House Show Results Round-Up (July 9-11th, 2010): Alicia, Eve Impress

Here is a round-up of the weekend’s house show results. We’ll hopefully be doing this each week from now on.

Raw
July 9th (Peoria, IL): Alicia Fox def. Eve Torres to retain the Divas Championship. “Santino guest ref. There were a few funny spots but nothing much of a match.” (PWInsider)

July 10th (Rockford, IL):: Alicia Fox def. Eve Torres to retain the Divas Championship. “I really enjoyed this match. A good mix of comedy and wrestling. Of course the divas would roll over Santino, who then promply celebrated. One of my favorite moments was Eve holding Alicia up in a delayed scoop slam, and dropping her down on her knee for a gut buster, but then started spanking her. The crowd was way into it more than you’d see on Raw. Alicia hit the axe kick for the win.”

The Hart Dynasty def. The Usos & Tamina. “It was a good, leaning toward great match. The crowd loved Smith’s delayed suplex, while Tyson was just so smooth. I felt the Usos held their own. Tamina, who was dressed more as a valet than a wrestler, didn’t get involved until the end, which was countered by Natalya. Hart Attack for the win.” (PWInsider)

July 11th (Huntington, WV): Alicia Fox def. Eve Torres to retain the Divas Championship. “Fox fakes the ankle injury then connects with the scissor kick.” (Lords of Pain)

Complete Results from Third Annual WSU Uncensored Rumble

WSU held its third annual Uncensored Rumble event this past Saturday in New Jersey headlined by a 22-woman over the top Rumble match with the winner earning a shot at the WSU Championship. Full results below courtesy of WSU Wrestling:

On Saturday, June 26th, WSU presented “The Third Annual Uncensored Rumble” event, featuring the much hyped WSU World Title Prize Fight between WSU World Champion Mercedes Martinez & #1 Contender Alicia. Other big stars competed on this event, and many fans are calling this the best set of WSU DVD tapings yet.

Taping one:
Before the show started, Amy Lee & Mickie Knuckles came out to do a moment of silence for fallen indy wrestler Trent Acid. Acid was well liked in the northeast scene. Afterwards, Amy Lee plugged the efforts of long-time Trent Acid fan, Belinda, who was taking up donations for the Acid Fund.

Daizee Haze d. Cherry Bomb after a tiger suplex in a match where both wrestlers were making their WSU debuts.

WSU Tag Team Title Match
(c) The Cosmo Club (Cindy Rogers & Jana) w/Brittney Savage & Rick Cataldo d. The Fly Girls (Divina Fly & Niya)
The new rookie upstart tag team, The Fly Girls, looked impressive in their debut, showing off their high flying and striking abilities. However Rogers & Jana, two WSU veterans, proved too strong and smart, and Jana caught Niya with her Jana-Vice (Front facelock submission) for the tap out win.

After this match, Rain & Rain’s Army, of Nikki Roxx, Lacey, Jessicka Havok & Amber O’Neal came out. The Cosmo Club & Rain’s Army met each other in the aisle way, but no incident occurred. Rain’s Army hit the ring and the psychotic Rain led a full blown attack on The Fly Girls. Rain destroyed The Fly Girls. Rain then talked about how she should be WSU World Champion and how she should’ve won the World Title match at the Three Year Anniversary show. Rain then promised that she would defeat Kong tonight and that her charges would all win their matches, guaranteeing a clean sweep. Rain then said Jessicka Havok was up first and this led to…

Uncensored Rumble 3 Qualifier Match
The first person eliminated would enter the Uncensored Rumble first, the person who eliminated the final person on the opposing team would get the coveted last spot in the Rumble
Jessicka Havok/Amber/Lexus/Rick Cataldo d. Sassy Stephanie/Tina San Antonio/Marti Belle/Latasha
Rick Cataldo was eliminated within the first minute of the match, which meant he would have to enter the rumble at number 1, the worst spot to enter the rumble at.

The fan favorite team of Stephanie/The Belle’s Saints/Latasha, worked really well together and it looked like they would be sweeping the match. It eventually came down to Jessicka Havok vs the entire team of Stephanie/Belle’s Saints/Latasha. However, Rain’s Army enforcer Jessicka Havok went nuts. The former WSU tag champion, returning to WSU, destroyed the competition with a series of power moves, lastly eliminating Sassy Stephanie after a brutal must-be-seen-to-be -believed sitout powerbomb to win the match. As a result, Havok earned the last spot in the rumble.

