…) as the former co-Diva Champions appear on Raw and their home show, SmackDown. On Raw, we were privy to their innermost thoughts as they joined the team of Jerry “The King” Lawler, Josh Matthews, and CM (God) Punk for commentary. Post Natalya/Melina match, Lay-Cool treated the champ to a beatdown. Typical Lay-Cool, eh? Well on SmackDown, Natalya made sure the same fate didn’t await her as she took on Layla in a singles match. The hot Canadian Diva brought a partner down to the ring with her.
Beth Phoenix, the Glamazon. Lets take a look at what went down.
Lay-Cool head to the ring first and can I just break kayfabe here for one second and say, my damn Michelle looks fierce tonight?! At times, she truly does put other women to shame. But anyway, Lay-Cool are walking to the ring and up on the Titan Tron a video package highlighting what went down between Lay-Cool and Natalya at the conclusion of Monday’s match against Melina started to play. Lay-Cool were quite proud of their actions and Layla even started to stroke her imaginary beard as the girls got settled inside the ring. Natalya’s music hits and the WWE Diva’s Champion makes her way onto the stage. She pauses and smiles (while she wears my favorite outfit of hers) and she looks down at the ring. That smile gets even brighter when Natalya’s music fades and the Glamazon’s music hits. Beth walks out and joins Natalya, much to the chagrin of Lay-Cool, and both blonde beauties walk down to the ring.
Raw Redux (December 6, 2010): Melina Taps, Lay-Cool Are Back, Twin Magic on Maryse

On this week’s edition of Monday Night Raw, Diva fans were treated to a double-shot of action in the form of a mixed tag match featuring Maryse and Ted DiBiase vs the team of Brie Bella and Daniel Bryan, as well as Natalya vs Melina in a non-title bout. First up, the mixed tag team match:
First out are the power couple of Maryse and Teddy, who have had a bit of tension between them in the past couple of weeks. While the million dollar couple prepare inside the ring, we cut backstage to smiling Nikki Bella, who goes to knock on Daniel Bryan’s dressing room door. However, before she can knock, the door opens and Bryan walks out with Brie Bella on his arm. Nikki asks Brie what she’s doing there and is informed that Brie volunteered to be Daniel’s partner tonight. Nikki smiles as her sister walks off with the U.S champ, but her expression quickly turns sour once they’re out of sight.
Raw Redux (November 29th, 2010): Santino Strikes Again

Last week, Natalya asserted her dominance over the Divas division in a unbeweavable singles match against the feisty Alicia Fox. This week she leads the team of Gail Kim and Melina against Alicia, Maryse and Tamina. Will she be able to be victorious once again? Check out the match below:\
Out first is the heel team and we are treated to a replay of the odd, yet entertaining exchange between Tamina and Santino. I should have known this was a precursor to what was to come later in this match, but I ignored it. Silly me.
Out next is the babyface team, who get a pretty good reaction from the crowd. After the obligatory posing to the crowd, the referee takes the belt from Nattie and starts the match with Melina and Maryse kicking things off for their respective teams. As we all know there’s no love lost between these two, so it was no surprise to see these two go toe to toe in the middle of the ring. In her usual cocky fashion, Maryse piefaced Melina, but gets a stiff forearm for her troubles. Melina mounts the French-Canadian beauty and they roll around for a bit, before Maryse manages to escape under the bottom rope.
In Video: Natalya Interviewed on Fox News Orlando
Divas Champion, Natalya is briefly interviewed in a news report from this past Monday’s episode of Raw in Orlando for the local Fox News affiliate. In the interview, the reporter manages to get Nattie to hike up her skirt a little bit to get a feel of her rock hard quadriceps. I don’t think that’s … Read more
SmackDown Redux (November 26th, 2010): Black Friday is Dark Indeed for Michelle McCool

The moment we had all been waiting for finally happened at Survivor Series last Sunday. Natalya defeated Lay-Cool (Layla and Michelle McCool) to become the new Diva’s Champion and Beth Phoenix made her highly anticipated return. The possibilities of a Natalya title reign are endless, and there are some mouth watering match-ups in there to boot. But first, we have to concentrate on SmackDown and after Nattie basically sent Lay-Cool packing on Raw, the egotistical devious duo were not in great moods. Michelle took on Kelly Kelly in a singles match. Lets go see how it worked out.
Lay-Cool’s music is playing as SmackDown comes back from a break or something. Both Layla and Michelle have microphones, and Michelle is dressed to wrestle. She says that Lay-Cool’s music needs to be cut and mentions that neither she nor her BFF are in the mood for shenanigans tonight. Layla believes that she’s currently having the worst week ever and Michelle claims that Natalya has stolen the Diva’s Championship which is apparently property of Lay-Cool. They insult Natalya and complain about what happened on Monday night. Neither are amused that Natalya had them kicked out of Raw. Lay-Cool say that they hate Raw and then begin to talk about how beautiful the people of Jacksonville, Florida are.
Raw Redux (November 22nd, 2010): Lay-Cool Denied and the Weave Flies!

Last night’s edition of Monday Night Raw was a solid show overall, but was very good to the Divas in particular. Not only did we get a solid match, we had several entertaining segments, as well. First we got a segment featuring the new Divas Champion, Natalyaand the former champions Lay-Cool. Check out the segment below:
Pretty good stuff here in this segment. I found Lay-Cool’s diva act pretty funny and seeing them get shut down by security was also pretty funny. Hopefully, this is a sign that Lay-Cool won’t be such a strong presence in the Divas division for the time being. I like Lay-Cool as characters and competitors, but they have pretty much been running the division. It will be a nice change of pace to see some of the other Divas get into the title picture.
Natalya Discusses Her Divas Championship Victory
Diva fans are still beaming after Natalya became the Divas Champion at Survivor Series. No doubt, she is one of the most respected Divas today amongst fans and it was a big moment to see her finally have her dream come true. It seems the emotion is not lost on WWE.com either, as they have … Read more
Survivor Series in Review: A Dream Becomes Reality for Nattie, Plus the Glamazon Strikes Back

Last night’s Survivor Series 2010 marked the third meeting between Co-Divas Champions, Lay-Cool and the third generation Diva, Natalya. Natalya has faced off against both members of Lay-Cool individually and came up short, but last night the odds were stacked even more against. This time she’d have to face both members in a 2-on-1 handicap match. Can the first lady of The Hart Dynasty take out the BFF champions to become the first ever third generation Divas Champion? Check out the match below:
Out first are the Co-Divas Champions and Michelle McCool is looking stunning in a copper variation of her usual ring gear. Layla… not so much. I don’t know what it is about Divas and mixing neon colors and weird prints, but it never looks good and this was no exception. I’m usually a big fan of Layla’s choices in ring gear, but this was a definite miss for her.
Trish Stratus Weighs in on Natalya and Beth at Survivor Series
From a current Hall of Famer to a future one, Trish Stratus has also commented on last night’s Divas action at Survivor Series via her Twitter page. She wrote: Big PPV last nite! Congrats to my girl @natbynature on becoming new Divas Champ–so proud! And welcome back @thebethphoenix…I see some good wrestling on the horizon … Read more
