WWE lists the best “good women” who have “gone bad”

WWE has decided to put together a Top 10 list of who they think are the best “good women” who have “gone bad.”

This topic was sparked with the recent events of last week where Bayley seemingly turned on Becky Lynch. We witnessed her siding with her best friend Sasha Banks with a steel chair attack on the RAW Women’s Champion. They would continue their attack on SmackDown, but this time Charlotte Flair would be the victim.

Bayley’s full heel turn remains to be seen as she stated that she is the same person but just having her best friends back. Someone who has always been there for her. The reactions to her “turn” have been mixed.

WWE’s list comprises many women from a few different eras. Let’s see what they have picked

  • 10. Lita betrays Kane
  • 9. Aj Lee costs Cena
  • 8. Becky pummels Charlotte
  • 7. Eve low-blows Ryder
  • 6. Trish kisses Christian
  • 5. Ronda says no more
  • 4. Mickie kicks Trish
  • 3. Sasha’s new attitude
  • 2. Nikki knocks out Brie
  • 1.Bayley gone bad

Winners & Losers: SmackDown 09/03/19

Women’s wrestling is getting exciting again in WWE. The crowd’s response between last night and tonight have shown that finally, we are moving in the right direction. Bayley kicks off SmackDown Live this week to explain her actions from the night before on RAW. She assisted Banks in the attack on Becky Lynch with a steel chair and many people want to know why. The SmackDown Women’s Champion simply explains that she was having her best friends back.

Banks has been there for Bayley through it all. Bayley will continue to have her back regardless of the circumstances. She proclaims that her purpose is still to build up the women’s division on SmackDown and to prove the kind of champion she is. She wants the SmackDown Title to be just as prominent as Becky Lynch with the RAW Title.

The result is to give new people a shot at her title such as Liv Morgan, Zelina Vega, or even Ember Moon who had a one time chance at SummerSlam. Bayley intends on doing just that after she takes out Charlotte Flair at Clash of Champions one week from Sunday. Turning her attention to Flair, she calls her the most selfish person to which The Queen makes her entrance.

https://twitter.com/tde_wrestling/status/1169041135924387840?s=20

Flair pretends to be shocked by this accusation. She declares that Bayley is quite perceptive and that she is right. Flair is the Queen of Selfishness. The Boss’ music hits and as she makes her way to the ring, Flair attacks Bayley. The number game is too much for The Queen and both Bayley and Banks take turns hitting her with a steel chair.

The match of the night was the Women’s Tag Team Championships vs. Fire & Desire. SURPRISINGLY! Fire & Desire picked up the win. The match culminated when Bliss was about to put away Sonya Deville.

Bliss plants her with a DDT and heads up to the top turnbuckle to deliver Twisted Bliss. On the outside, Mandy Rose and Cross were fighting causing a distraction to Bliss. That was enough time for Deville to get the knees up when Bliss hit her finisher. Rose is tagged in and the duo hit a team finisher. Rose pins Bliss for the win.

Could they have a title match at Clash of Champions now that they picked up a win on the champions?

Winners: Fire & Desire

Picking up a win against the tag champs was huge for this team. The women’s tag titles are one of the few titles not on the Clash of Champions card yet. The way the tag titles have been booked since inception made it predictable that it wouldn’t be on another pay-per-view. However, since Bliss and Cross have been champs the titles have been very visible.

Fire & Desire had a great showing at Elimination Chamber during the inaugural match. Many people thought they could have walked away as the first champs. Although Bliss and Cross probably won’t lose the titles anytime soon, it would be nice to have an actual feud for the titles for a change. Maybe this is a start?

Loser: Charlotte Flair

Out of the women that were on the show this week, Flair definitely came up on the losing end. The double team from Banks and Bayley left her reeling in the ring. Although Flair could very well become a 10-time champion a week from Sunday, tonight wasn’t her night.

If she were to lose at Clash of Champions it would be nice to see Bayley to actually have matches against those wrestlers she keeps mentioning. Especially Liv Morgan.