However, right after the match, Rain came to the ring with a pay envelope. It was then shown that Rain had just paid off Jessicka Havok for the last spot in the rumble! Rain was at it again. Always the one to think 10 steps ahead, Rain just guaranteed herself the best spot in the rumble, while her enforcer did all the hard work to earn that spot.

Scrapped Knockouts Match Airs on International Impact (Full Match Report)

Diva Dirt reader, David Myles wrote in to tell us that a match scrapped from this past Thursday’s episode of Impact has aired internationally, particularly in Australia and the UK.

The match pit #1 Contender Roxxi and newcomer Rosie Lottalove against The Beautiful People’s Lacey Von Erich and Velvet Sky on the go-home show before tonight’s Slammiversary pay per view.

The Motor City Machine Guns came down on commetary, Roxxi’s music played and her and Rosie made their way to the ring in a pretty funny entrance. (Roxxi again wearing the brown outfit). The guns are horrified they have to be on commetary watching Rosie just to get on TV, but they call her ‘hot’ nonetheless. They replay the events from last week with Madison and Rosie. The opponents Velvet and Lacey enter (sans Madison Rayne), and the Guns compare entrances of Rosie and TBP. A few fat jokes and we get to the match.

Rosie starts off against Velvet, Velvet mocks Rosie by shaking her ‘thang’, to which Rosie shakes her own. Velvet charges and gets knocked down by Rosie before tagging in Lacey, who also mocks Rosie by walking in with her arms outstretched (a la trish mocking ‘fat’ lita), before shoving Rosie, who doesn’t move, Rosie shoves Lacey back and sends her into next week.

Lacey composes herself before attempting to bodyslam Rosie (yep…) even with Velvet’s encouragement she fails to lift Rosie, and Rosie easily slams Lacey before tagging in Roxxi who hits a sloppy dropkick on LVE, before Lacey tags in Velvet. Velvet charges and is dropped with a drop toe hold, she grabs Vel Vel with an arm wrench before allowing Rosie to tag herself in (after being slightly out of reach and missing the first tag attempt ~lulz) Rosie hits a standing axe-handle to Velvet before continuing to work over the arm. Roxxi (for some reason) is trying to get into the ring or around to Lacey, but anyway, manages to accidently distract the referee, allowing Velvet to pull Rosie’s hair and get her in position for LVE to hit her across the back of the leg with the infrequently seen ‘ugly stick’. Rosie sells it like she had been shot in the leg, and Lacey tags in and hits a double team ‘wish bone’ on Rosie, Lacey works over the leg before tagging Velvet back in.

NCW Femmes Fatales 3 Taping Results: LuFisto, Daffney Return to the Ring

NCW Femmes Fatales returned to action last night in Montreal to film the third volume in its DVD series. The taping saw the in-ring returns of SHIMMER’s LuFisto and TNA Knockout, Daffney for the first time since their respective hiatuses.

LuFisto, who is also the founder of Femmes Fatales, competed in her first match since suffering a stroke in April, against Sara Del Rey. Meanwhile, this was Daffney’s first match back since that now infamous dark match with new Knockout, Rosie Lottalove at an Impact taping in April. Daffney suffered a bruised sternum and was only recently cleared to wrestle as announced by TNA President, Dixie Carter.

Full results from last night’s show below courtesy of reader John Hyperion:

Pre-Show
* Angie Skye def. Missy. Short match, but both of these women came across as very solid in the ring, especially for pre-show. Angie Skye has about the best gear ever to boot.

* Kira & Moonlight def. Segolene & Eve. Moonlight looks like Tomoka Nakagawa’s Canadian twin, and wrestles a bit like it too.

Main Show
1. Portia Perez (w/ Nicole Matthews) def. PJ Tyler with a handful of tights. Portia Perez started off the show by legit making a little boy in the front row cry. Outstanding.

2. Xandra Bale & Kacey Brooks def. Anastasia Ivy & Evilyn Fox with double Tornado DDTs. Xandra Bale can really, really go. I’d expect any fans of Shantelle Taylor/Taylor Wilde would get a kick out of her demeanor and athleticism.

3. Anna Minnoushika (w/ Madmoiselle Rachelle) def. Sabrina Kyle via SMASHING. Anna has an awesome faux white tiger skin ring jacket, which somehow managed to add to how intimidating she is.

2. Rachel Summerlyn def. Kellie Skater with a Texas cloverleaf. Not a bad match. Skater’s chest still looks horrible.

3. Cat Power def. Nevaeh with the Side Effect. Neveah put in a great effort. Nice to see that she can go, even without Ashley Lane.

4. Allison Danger & Jennifer Blake def. Annie Social & Melanie Cruise. Blake pinned Social after a modified pumphandle slam. Jen and Danger start a Addams Family chant calling Social and Cruise, Wednesday and Pugsley. Lol. Things broke down at the end but great nonetheless.

5. Tomoka Nakagawa def. Jessie McKay with the fisherman suplex. Jessie hit three running knees strikes and two School Girl Crushes but Nakagawa spits in her face and hit the suplex for the win.

Backstage interview with Madison Eagles. Eagles says that she won’t defend the title tonight.

6. Portia Perez def. Tenille via superkick. Portia’s elbow is heavily taped. Tenille works on the arm at the start. Portia tries to escape but Tenille cuts her off with a kick. Portia gets the upper hand and takes it to Tenille busts out her awesome bridging Indian deathlock. Tenille would be my pick for breakout star of these tapings.

Volume 31

2. Jessie McKay def. Sassy Stephie with the School Girl Crush followed by the Boyfriend Stealer. Great Back and forth match. Sassy pulled some awesome moves but Jessie managed to take the win.

4. Malia Hosaka def. Rayna Von Tosh with a chicken wing face buster. Crowd is hot for Rayna. Gorgeous in person. Sloppy match to be honest, but Rayna is hot enough to make me not care!

5. Mercedes Martinez def. Tomoka Nakagawa with a top rope fisherman buster. Great technical wrestling at the start. Sick brainbuster midway through. Nakagawa almost got the win with a fisherman buster.

6. Melanie Cruise def. Allison Danger. Cruise wins after Annie Social distracts the ref allowing her to roll up Danger. After the match the heels beat down Danger and Jennifer Blake makes the save. Danger and Blake challenge Social and Cruise for Vol. 32 to be taped later today.

3. LuFisto def. Cat Power with the Burning Hammer. Refs take Cat out of the ring. Looks like she may be injured.

Daizee cuts a promo backstage on Jamilia. She tells her she better check herself. Daizee and Tomoka vs Jamilia and Misaki is announced.

5. Ayumi Kurihara def. Nikki Roxx after reversing the Barbie Crusher into a sunset flip. Big upset.

Melissa promo backstage with MsChif. Melissa calls ‘Chif out and says she wants a shot at the belt. Sarah Stock interrupts and says she should be asking her for a shot. Madison Eagles interrupts and says 2010 is the year of the Eagles. ‘Chif says Melissa and Madison will face each other and the winner will face the winner of the ‘Chif/Stock match.

6. Daizee Haze & Tomoka Nakagawa def. Jamilia Craft & Misaki Ohata. Haze pins Craft after a tiger suplex. Craft is green but Daizee has taught her well. Enjoyable match up.

5. Allison Danger def. Rayna Von Tosh with the Lovelace Choker. Surprisingly a back and forth match. Good stuff at the start by with Rayna flrting with the ref.

Nicole Matthews comes out with handcuffs and holds back Bryce from helping. Leva Bates and Neveah try to make the save but are taken out by Melanie Cruise and Annie Social. Ariel as well. Weekend House Show Results Round-Up (March 12th-14th): Beautiful People’s First Title Defense

TNA hit the road this past weekend along with WWE. Let’s see what all the Divas and Knockouts got up to…

Friday, March 12th
Raw
Gail Kim & Kelly Kelly def. Alicia Fox & Maryse
Kelly pinned Alicia after hitting the K2.

TNA
The Beautiul People def. Sarita & Taylor Wilde
Borash was back in the ring to announce the very first TNA KNOCKOUTS TAG TITLE DEFENSE for the Beautiful People who took on Wilde & Sarita. The crowd popped for both teams as if this were watching Trish Stratus and Lita in their prime.
Recognizing this, the Beautiful People did a great job of working the audience to keep them hot through a surprisingly good match. Wilde seemed to have found a friend as she was waiting for the champs to come out. She spent about two minutes bent over and wiggling her ass at a group of collage kids with cameras. (Source: F4WOnline.com)

Saturday, March 13th
SmackDown
Michelle McCool def. Beth Phoenix
Tiffany came back out to Throw some WWE T-shirts to the crowd when Michelle McCool interrupted her. Michelle got Good amount of Heat since she was on the mic spoiling all the fun. She said that no one came here to see Tiffany, not the first two times that she came out and not right now. She tells Tiffany to do everyone a favor and close her mouth. She says its girls like Tiffany that disgust her and continues to boast about herself to the crowds demise. At this point, my area started a “Fight” chant and wanted to see the two go at it. Michelle points at the outside barriers and tells Tiffany that she belongs on the other side of the barrier. This is where the funny part begins, Michelle takes a dig at Tiffany’s outfit saying to the fans they can go on any street corner to find someone like Tiffany out there. Michelle continues to insult Tiffany and says what she is wearing is normal continuing to praise that she is Flawless, Simply Flawless. She tells Tiffany if she is going to pay for her ticket, or better yet Michelle says she will make Tiffany pay. Michelle pushes Tiffany down and continues to kick her ass. Beth Phoenix comes out for the save which leads to this match…