Winners & Losers: RAW 09/02/19

For months now many fans, critics, and journalists have been saying that the wild card rule is hurting WWE’s product. Myself included. We can all agree that using the same six to seven women every week gets stale, no denying that. With that being said, this week’s RAW hit it out of the park. Sure … Read more

Becky Lynch vs. Sasha Banks set for Clash of Champions

On tonight’s RAW, it has been confirmed that Becky Lynch will defend her RAW Women’s Championship against Sasha Banks at Clash of Champions. Winners & Losers: RAW 08/26/19

Monday Night RAW kicked things off the right way this week and that was with the women on our television screens. More importantly, RAW kicked off with The Boss, Sasha Banks and boy did she have a lot to say.

She starts off the segment saying that everyone wants to know why and where Sasha Banks has been. Being gone for four months she has minded her own business and hasn’t talked to anyone yet all she hears is her name coming out of peoples mouths.

After the crowd chants for Becky Lynch, Sasha goes down the list.

“How Sasha Banks threw a fit….I did.”

“How Sasha Banks was seen crying at WrestleMania at the locker room floor…I did.”

“How Sasha Banks took her ball and went home…ya damn right I did.”

https://twitter.com/tde_wrestling/status/1166140541941235712?s=20

She then stated that all of these reasons were because she was regulated at WrestleMania to a tag team title match that she cared nothing about. This happening while Becky Lynch was main eventing with Ronda Rousey. As a result, Banks went on vacation with the lesser paycheck from WrestleMania as opposed to what Lynch made by main eventing.

Banks explained that she came back and picked the right person to target, Natalya. After fake caring about Natalya’s tearful remembrance of her father, Banks chose the perfect time to attack. Lynch came out at that moment to try and help Natalya, but we all see the beating that she took as a result.

And why? For Sasha to be the center of attention. She states that she is the standard of the women’s division, she is the talk of the women’s division, and she has been since day one.

Natalya’s music then hits and she makes a bee-line to the ring and the two get into a brawl. Natalya throwing Sasha into the steel steps. Sasha grabbing hold of Natalya’s hair. The two continue to go at each other as the crowd chants “let them fight” as the officials try to pull them apart.

Two matches were scheduled this week on the red brand. Sasha Banks vs. Natalya to happen later in the night and first was Bayley vs. Nikki Cross.

The match between Bayley and Cross was said to be from the disrespect that the SmackDown Women’s Champion showed to Alexa Bliss on A Moment of Bliss. Cross was attempting to avenge Bliss’ honor from this match. This match was honestly not needed.

With Bayley moving on to Charlotte Flair, it is unsure why Bliss and Cross are still feuding with her. This time could have been literally any other RAW women’s talent instead. With that being said, It was a solid showing by both women at a decent length. Cross focused on the midsection of Bayley throughout the match. Bayley picked up the win as she executed an elbow from the top rope to get the pin.

https://twitter.com/tde_wrestling/status/1166158327497277440?s=20

Natalya facing Sasha Banks was also a nice showing for the few minutes they had. Both ladies showed offense throughout. Nattie took control first as she comes at Banks fast. The action spilled to the outside. She drives Banks into the barricade. As they get back into the ring, she follows up with a huge suplex.

Banks ends up taking control and focuses on Natalya’s injured arm by using the ring post. She then tosses her into the ring announcer area. Back in the ring, Natalya attempts to lock in the Sharpshooter but Banks counters and hits the backstabber into the Bank Statement. Nattie tries to hang in, but with having an injured arm she tapped out.

After the match Banks enters the ring again and applies another Bank Statement.

Winner: Sasha Banks

Banks continues to make it on the winner list since her return just a few weeks ago. She cut a great promo to start RAW. Going over the checklist of everything, people had been saying about her since she has been gone was done perfectly. She even delivered a nasty blow to the tag team titles. Her match could have been a few extra minutes, but it was good for what they gave them.

Her continuing to face Natalya isn’t a bad thing. It will most likely still be Lynch vs. Banks at Clash of Champions, but the use of Nattie until then is a good way to keep the two apart for the time being.

Winner: Natalya

Sure, Natalya was the loser this week of her match, but she did a great job throughout the night. The brawl at the beginning was great, her offense against Banks during the match was solid. She had a nice showing regardless of the outcome of her match.