WWE Womens Championship Match: Michelle McCool (c) vs Beth Phoenix
Pretty good action early on, Beth Phoenix dominated most of the match for the most part. At one point, Michelle leaves the match to run to the back and Beth goes off to chase her. Beth Phoenix does a Stalling suplex and bounces Michelle’s Legs to the ropes to send her to the canvas. Beth Irish whips Michelle to the corner and Beth butt crushes her onto that corner. Michelle at this point is on the outside of the ropes, Beth goes to chase her and Michelle delivers a viscous kick that pretty much knocks Beth out for the pinfall. Michelle wins the match and Beth sells the kick good in a short three minute match. (Source: Diva Dirt reader, DaJoel)

TNA Impact: New Year’s Knockout Eve Discussion & Results

On the last night of the year and the decade, TNA makes history by giving the TNA Knockouts a show entirely to themselves! Spend your New Year’s Eve with the Knockouts as tonight 8 women battle it out to become the #1 Contender for Tara’s Knockouts Championship.

Results
Hamada vs Madison Rayne
We kick off New Year’s Knockout Eve with Hamada vs Madison Rayne. Hamada controls much of the match with some beautiful kicks. She picks up the win with the Hamada Driver in about 4-5 mins. Sorry, I didn’t catch all of this match but seemed like a good showing from both girls.
Winner: Hamada

Backstage Christy Hemme is with Tara. She says she is going to hold the Knockouts Title with pride, honour, class and a few other things I didn’t quite catch. She will be presenting the 3 biggest pay per view matches of 2009 during the show.

ODB vs Traci Brooks
ODB is Taz’s pick for the tournament. Right at the bell, she spits her liquid courage in Traci’s face before slamming her down on the canvas. Traci comes back and starts attacking ODB, Mike Tenay brings up Traci’s ‘birth defect’ in her arm. ODB hits a bulldog on Traci and then targets her arm. ODB taunts Traci, Traci takes ODB off her feet and hits her a few times. ODB hits an inverted slam on ODB, Traci then hits a spear on her. Traci hits ODB with Flair chops and hits her with an atomic drop and then slams her down by the hair. Traci gains momentum and rips off her t-shirt ala Hulk Hogan and then hits a knee to the back of ODB’s head, who is hanging on the ropes. ODB comes back with a knee to Traci’s stomach and throws her into the corner. ODB charges at Traci, she counters and gets up on top. ODB grabs Traci’s arm and slams her down from the top rope. ODB hits the TKO and picks up the win. Kind of a boring match, to be honest. Seems like the whole Traci’s arm thing is an angle… creative, I’ll give them that.
Winner: ODB

Christy Hemme is backstage with The Beautiful People. She says all hopes for a title shot rest on Velvet whose match is next. Madison calls Christy a make stand and says she could beat Hamada any day of the week, Christy responds: “Apparently not tonight.” Velvet says that Madison would have to face Velvet if they won their matches. Velvet says Madison was being strategic and Madison plays along. Lacey says Lauren got fired because she tortured her and that’s the only reason Christy is there. Velvet says Lauren slapped Lacey and was being unprofessional. Lacey says she only had to say four words to TNA management: “Unsafe working environment.” Joke being it’s only three words.

Official Results & Photos from SHIMMER 4th Anniversary Taping

shimmer2728resultsHamada makes her SHIMMER debut (IMAGE CREDIT: WrestlinWally.com)

SHIMMER has released the official recap from the 4th anniversary taping two weeks ago on November 8th. As previously reported, the company filmed Volumes 27 and 28 in Berwyn, Illinois. Check out the results below:

SPARKLE (pre-show)

1. SHIMMER Tag Team Champion NICOLE MATTHEWS defeated SKILLED DEATH ARTIST #2 after hitting Last Rites on the masked competitor. Matthews saw what appeared to be someone dressed as a ninja enter the ring, and came out to object on the microphone. Matthews shouted “Ninja please,” and agreed to fight on the pre-show to demonstrate what happens to people who are guilty of gimmick infringement.