She has been doing a great job since her run with Becky Lynch leading up to SummerSlam.

Loser: Nikki Cross

There really was no point to have Cross face Bayley on RAW or at all at this point. The whole thing really doesn’t make sense. Their feud is over and done with, so can we all just move on? If they actually had her pick up a win against Bayley then that would have at least been something. Bayley could be considered on the loser list as well, but she at least won the match.

Maybe instead of using the SmackDown Women’s Champion on RAW, they could have the Sarah Logan and Dana Brooke feud from Main Event be used? They must be tired of facing for the tenth time on a show no one watches.

Let’s hope that this week’s SmackDown will at least get a women’s match. Last week we were highly gipped.

Winners & Losers: RAW 08/19/19

Prior to RAW beginning this week it was advertised that Sasha Banks would be interviewed on The King’s Court. Her actions from her return last week were in question. Why did she return and destroy both Natalya and Becky Lynch? This interview originally to be done by Jerry “The King” Lawler never got underway. Lawler was attacked by The Fiend with the mandible claw prior to Banks coming out.

As a result of Lawler being out for the rest of the show, Banks was interviewed later in the show by Michael Cole. Prior to this, Becky Lynch did have something to say from earlier in the day. The RAW Women’s Champion explains that she wants the best of the best to come for her. At this moment she agrees it is Sasha Banks.

Lynch wants whoever comes for her title to be at the top of their game and at their peak. Lynch continues to mock The Boss for running away from WWE for the past four months. The Man questions why all of a sudden is Banks red hot when she has done absolutely nothing. She credits herself for this.

https://twitter.com/tde_wrestling/status/1163610063736647680?s=20

According to the champ, it took her to release the real Sasha Banks. She reminds her that she told her that this was a cat and mouse game. Once she does get her she promises that she will give her something to run home and cry about.

Later on, when Banks finally has her interview with Cole, he asks her to explain her actions from last week. She explains that she looked in the mirror last week and she told herself that blue is her color. As opposed to answering Cole about her attack on Natalya and Becky Lynch she focused on her change of hair color instead.

Cole responds to her avoiding the obvious question with a snarky comment that no one cares about her hair. He reiterated that everyone wants to know why she attacked her friend Natalya and a woman she grew up with through this business, Lynch. Banks had just two words to say, “You’re welcome.”

The only women’s match of the night came up next which was a tag match. The match was solid as Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose did their best to try and take out the tag champs. Deville’s quickness in the match was a highlight. This wasn’t enough as Nikki Cross cut her down in the end.

Unfortunately for Fire & Desire, they came up short. Cross hit the cross neck breaker to get the pin. Although RAW could easily have had more than one match with literally anyone else on the roster (or even SmackDown‘s roster), we only get one, again.

The last segment of the night involved Natalya backstage with her arm still in a sling. She states she just came back from WWE’s doctors. Between battling Becky Lynch for the RAW Women’s Title at SummerSlam and having the one year anniversary of her Dad’s passing, she knew it was going to be an emotional week.

What she didn’t expect was for her now-former friend Sasha Banks to attack her. As she continues to describe how she feels from the attack, Banks attacks her again. She is able to get Nattie’s injured arm into an open drawer from one of the equipment containers. She slams Nattie’s arm in the drawer and states, “Go to hell Nattie and tell your Daddy I said Hi.”

Let’s go over the Winners and Losers of the night.

Winner: Nikki Cross

Cross picked up the win for her team tonight which propels her to the winner’s list this week. She hasn’t been the one on her team to pick up the pins since winning the tag titles so it was nice to see this. Cross is growing well on the main roster.

Winner: Sasha Banks

Banks continued to deliver her savagery this week. She kept her reasonings to herself on why she performed the attacks last week. Her attack on Natalya, although not as severe as last week, still kept last weeks momentum going. The clear picture is going to be Banks vs. Becky Lynch, but still including Natalya in the equation is interesting.

Losers: Fire & Desire

Fire & Desire wind up on the loser list purely because they lost their match this week. With the lack of women on the show again there are only so many options. Since there aren’t many teams to pick from it is possible that they will still receive a title shot in the future.