2. KACEY DIAMOND & SASSY STEPHIE (w/ Mademoiselle Rachelle) defeated KIMBERLY KASH & LEVA BATES in a tag team contest. Stephie and Kash made their return to SPARKLE competition here. The French Canadian Kacey made her way to SPARKLE from the NCW Femmes Fatales promotion in Montreal, while Leva is a newcomer out of the state of Florida who appears for Full Impact Pro.

Full SHIMMER 4th Anniversary Taping Results (Volumes 27 and 28)

shimmer4thann

As mentioned several times over the weekend, SHIMMER held their 4th anniversary show yesterday in Berwyn, Illinois, filming two new volumes for the SHIMMER DVD series. Greg on the official SHIMMER forum has posted results from the taping. Which you can check out below.

If any other fans attended the show and would like to send in their thoughts, please do e-mail us at [email protected].

VOLUME 27

We began with a backstage promo from Nikki Roxx. She noted how she was in the opening match on the first show. After being back for a year and a half, it was time for a title match, so later tonight it’ll be MsChif vs. Nikki Roxx for the title.

1. Malia Hosaka (w/ Lexie Fyfe on a stick) defeated Tenille. Lexie has been injured for a while, so Malia brought out a cardboard anime drawing of her on a stick (there’s a fan at ringside who makes these cutouts for everyone at every show, and he even designed a recent DVD cover). Malia was her usual great self, but I feel that Tenille still needs a lot of work.

Portia Perez promo from her home. Promoted Dave Prazak noted a couple days ago that she was legitimately sick with the Swine Flu. However, the segment made it seem like she was faking it, as she had a fake note from “The Doctor”, brought out a bunch of candy as “Doctor’s Orders”, and added a couple of weak coughs here and there for effect.

Allison Danger came out to complain about how Perez is scared of her, especially after just winning the tag titles. Nicole Matthews came out to defend her, and that lead to Kellie Skater attacking Danger. As Matthews left, so noted “I don’t even know who that is!”

2. Allison Danger defeated Kellie Skater. Danger’s first good match since having her child. Skater has a great personality, and hit some good moves as well. Skater is one to look out for down the line.

Daizee Haze came out. She apologized for being injured again, and noted her students were injured as well. So, wanting to be involved somehow, she became a ref for the taping. This involved a hilarious scene where head referee Bryce Remsberg gave her a ref’s shirt as if was an engagement ring.

3. The International Home Wrecking Crew of Rain and Jetta (w/ Lacey) defeated Daffney and Rachel Summerlyn. Oh Jetta. For this match, she decide to wrestle in a more, shall we say, revealing top. The story of the match was that Rachel was in there on her own. A couple times when she goes for the tag, Daffney wasn’t there due to things like warming up the crowd. Near the end, when Rachel is ready for another tag, she walked out on her. After the match, the crew had a dance to a pop song. Laughs all throughout the match.

4. Cat Power defeated Ariel. Daizee Haze was the referee. My goodness, Cat Power gets hotter by the taping. There was nothing really memorable about the match.

5. Wesna Busic and Melanie Cruise defeated Ashley Lane and Nevaeh. Busic and Cruise’s manager Annie Social was absent due to a health issue. Lane and Nevaeh started off strong, but after Busic came in, this was almost a squash of the former tag team champions.

Backstage bit with LuFisto and Amazing Kong. Both wanted title shots. Daizee came between then, and made a #1 Contenders match for tonight.

6. Cheerleader Melissa defeated Nicole Matthews. Great match. Nicole was able to injure Melissa’s knee early on, and worked on it like crazy. After a stiff Curb Stomp, and some back and forth counters, Melissa hit to Kudo Driver for the win.

7. Sara Del Rey defeated Jessie McKay. At first glance, Jessie looks just like one of the Bella Twins. But she can go. The match was primarily a squash, but she still got in great moves and kicks. However, she fell to an arm bar.

8. Amazing Kong vs. LuFisto ended in a couple count out. Daizee was the ref again. Physical and stiff is how you can describe this one. At one point, LuFisto actually hit a German suplex on Kong. Eventually, the fight spilled outside, they brawled outside, and were counted out.

After Hamada came out for her match, Kong and LuFisto came back out, still fighting, and continued through the entry way.

9. Ayoko Hamada defeated Mercedes Martinez. Great match. Kicks and crops galore. Hamada comes as advertised, and delivers.

10. MsChif defeated Nikki Roxx to retain the SHIMMER Championship. Not bad, but nothing sticking out as notable.

Right before intermission, Daizee came back out to clarify that the #1 Contenders match was a double count out, but that she still had to declare a top contender. So she made it a three-way match. MsChif vs. Amazing Kong vs. LuFisto.
